Where do I start - from the very second you step into this hotel - everything’s immaculate. From the lobby, to the bar, to the paintings and artwork on display; every detail and color scheme has been thought out - everything’s so put together and complimentary - as a whole, this hotel is visually stunning. Love the cloth/thread inspired art piece in the lobby, inspired by South Carolina’s past. The check-in process was a breeze - the guy at the counter was so nice, friendly and easy to talk to. Housekeeping was so helpful, I needed more towels, and hey presto, in 2 seconds, I got everything I needed. The decor in the room is mind-blowing - super chic, calm colors, and lots of sockets all over. The height of the bed was just right. Pillows were exquisite, and the bolsters were great to sleep & cuddle with. I could stay here for a month, ha! Looking forward to coming back! 😁

We were there for a basketball tournament that was close by...

We were there for a basketball tournament that was close by so only stayed one night. Had dinner at San Jose Mexican Restaurant but I must say I wouldn't recommend it although they were very busy. We also checked The Villages at Springhill which was a shopping area but there was a lot of closed buildings in there that had been condemned because of structural and mold issues. There were still stores and restaurants in there that were open. We had lunch at The Tap House that was very good.

Older town has most of what you need.

Older town has most of what you need. Located near bigger areas so travel was 15 mins to most things. Nice to be out of the crazy Cloumbia traffic but close enough to enjoy shopping and venues Cloumbia.

People were pleasant and helpful!

People were pleasant and helpful! Visit a USC basketball or USC football game for superb entertainment! The fans are very loyal, almost as loyal as UK basketball fans from Kentucky! SEC is the most entertaining league in college sports bar none!

Before checking in 8/3 Booking.com did not respond to my many requests to cancel day 8/5 and refund me my money. We checked out 5AM 8/4 still no response from Booking.com regarding my refund! Cayce's walkways are filthy and stained, The ice machine in the check in office had dirt and what seems to be liquid mold growing in it, The pillowcases were clean. however, the stench from the pillow themselves was unbearable, terrible stench, I requested two additional towels from the front desk and was refused. Two towels haw to do for my son, two grandsons and I. We found toilet tissue that was enough for one use.

The area where the hotel was seemed kind of ghetto. I saw a lot of loud drunks around. But I was there for my son's graduation at Fort Jackson so I really didn't have to deal with those people .

Good location if one is visiting Congaree Natl Park, which...

Good location if one is visiting Congaree Natl Park, which is an excellent stop even for a short time. Gas and food options are good in immediate vicinity of the intersection of I-26. Traffic through Columbia can be brutal so if you're traveling east-to-west and staying overnight it might be better to get a place on the west side of the city. For some reason the prices of all lodging in and around Columbia seem inflated for what you get... even on the discount sites.
