It was lovely to stay at Murchison Palace. The view is stunning! And the room had a great vibe, open windowdoors to the Nile view, a great bathroom a comfortable beds. There is a lovely personal touch to your stay by the staff, and they make you great food and we got a delicious welcome cocktail upon arriving! Thank you so much! We really loved our stay with you!! Until next time!

The location of this camp is brilliant, close to the Murchison Falls and far from any other tourist lodges. Only accessible by boat (with great game and bird viewing on the one hour journey) makes it even more special. The walk to the top of the Falls ends in a view that cannot be bettered. The staff are fantastic, food is excellent, luxury tents are well appointed and the overall experience really makes this place a gem.

Ever so helpful staff, tasty and over abundant meals, comfortable restaurant, nice pool, camp fire, large garden space, very comfortable and large tents on raised wooden platform. Very wide front porch to sit and enjoy the scenery. The gardens are lit by solar lights in the night. Solar heated hot water in the attached bathroom. They prepared our packed meals to help us leave for early morning game drive. They even provided a hot water flask with cups and all the tea/ coffee stuff.

The view of the Albert Nile, the wandering elephants so close you could almost touch them, the culture, the smiling people, the beauty and the nature. Cherry on top of the cake, the closeness of the Murchison Falls National Park and all the activities one can indulge in.

On the eastern side of the Nile, this provides tou with fast and close access to the bridge on an excellent new road. The staff were so kind and helpful. I couldn’t believe the quality of the stay for the price! It’s an excellent stay over when you have a modest budget. This will be my choice of accommodation for Murchison now onwards…and I’ve tried many! We also loved the bird life!

Amazing park with many animals, fantastic waterfalls and river cruise! Not to be missed if you are in Uganda. The river cruise on a smaller boat was incredible! Saw so many animals and the boat can get up close up and personal!

Location good Rooms good

Location good Rooms good Restaurant pathetic: yesterday we ordered food for 3 people (1 pizza, 1 fish to be shared by two) at 17:30, for 18:45, to eat before the lakeflies come and as long as we still see what we eat. The fourth person came at 18:30h and wanted pizza, there was no more pizza as there was no more cheese. The fourth order, fried chicken and fries, came first, the pizza second, around 19:15h and the fish at 19:30h, 45 minutes late (having ordered two hours prior). Turned out parts of the pizza was BLACK on the bottom, like charcoal. When the waitress was asked what she would do about it, she just looked like a deer in high beams. I asked her to take the charcoal to the kitchen, nothing ever came back. When I asked her today, she told me ‚it was a mistake‘. Pathetic. Both the waitress and the chef who react like that should be fired on the spot. For breakfast, one of the dishes were poached eggs. They were hard boiled. We were just told there is still no pizza, because they failed to buy cheese, at 17:30 pm. Just pathetic.

This park has a plenty of wild animals, for sure much more than Queen Elizabeth National park. I would suggest to go with Ranger from the park, cost 20$. I would suggest to offer money to the ranger before the Game drive, so your probability to see big rare animals, will be increased.
