I liked all of the bright airy space in the lobby. It was so nice to have breakfast in a comfortable space with lots of big windows to the outside. Also there were lots of great options for breakfast: eggs and breakfast sandwiches, waffles, muffins, cereals and fruit. I loved the set up in the room - plenty of storage space and a well equipped kitchen. The staff were always pleasant and helpful.

To be honest we were a bit reluctant to book this hotel last minute. Why? Because on the pictures it looked a bit too old fashioned for our liking. In the end we did decide to trust the raving reviews and we were so glad we did! Not only was the room (in the main building) big and really comfortabel, it turned out the pictures didn't do it justice (or maybe it's just us being a bit allergic to the red, yellow and blue fabrics). Anyhow, we have enjoyed our stay in this hotel tremendously. The complimentary wine and cheese hour is a lovely touch! The location right in the center of Rehoboth Beach is perfect, as is the free parking. The breakfast was pretty good too. We enjoyed the pool for hours and had a wonderful night's rest. What more can you ask for?

What was there not to love from an amazing location to a wonderful staff team who were all so welcoming and cheery. Our room was huge and well appointed and had a sea view balcony - the pool area was spotless as well. Great breakfast with freshly made burritos and egg, spinach and tomato pots for example, cereals etc. Late afternoon cheese, wine and crackers was very sociable as were the 8.00pm freshly made cookies and milk. Coffee / tea on tap at all times. It is obviously a really great place to stay as evidenced by so many repeat stayers

My stay was excellent. The place was very clean and comfortable, but the best part was the staff’s consideration. They made everything easy for me to check in late at night, even though the reception was already closed. They sent me all the instructions by email, and everything was clear and well-organized. Just remember to always check your email because they communicate through there. This was my second time staying here, and I highly recommend it

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They asked if we were celebrating any event at the time of making the reservation. We were celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. There was Champaign waiting for us when we got to our room. Totally unexpected but such as nice surprise. The location was great, as was the indoor rooftop pool.

Loved how there was enough diversity and how the people were respectful and polite. I loved that there were no taxes on certain items. Loved the beach experience but of course the traffic was terrible, but what to expect when trying to have fun!!

We liked the downtown area.

We liked the downtown area. We enjoyed both McGlynn's and Countrie Eatery! Dover's closeness to Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge is the reason we stayed there. We enjoyed great birdwatching there and very pleasant walks. Getting around Dover was easy and pleasant.

The beach is clean and the lifeguards are excellent. The boardwalk is roughly a mile long and has shops, hotels, and houses on it. There are also lots of shops and restaurants near the beach. It’s my favorite beach.

Wilmington is not a big town.

Wilmington is not a big town. It is a lovely town, but you can walk it in a day. Split it into two. Enjoy the renovated riverside with its history, the Children's Museum and the great selection of restaurants and bars. Then enjoy a walking tout of the town. The architecture is amazingly diverse from the Quaker town hall to the ugly glass financial buildings. All architecture students should spend time there and learn from history what they should do and from the present developments what they shouldn't!

I can't comment about the location or experience since I did not stay there. Due to personal problems I could not travel and couldn't stay, I requested multiple times to the property and booking.com to get me some refund but I did not get even 1% of the refund. I had booked for 8 nights, would have been great If could have got 50% of the refund atleast.

Great area for night life or families.

Great area for night life or families. Tons of restaurants of all kinds in the area. Nalu and Mama Maria's are our favorites. Water at the beach is a little rough, a booking with a pool on site is always a plus. Parking can be tricky if it is not included in your stay.

We chose this location due to it being close to our family.

We chose this location due to it being close to our family. We are originally from Bridgeville and Ellendale area. This property sits on what was once The Flagship Restaurant and is surrounded by water. The house does impress when you first walk in but does down hill quickly after that. Light at the front door hanging by the wires is a fire hazard!! The overall the house was dirty and pots and pans were unusable. There is no basketball court I don't know why they even say there is one. Windows don't lock, foosball table is falling apart. Beds are almost on the floor. The write up says: Bedroom 1 sleeps 4 - 1 queen bed 1 double futon Bedroom 2 sleeps 3 - 1 queen bed and 1 twin trundle bed Bedroom 3 sleeps 6 - 2 lower & 4 twin upper bunk beds Other 1 sleeps 1 - 1 twin sofa bed The Other is located in the garage and it is not air conditioned; there is a little machine so it does help. Bedroom 3 does NOT have a door and the bunk beds are all wobblily. Some of the bars are bent up. I don't believe the queen beds are true queens they seem smaller and are almost on the floor. The drive needs to be better marked and maybe even lit. Over all this place is dirty and doesn't live up to their write up. Sad because we would love to be able to rent this location more often so we can easily visit with family and be able to enjoy the area.

The town of Milford does not have much to do, but just a 15...

The town of Milford does not have much to do, but just a 15 minutes drive to DuPont Nature Center for beautiful Mispillion Harbor view for the strawberry moon rise, and a 15 minutes drive to Slaughter Beach to watch horseshoes crabs. 30 minutes drive to Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge, 40 minutes drive to Cape Henlopen State Park and Delaware Seashore State Park. Those are my favorites of Milford. The staying in The Towers was perfect after a busy traveling day. The hospitality from the owner Dan & Rhonda would be unforgettable, plus the gorgeous decorations inside & outside, and the delicious breakfasts. We will definitively return for the next visit.

The beach was not crowded like neighboring beaches.

The beach was not crowded like neighboring beaches. After going in several shops, I realized that the people there were unusually helpful. There was lots of shopping - outlets, boutiques and even Walmart. Nick’s mini golf ( behind Walmart) was a treat especially for dinasour lovers - it was a hot day - they sold water ice at the end and that was also a welcome treat.

Our stay was closer to Odessa but, in general, the area is a good location for stopping to rest or stretch legs before getting into Wilmington and thence to accessing NJ or PA. The area is likely an exurb of Wilmington and appears to have a lot of commuter residential developments. That being said, Odessa especially has a historic district where homes dating back to the 18th and 19th century are still present and used as housing.
