There was a thunderstorm while I was staying there and I can not word my feelings for the views I had from my bungalow balcony. Perhaps one of the most amazing experiences of my life. This little resort is the best resort for me and I will keep on visiting this place.

The property was spotlessly clean! Everything was new and sparkling. The hotel is newly opened hence everything felt fresh & neat. Rooms are spacious, bed is very comfortable. It has all the essentials needed for basic cooking. View from the hotel room is beautiful. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff is well trained and they do an amazing job. Bathroom is well equipped with good quality toileterries and towels.

A wonderful hotel in a wonderful location. We stayed there at the end of November — the room was well heated, we even had to open the windows at times. The room was very clean, with crisp, snow-white linens and towels. The view from the window was breathtaking, overlooking the mountains. You can always order food at the hotel’s little restaurant, and they will cook it for you. Breakfasts in the morning are quite good as well. A special bonus of staying at this hotel is meeting two remarkable characters — a chubby dog named Neriman and a cat named Muhetdin. They will literally run to you the moment you step out of the car and shower you with affection. Be sure to walk down from the hotel to the river; Neriman will definitely join you and try to impress you by chasing the occasional passing car.

Staff was super supportive. Mr. Ali ( intern - Yemeni ) made the stay even more amazing. Fully extended his support to whatever we needed. Kept giving chocolates to my son once he would eat proper meal. Now my son remembers this hotel and Mr. Ali's name. Along with him was the owner Mr. Ismail (turkish) - also very supportive. As per booking.com, it shows 2 stars, but it deserves mininum of 3-4 stars. Food wise, their hamburger is very juicy and delicious.

The Sumela Monastery is a must see.

The Sumela Monastery is a must see. But the bonus is the breathtaking views on the drive up to the Monastry. Nearby Rize and the tea farm is beautiful. But the peace de resistance has to be Ayder. Like the Swiss Alps with its unique Turkish culture. The views is not to be missed. The snow capped mountains with its mountain streams and the “Devil river” used for Riverafting. Lots of construction on the roads, building more tunnels. The construction of the houses, apartments along the mountain slopes, is Engineering perfection.

The scenery surrounding the lake is breathtaking.

The scenery surrounding the lake is breathtaking. Lots of facilities around to keep children entertained. But not a lot to do. So one day stay is adequate Do not miss a visit to the mosque. There is lots of construction underway to improve the roads.

For any families with children, visiting Trabzon and want to...

For any families with children, visiting Trabzon and want to be close to the airport, but still close to the market and downtown, this is your perfect place. We got in late and didn’t try, but you might even walk the market from here- thats how close it was. The apartment was extremely clean, spacious, and comfortable and all the amenities were available. The host greeted us promptly and was really helpful.

Even in winter, the views were breathtaking.

Even in winter, the views were breathtaking. We enjoyed the lush greenery in the evenings, and were surprised by a light snowfall overnight, waking up to a stunning winter wonderland. The scenery was truly picturesque throughout the area. It is not hard to rent a simple small car and drive up here. (Some of the road might have ongoing construction though) While the food options were a bit pricey (as expected in a popular tourist destination), it was a minor drawback. I would definitely love to return and spend more time in this beautiful location.

Beautiful & calm place to enjoy scenery, great weather & amazing hiking! Would definitely recommend the hike up to see the lake from above the forest. Spent three days here as a family & would really recommend it for families & their children.
