if you're looking for a very comfortable hostel, this is it!! the bunk beds (12 people) were very comfortable, everyone has a shelf next to their bed box as well as a locker (big suitcases won't fit). you might think it gets very noisy in such a big dorm, but it was fine!! the shared bathrooms were clean and nice too, i looked forward to showering there after a sweaty day haha. despite every facility being a shared space, you have lots of privacy. the community room (?) was really comfortable and spacious with sofas and fatboys and a kitchen, it's great for working from there. there's a terrace too which i recommend spending time at at night! and lastly, the breakfast/restaurant was amazing, you can choose from a menu every morning and they will prepare a delicious meal for you. all in all felt like a pretty luxurious hostel :) would come back

The staff were very friendly upon arrival and for the duration of our stay. The room was very well equipped with all amenities you could think of. Balcony was a bonus! The bed was extremely comfortable, and the aircon was on point. Cantonese restaurant was good, although a few dishes were forgotten about, but the male waiter was very young and apologised for his mistake. Food was tasty and decent portions, although a little pricey.

The breakfast came as a buffet breakfast and offered a broad choice between western and asian cuisine. The room was very spacious. They offered a can and a machine for filtered water and ice cubes was available on the floor. A large desktop was available for working. One of the best hotels during my stays in Taiwan. Absolutely recommendable.

We have a room on the 11th floor with a front view of the city. The place is clean and comfortable. Walking distance to some of the attractions we have visited. Amazing selection of food for breakfast is a great plus. Will definitely stay here again if I ever come back to the city.

As a foreign tourist, too much food to try but not as much...

As a foreign tourist, too much food to try but not as much attractions to go that you can stay long enough to try all the food haha.. so, positive side, if you are a true foodie, you will probably return again to try out other food and might need to revisit some attractions or dive deeper and look for hidden attractions. I stayed for 5D5N which i was in fact told by locals who i met that this is one of the longest stay they heard. They recommend 4D3N or in fact 3D2N is suffice, for attractions wise. A pleasant place to stroll around by foot, which i did.. I spent hours a day walking along the streets to see various historical sites which are not too far away from each other. Gotta mention the locals are nice and courteous, enjoyed my time there.

Went to Anping Tree house, but it was closed due t Bee hives issue; Was able to tour "赤坎楼“， learned a bit of history. I hired a local taxi driver, and I have the freedom to visit wherever I want at my own time. from sightseeing at the " Little Amazon "(四草），salt field to local street food like beef soup ,etc...

A vibrant city with a very youthful energy. We found Tainan to be full of rich cultural and historical opportunities and enjoyed visiting Anping, Tainan Fine Art Museum, the Literature Museum, Confucius Temple, and Chi Mei Museum. We also found the cafe and coffee culture in the city to be some of the best we’ve found in Taiwan so far. There also seemed to always be something happening in the streets! We visited over Thu-Sun and saw a variety of trinket markets, night markets, Retrocession Day celebrations and even a halloween market! As with the rest of the country, all of the people are so kind and the food is delicious! We also found public transport to be very easy to navigate in Tainan, as well as time efficient. We will definitely be back!
