Great location, great staff and the buffet was the best part. It didn't have a lot of options but the items there were delicious and the lady preparing the buffet was very polite and helpful. We arrived early and tired and it wasn't checkout time so the receptionist arranged us a free buffet for that morning The receptionist was really great to talk to as well and handled our Airport transfers. Even though the Airport transfer was early in the morning, one of the boys went to the shops early and got us breakfast because they knew we'll miss the buffet that day. The room was big and cosy, and we could see Hot Air Balloons from our window!

We had a delightful 4-night stay at this beautiful hotel in Cappadocia. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They enthusiastically answered all my questions! I booked a hot air balloon ride with Butterfly through the hotel—it was a 16-person basket, and the experience was amazing! The hotel handled all the communication with the balloon company and even helped me book in advance. I only had to pay on-site, which made the whole process super simple and reassuring. I'm really grateful to the hotel for arranging the hot air balloon ride! I also wanted to drive myself to watch the balloons, and the staff kindly recommended the best spots for viewing. In addition, I booked a sunset horseback riding tour through the hotel. Riding through the valley was absolutely incredible—such a great experience! The best part is that you can book this activity through the hotel anytime before noon on the same day, which is very flexible. Just a heads-up: the horseback riding activity now only accepts cash in euros.

Everything about my stay at Sultan was excellent. The breakfast had a good selection buffet, the rooms were cozy and warm, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the best part was the rooftop terrace which we were able to enjoy in the morning and during sunset time for a drink. I had booked this property after seeing so many instagram reels about the hot air balloons flying over the hotel’s rooftop but unfortunately, during my stay, the weather conditions did not allow for them to take off the entire week. Felt a bit gutted but again, I got to fully enjoy the hotel and its facilities. Guests at Sultan are allowed to use the swimming pool at the adjacent hotel which is a partner hotel but I didn’t do it - I visited in November and the weather was cold. As Sultan is located on the hilltop, we get amazing views over Göreme. The center is also a short walk away (about 9 min). You should visit!

It's an amazing property with extremely helpful and jovial staff. Rooms are well equipped and present you with a unique blend of modern amenities with cave enclaves, break fast spread was quite excellent, with most of the stuff freshly baked and cooked. The hotel and rooms are clean, staff is extremely helpful, and they ensure they go out of the way to make your stay a memorable one The hotel is peaceful and is slightly away from the main centre so you might find it difficult to venture out for dinner, alternatively dinner at the hotel is quite delicious and freshly made.. Mr.Burhan, at the reception services, is extremely helpful. He assisted us in booking a few of the tours at short notice.

Goreme Is one of the best place ive been too. Full Of history and character. Food are amazing . All The tour that we did and all transportation services are very professional and on time. We arrive around 11pm so we did not do any activities the next Day. We just enjoy the breakfast, scroll Downtown and sleepin (jet lag due to time difference) had a tour for 2 days. Free time 4th day and leave around 6pm The 5th day. Its long but relaxing. From Reva hotel About 5 minutes to downtown

There are some interesting historical areas and museums...

There are some interesting historical areas and museums around the citadel and some newer buildings such as the Opera House. However the city is very large, sprawling and modern with many tower blocks built in the last 20 or so years replacing some shanty towns especially on the way to the airport so choose your location to stay carefully on a map of the city!

This was a lovely city. there is so much to see especially if you are staying in the older part of the city. I loved walking around the city sightseeing. You would find the most unexpected shopping experience as well as cultural. The people are also nice here gives you a small town vibe.

Nice little town with loads of places to see but the theme is more or less the same, different shape stones in different places and valleys. The balloon experience, either in or off, is amazing to see.

Kayseri is a historical treasure.

Kayseri is a historical treasure. The historical museums are awesome, especially the new archaeology museum in the castle. It also has a lot of surviving Seljuk-Mongol buildings from the 13th and 14th century that are almost unique. It is often overlooked because Kappadokya is right next door, but it shouldn't be.

Eskisehir cam be called the Venice of Turkey. Beautiful canals with Gondolas, cafes and meyhanes along the banks, gorgeous romantic bridges....very charming. Eskisehir can also boast a spectacular old quarter, called the Odunpazari, with its antique atmosphere, world class museum of modern art, and its open air market. Transport is easy and efficient with its excellent tramway system. The new High Speed Railway makes it easy to get to from Istanbul, Izmir, and Ankara, as well as other places..Folk in Eskisehir are relaxed, helpful, friendly, and know that they are lucky! Urgup is small town but has a lot of very nice local...

Urgup is small town but has a lot of very nice local restaurants, no chains!! A number of small shops selling local produce and the usual souvenir shops. Is you want a lot of hustle and bustle choose somewhere else but if you want somewhere a little more chilled and authentic this is the place.

It is a lovely small town next to Goreme (famous for the hot air balloon rides and pointed rock structures) so its a short ride away with none of the hustle and bustle of a touristy town. It has many local restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, to eat at without breaking the bank. There is a promenade with on the river with jungle gyms and play areas for little kids. And fishing is also possible from the banks of the river.

Ortahisar is a beautiful little town.

Ortahisar is a beautiful little town. It’s quite quiet but a short taxi ride into slightly busier Goreme. I’m glad we stayed in Ortahisar though as it was much more relaxing and quaint. Hisarönü Restaurant was our favourite place to eat - fantastic food, lovely Cappadocian wine and shisha. We even got given a free slice of cake as it was the owners birthday. Highly recommend!
