It was a great experience staying in Tikibeach resort.To start with the hotel setting, it was perfect, next to the beach,the pool next to beach was perfect. Rooms are massive and clean, and bathrooms were neat.They take good care of hygiene, which is really good. Staff members were super kind and always ready to help. Need to mention the names like Ramazan,Bhutan, and Salehi. Overall, the stay there was great. If I get a chance, I would definitely come and see them again in Zanzibar. Good job done by all serving members.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Oasis Residence in Jambiani, and the experience was absolutely amazing! The hotel is newly opened, extremely modern, and very well maintained. The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable, with impeccable cleanliness. The property features two modern pools surrounded by numerous palm trees and lush vegetation, creating a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. The hotel’s restaurant serves delicious food, and the staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. Additionally, the owners of this wonderful place are exceptionally hospitable and dedicated, making the experience even more special. Everything at The Oasis Residence offers a unique vibe that is hard to find elsewhere. I highly recommend everyone to book a stay here without hesitation when planning a trip to Zanzibar.

Id Like to thank all the staff for an absolutely memorable stay :) Amani,Abdullah, Mushraf and Israel were providing top tier service during the stay. They deserve a big pay rise and they are an asset to the team. Also would like to thank the ladies. Khadogo for the kindness she showed us aswell as Baby, Asha and Katherine. Absolutely amazing people. Take care of them ! The resort is 10/10. Been all over Europe and Arabia but this one felt special. Everything you need the team are more than happy to accommodate your needs. The pool area is great for relaxing. They are always happy to take you to the beach with the buggy (alternatively you can walk five minutes). The food is unreal. The breakfast is very tasty and so fresh ! The lunch and dinner menu is amazing too. The Grilled Chicken was 10/10. The chef came out and introduced herself to us. I forgot her name. Please forgive me. Amazing food Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The outdoor shower was a vibe and a very cool feature. 24/7 Security so you felt safe all the time. Convenience store across the road. Currency exchange down the road. Highly Recommend Samawa Living. Not going to get this quality in many places these days.

My experience at the Garten Living was fantastic. The Garten is a calm oasis on the main road of Paje, 5 minutes walk from the beach, with a beautiful garden where to unwind in the morning and evening. Louay, the owner, was very kind and approachable and helped me organise some tours and a driver. The room and private bathroom were clean and well ventilated and the staff was so corteous.

Spacious and clean rooms with great sea view. Helpful and hospitable staff and owners. Good, well-maintained facilities and a lovely pool. Breakfast is 'a la carte', starting with a fruit platter and continuing with a great variety of options. There was no restriction - you could order everything you liked from the menu. Hotel was very helpful in arranging our transportation to/from Zanzibar ferry terminal (it is strongly recommended to book a taxi through the hotel, as it is much cheaper and safer than any 'driver' approaching you outside the ferry). The hotel also arranged for us a visit to the Blue Lagoon (again at a much lower price that what tourists could find on their own), where we had a chance to see the spectacular coral reef and its exotic marine species. One of the greatest assets of the hotel is its location right on the beautiful Paje beach, ideal for relaxation, jogging or water sports. (First-time visitors are advised not to pay too much attention to locals trying to sell you stuff, as they will not leave you alone until you buy something from them - usually overpriced at 'tourist rates'.) Around the hotel there is a local market, where you can buy spices, local handicraft and other goods. For handicraft, be prepared to negotiate hard, as the initial quoted prices are quite high.

We loved our stay! The hotel is beautiful.. the pool and beach just a few steps away were the highlight of the hotel. Really nice staff and hotel grounds. The location is perfect! one of the most beautiful beach areas in jambiani, calm and clean.. there was barely any seaweed in front. The locals are super friendly. Breakfast is nice, with a buffet and some a la carte options. Stayed for 6 nights and loved everybit. Price is very fair. The food at the restaurant is also really nice. Overall, great stay. definetly one of the nicest hotels in the area, not too big or small.. just right. Definetly recommend stayin in Jambiani, much more relaxing and just a 10 minute drive from Paje but you still have enough restaurants in Jambiani. Overall 10/10 recommend The Loop. P.S: Special thanks to Makame Coco (local guy that does boat tours for The Loop.. you might see him climbing some coconut trees). We had the best private tour with him, took us to see the most incredible starfish with the best postive vibes, MUST DO. Very grateful for this trip and place!

