Amazing hotel, in my opinion superior other hotels in this area of Chicago which I happen to have stayed in over the last 10+ years. Spacious, modern, well equipped, bright rooms, very friendly staff, especially Mr Pablo, director of rooms, very customer focused, has made our stay extremely pleasant. My e-mail said we had reservations at Rosemont, but our hotel was actually the Cumberland. Could have been much better direction to the hotel. I believe that's on Booking.com which I will most likely never use again. It caused a lot of problems. The hotel at Rosemont seemed nice. The one on Cumberland, where we eventually had to go, was not so nice. A very worn out hotel.

Go out of your way to stay somewhere else in Schaumburg. Five days and nights and not once was the room refreshed with fresh towels, toilet paper, tissues or trash being removed. The refrigerator did not keep anything put in it cold. Getting into and out of the bed was difficult as the extra thick mattress on a box spring on a bed frame made the bed height too tall for easy entry and exit.

I liked the cleanliness of the room and bathroom, the location, room views I request improvement on customer service aspect. For an international guest, it is scary enough to be in a new country. Most staff were very helpful especially those doing cleaning services, those serving at the restaurant. A few front office staff could do better

Breakfast was decent.

Breakfast was decent. Towels and sheets were dirty, old and stained with blood which was very much a turn off for me. The front desk should have shown more concern. Instead I got a shoulder shrug and was simply told that's a housekeeping issue. For these reasons, I would not stay there again or recommend staying there.

Des Plaines is cozy, comfy and pretty quiet.

Des Plaines is cozy, comfy and pretty quiet. We really enjoyed the variety of food and shopping in the area and the neighborhoods were so quaint and beautiful. You are just a hop, skip and jump from the airport and just a little traffic jams away from the hustle and bustle of Chicago.

Naperville is a huge town with so much to do.

Naperville is a huge town with so much to do. If you go to downtown Naperville near the riverwalk, there are shops, restaurants, a walking trail, and often free concerts and other events going on. If you're there in the summer, they have Centennial Beach too. I would definitely recommend downtown Naperville and the riverwalk area to anyone visiting Naperville.

The hotel was easy to find, however there wasn't much directly around it. We had to drive a bit to get to shopping/ restaurants. A great place to eat was The Wheel Restaurant. It's located close to Chicago and near the Lake.

There is someone at the front desk 24/7.

There is someone at the front desk 24/7. There may be no convenience store nearby but they do have water, soda and chips for sale for a reasonable price. There’s also a microwave in the lobby that you can use. The staff were nice too and told that I could have more coffee if I wanted.

This is my first visit to Arlington Heights. I like to stay here when I stay local near but not in Chicago; just personal preference. Clean, convenient service stations and accessibility to the non toll highways we needed to travel.
