I've been in most of the hotels in Douz, and in my opinion, this is the best one in town. The reception service was nice, the person behind the desk was chatty and funny. The room was neat and comfortable, with a nice pool view. The swimming pool is big enough and looks pretty.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Maison de Sable. The location is excellent for any excursion into the desert and we could even enjoy a breathtaking view of the dunes from our window. The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of local style. Mohamed - the host - is a wonderful person! He helped us arrange a one-day trip to the desert. Muhammed and Brigitte are great hosts. We loved to stay at their place. They helped us not only with recommendations for places to visit and eat but also made us feel at home. The apartment is spacious and clean, as clean as it gets with the sahara at the doorsteps, and we very much appreciated the nice pool in the yard.

Very nice and kind hosts. The hotel is very new, it opened last year. Everything is very clean, rooms have AC. The place consists of a big garden full of nice plants and fruits with little guest houses. The best part was that they accommodated to our vegan diet, the food was so good. In Tunisia, finding vegetarian/vegan food is an almost impossible task. At this place, they understood what vegan means and cooked us some great food.

Faima is a recently renovated villa in Douz, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The property has inner courtyard views.

This is a beautiful apartment in Douz. It is very spacious and it is nice and cosy. Extremely clean. Great comfort. Amazing host. Has everything you would need after a long drive here. If I came to Douz again, I would only stay here.
