I highly recommend the Inn at the Cove if you're doing the Pacific Coast Highway and looking for a stop before LA. The natural surroundings are stunning, with a private rocky beach to explore and plenty of wildlife, including beautiful birds. It's incredibly relaxing! The pool and jacuzzi were great, and breakfast was plentiful—just what you need to start the day. Nearby, there's an In-N-Out and Walmart, which made meals and shopping super convenient. The town itself is charming, and everything about our stay was perfect. The room was spacious and comfortable.

I loved all the staff, starting when we arrived. The valet service was friendly and help with our bags, always one step ahead in providing assistance. I have to use a wheel chair, they help my wife take it down from the truck, very helpful. The staff in the registration desk, also very accommodating, since we arrived earlier then the checking in time, they allowed to check in to the room, since it was my 1st visit, I did not pay any extra fees Cheyenne was very helpful and very concerned and made us feel very important. I thank all the of the staff at Chumash Hotel and resort.

Exceptional property at a lovely, laid back beach town. The staff were the friendliest and most helpful that we encountered in California. We loved that we could borrow beach chairs and equipment and our kids loved the pool. It was the perfect place for some R&R on our road trip. The rooms were big and comfortable and I would highly recommend going for a sea view suite. The quality of the food at breakfast was also very high. The range on offer was a bit more limited than at some of the other hotels we stayed at but that was no problem for us.

Room was lovely with two big beds and a TV. Tea and coffee making facilities, a desk and plenty extra space. Bathroom was really elegant and well equipped with lots of towels (including pool towels) and bathrobes. The pool was open, but we didn't go in due to the rain. The restaurant and bar nearby was really nice, and there is a short path to the beach walk where you can look at the ocean. Staff were really lovely on arrival. Parking was included at no extra cost.

The ocean front family suite we stayed was exceptional with spectacular views. The morning walk down to the beach was great. The breakfast was adequate with reasonable spread. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. The service was great. We did not know how to adjust or control the shower. They immediately sent a technician who explained us how to use.

Neat little beach town with the best restaurant's most fabulous treats and sweets and nostalgic beauty. Tomascos has the best cookies and brownies in life.Cool cats offers an amazing burgers and of course Pizmo cafe has amazing Pizza and the best chicken wings ever? their pasta is pretty freaking good also. Hoagies is a staple if you want the best pismer wrap and tritip youve ever had.And please check out Sea venture restaurant. They have the most amazing 22 ounce steak for dinner and their breakfast is fabulous. ATVS on the dunes is always a good time and we love whale watching there. Pismo is all around fabulous. Most of the hotels have amazing views and sit in picturesque Cliffs and all of them offer really great pools.

After being here for a weekend trip, I feel very relaxed and happy. It was definetly a place to unwind and also explore. The views were beautiful. The air was so clean and fresh by the beach. We walked with our dog for hours not even realizing how far we've been going because it was such a fun place to explore. After leaving here I hope to keep the momentum of going on such nice long walks with our pup. It's definetly a place that makes you want to be healthy, and want to be outside more. I'd definetly recomend if you want a place to motivate you to get out there and see nature.

What a great small city, beautiful beautiful place and peaceful I’d live there in a heartbeat if I could You will breathe fresh air which is a huge bonus from where I come from! Just down the street is the infamous Solvang, which is a great place to shop and has lots of yummy places to eat. I like to go down and stroll the shops and hit up a pub and have a hamburger and a beer or a glass of wine. One thing I really like about Buellton, is Solvang is literally less than five minutes down the road. Such an amazing and fun little town! This is where I’m going to come shopping for Christmas presents because the shops there are amazing. You can find something for everyone, even on a budget. There is a trolly too! Wine tasting is so much fun! The candy shops are yummy too!

Beautiful town. Lovely people. Amazing shops and restaurants downtown. Gorgeous winding roads through farms and vineyards. Plenty of wineries and some distilleries. Close to interesting and beautiful coastal cities with charming downtown areas. Close to San Luis Obispo for bigger events and city activities. I was downtown for Halloween and it was like something out of a Hallmark movie. An adorable, small town vibe! Highly recommend.

I was born and raised in Lompoc, graduated from LUHS in 1962. Obviously, the town has changed a great deal since then. I've attended a few of my high school reunions. I remember when the Lompoc Inn and Suites was a new venue. I miss the acres and acres and acres of flower fields, although there are still some.
