We had an upgraded room that was very clean and spacious. There was free coffee and cookies at reception, which was a nice touch. Breakfast offered lots of hot and cold options, there is plenty of free parking at the hotel and all the staff were really friendly and helpful.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It is close to the town center but surrounded by fields, wherever you look. It is a fantastic option to truly disconnect and enjoy the peace and tranquility that this place offers. A three-minute drive is the Kitchen Kettle Village, an open-air shopping complex where you can enjoy in the views, learn more about the local culture, and feed the goats! The Intercourse town center. I also recommend visiting the amish farm and house which is 12 minutes away by car. You will love it! The hotel is newly renovated, parquet flooring, clean bathroom... large TV, fridge, microwave... everything you need. They offer coffee in the room and you can park without problem. It's a great hotel, you won't regret it.

Location is great, nice and quiet, not far from Strasburg and Lincoln Highway - about 4 miles from Tangers Outlets. Katies Kitchen just down the road towards Lincoln Highway is worth a visit excellent food. Since the rebuild I notice that the Amish folk do not seem to be there now (early December) and the food prices have gone up quite a lot an Adult Breakfast is now $19.99, Adult Weekday Lunch $24.99, Weekday Dinner $31.99 unlimited beverages $3.99, Saturday Lunch $32.99, Saturday Dinner $39.99, we were having the breakfast as it was included in our room and we ate out the rest of the day - but for what we ate no way was it worth $19.99.

The quirkiness of the property is the draw for me. We checked in a little early but it wasn't a problem. We came on a super windy day,but carriage is warm and comfortable. Super clean,toiletries provided and loads of towels. There is even a hairdryer. It's far out,but loads of places to eat and shop within 15/20 minutes drive. It's so peaceful.

Lancaster and the surrounding area have so much to offer!

Lancaster and the surrounding area have so much to offer! We make a point of steering to here whenever we're returning from Florida to Canada(Quebec). Countryside is gorgeous. The shops are unique to the area. And the food! Yup, we need to plan a trip where get to stay longer!

Hershey is a great place to visit.

Hershey is a great place to visit. So many attractions close by...the Hershey Museum, Hershey Chocolate World, Hershey Park, the Butterfly Gardens and Botanical Gardens and more. Plus there are great places to see that are only a short drive away...Gettysburg, Lancaster, Sight and Sound Theater just to name a few.

It is a nice area and has lots to offer and is in the middle of alot of things to do. Like the outlets, Kitchen Kettle, American Music Theatre, Straussburg Rail Road and lots of side sightseeing trips you can go on. We love to come to the Lancaster Area.

The pool was good therapy. A hot breakfast with quite a few options compared to most hotel breakfasts. Alcohol available to purchase. Room clean, spacious and comfortable. Some excellent diners near by.

Nice place.

Nice place. Interestingly, their "Amish" are EXTREMELY MODERN AND WEALTHY when compared to the Amish of Palatine Township, Montgomery County, New York. The train Museum is lovely. The surrounding farms are as modern, fertile, and productive as those of Central Nebraska. GORGEOUS SECENRY!

My husband and I enjoyed visiting Lititz.

My husband and I enjoyed visiting Lititz. We toured the Johannes Mueller House, walked around town to see the historic homes, and went to the park. We went to Wilbur's for some chocolate, and perused many of the quaint shops. We had a fabulous breakfast at the Tomato Pie Cafe, and a terrific dinner at the Lititz Pizza Company. It was a very enjoyable weekend away!

I came to Intercourse for the Amish Village and only for one...

I came to Intercourse for the Amish Village and only for one night, so I didn't have time to discover Intercourse. But I managed to walk to Olde Mill Restaurant for dinner. I liked Waltz Vineyard apple Crisp wine so much, I brought home two bottles. Seeing Amish horse buggies riding down the road in front of the inn where I stayed was nice.

Visiting Bird-In-Hand is a relaxing adventure from buying fresh baked goods at the Bird-In-Hand Bake Shop to the Farmers Market. There are plenty of shops for antiquing. You can take a ride with Aaron and Jessica's Buggy Ride through the countryside to see the farms and take you away from the stresses of your everyday life. The guided tour at the Amish Experience is great way to hear about the area and watch Jacob's Choice in the theater to understand the Amish way of life. Bird-In-Hand is truly a treasure of Lancaster.

As I said earlier, this is a nice location.

As I said earlier, this is a nice location. Mountville is very easy to get around. It is also very close to Centerville and Lancaster. We ate one meal at the Black Olive Diner in Columbia which serves a lot of food. You want to go there if you are very hungry. We also had a light snack and drink at Elimar's Bar & Grill, 2309 Columbia Avenue. We really enjoyed both the atmosphere and food there. It is basically Mexican cuisine.
