I absolutely loved my stay here! From the moment I checked in, I felt welcomed and well cared for. The staff are genuinely kind, helpful, and always ready with a smile. The place is in a nature habitat and so you enjoy the sea going back and forth. Beautiful view. I've been in many places but the beach is withe water transparant blue similar to the maldives. I enjoyed everything and everyone working there. My biggest compliments to you all thank you.

Location: Perfecto If you want a central place but not directly on the busy main however a 10-15 mins walk to the main nwngwi beach then look no more ! Amazing views from the balcony and the sound of the soothing waves at night ♥️🌊 Facility: 100/10 Clean , organized, authentic , everything you need is there with the best quality Kettle , fridge , toiletries,safe, everything you think you need Food: Breakfast was 💯💯 full of variety and tasty Beautiful fresh and cool fresh plate of fruits before your food And a different layout for the breakfast plate every morning full of fresh and tasty food Did not feel bored as we were surprised everyday with something different Big portion I was normally full till the evening for dinner ! Amazing restaurant Staff: 100000/10 Having been to many hotels in different countries I can confidently say .. this feels like home, they feel like family and I felt like ROYALTY 👸 Attentive to you at all times, they are there before you ask, literally a thought away 💭 Always smiling and cheerful We stayed there for our honeymoon and my oh my were we pampered. From the first moment we entered Zuri it was perfect. This hotel guarantees perfect relaxation and high quality service from A to Z. We were really charmed by the place. Whether it was the spacious and stylish rooms, the highly professional staff, the high class gastronomy to the point of I would say fine dining cuisine or the private beach right by the Indian Ocean or the swimming pool where one could perfectly relax at any time of the day. There is really nothing in Zuri that is not an experience. If one has the opportunity to come to this hotel one should definitely do it because you will not find a better hotel in Zanzibar, and I dare say not even far and wide.

A really nice hotel with beautiful beach. The hotel has always activities, but they organize you as well everything very flexibel. The Hotel size is smaller than some neighboring hotels, but has a large garden, two pools, so you never feel it crowded, it has a very familiar atmosphere. The staff is amaizing! They are not only polite and friendly, but they come to you also to have company if they see that you are alone, or only to chat, or play table tennis. Herieth was also very helpful, and cared a lot about the guests, and always made sure they felt good.

The Zumba lecture with Lukman was great - should be announced more, we found the only announcement in the daily plan in our room. We liked the cocktail menu in the beach bar.

Beautiful beach with a decent selection of restaurants and bars. I loved the Fish Market restaurant and kept going back. Amazing blue sea, powder soft sand and great location for sunset. As a female solo traveller I didn’t like constant hassle from men dressed as Masai.

Kiwengwa is an amazing place , only annoying this is the amount of African people that hassle you on the beach - men dressed as masi that are not from the the masi Maru tribe ( pretending they are ) and annoying you when you trying to enjoy a peaceful walk it is over bearing and no one wants that on their holiday - was most beaches in Zanzibar !!

Matemwe is a perfect destination for anyone who wants peace and quiet, but still has access to great activities. You can easily arrange dolphin watching and swimming tours – look for Captain Lucho, he helped us with everything and made the experience amazing. A beautiful and relaxing place to stay!

Kendwa beach was definitely the best beach compared to...

Kendwa beach was definitely the best beach compared to Nungwi, especially the south part. Even in low tide it was easy to take a swim. Also the beach here is wider and feel less crowded. As on the complete stretch there were many people trying to sell you stuff but on the south part not so many ”permanent” sales people other than the ones having sheds. The Maasai roaming around are friendly but just say no with a smile and most will not be persistent in their effort to sell you something..

This is not a touristy location... it is off the beaten track... a village, by the sea, with an increasing number of resorts being added. I hope it does not lose its charm to the crowds. This is a quiet, special place.

I loved that it was a proper reflection of the Island in that you took home the beauty of the place and kindness of the people. It was not loud or noisy and had very few touristy hotels and vendors hassling you