Top Location, great staff! We went around and couldnt wait to come "home" to our lodge. Great breakfast, great food at their restaurant. Kids loved the pool, we chilled there every day waiting for sea to come back! Trips around with the boat were unforgettable! The owner is this great guy that is there to help! It was just great!. We had concerns about the fact that the lodge is in the middle of the jungle... witch it is... but that is the beauty of it. You have 2 resident monkeys there, a lot of dogs, birds, geckos (great screams from my wife but they are harmless and after couple of days they were her friends)... About the dogs. I am not a dog person, I am afraid of them actually... but those guys there were like family to them and after 2 days also ours! I have been around a lot and must say that this trip to zanzibar in THIS LODGE in "winter" (we were there in end of FEB) is the unforgettable one!

Imagine being able to just leave your phone and cash by the beach to go for a swim without fear of them being stolen. As a woman, never have I ever felt so safe and respected by men. The staff were very helpful and kind to every encounter. We had a delay at the airport and flight issues, but the staff were so patient and reassuring. They assisted us in getting food in the middle of the night. We really enjoyed the stay and felt very welcomed. I highly recommend the place.

Jambiani Beach is one of the most beautiful and authentic beaches in Zanzibar. Long stretches of soft white sand, calm turquoise waters, and a peaceful rhythm shaped by the tides create a place that feels untouched and timeless. Life here moves slowly — fishermen at dawn, women collecting seaweed, gentle evenings painted by the sunset. It is quiet, spacious, and deeply relaxing, yet full of character and soul. Perfect for long walks, swimming at high tide, and simply being present. Jambiani is not about crowds or noise — it is about beauty, simplicity, and harmony with nature. A beach that stays with you long after you leave.

This is not a touristy location... it is off the beaten...

This is not a touristy location... it is off the beaten track... a village, by the sea, with an increasing number of resorts being added. I hope it does not lose its charm to the crowds. This is a quiet, special place.

I loved that it was a proper reflection of the Island in that you took home the beauty of the place and kindness of the people. It was not loud or noisy and had very few touristy hotels and vendors hassling you

Beautiful beach, warm and calm ocean to swim in. Lots of eating options, amazing people. Yes, there are people trying to sell you things on the beach - but was quieter than other beaches (Like Paje) and they are all respectful.

This place is a gem!

This place is a gem! A new hotel with a big heart, right by the ocean, surrounded by peaceful gardens and a stunning pool. The rooms are spacious and stylish, the breakfast is fresh and delicious, and very friendly staff. The connection to the hospitality school is inspiring—it's not just a great stay, it’s also supporting something meaningful.. It’s rare to find a place that feels this good in every way. The beach is beautiful and the water very warm.

The beach is beautiful and the water very warm. Because of the strong tides there's only water in the morning and the afternoon but it makes the beach very interesting and beautiful and gives the oportunity to walk far out and find seashells and starfish. The only downside to the beach is the many very insisting sellers who make it impossible to go for a walk without being approached.

A peaceful and welcoming town with a strong sense of community and a safe, relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in a peaceful part of town, where there were noticeably fewer street vendors selling beads and souvenirs compared to other areas. This made the atmosphere even more calm and relaxing, allowing us to fully enjoy the local charm without feeling overwhelmed.

Just up the beach from Paje town, a little quieter but thats...

Just up the beach from Paje town, a little quieter but thats what was nice. Wandered to different restaurants along the beach for lunch and dinner. Limited during off season but enough open. We came via Dar Es Salaam airport and ferry. If you can't get an e-visa before arrival, plan 2hrs to exit the airport. We missed our booked ferry and had to pay again for the last ferry on a different company. Used Zanzibar Quest to book the ferry and transport with exemplary service and support via whatsapp and email. The new travel insurance requirement $50p/p on top of the $50p/p visa fee is a scam that mars the experience. The amount of times we had to show our passport and visa / travel insurance was reminiscent of the cold war. Inefficient and overboard. So if you can fly direct to Zanzibar and use e-visa or have patience and a loose schedule. The drive to the Page beach area took about 1 ½ hrs with the first ⅓ taking ¾ of the time with a typical african road experience. Get a good driver. Driving licenses are issued by testing payment of fee. The driver booked by Zanzibar Quest was excellent. Great beach, wind was consistent during the afternoon to either kite or cool down. Bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent. Not a fan of the immigration process or the fees.

Paradise …Jim’s, Salim, Irene and Juliane were exceptional...

Paradise …Jim’s, Salim, Irene and Juliane were exceptional always ready to help. They just couldn’t do enough for you. The reception staff especially Yusef were very accommodating especially as we arrived very early from Dar-es-Salam! They let us drop our bags and enjoy all the facilities until our room was ready! We had a wonderful stay in Paradise.
