Staff were great! Especially Ali - he welcomed us and made bread in the sand. It was cold at night but they provided enough blankets- the bed was comfortable too! Amazing experience :)

The hotel is very comfortable, staff were helpful, and it was the first and only place one could get by with a card, for which I was grateful. The pool is very nice, food was very tasty and varied. There are covered parking spaces, which was great. The bar was great, playing oldies music, we kinda got stuck in there for a while. One can book Sahara trips in the lobby.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Maison de Sable. The location is excellent for any excursion into the desert and we could even enjoy a breathtaking view of the dunes from our window. The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of local style. Mohamed - the host - is a wonderful person! He helped us arrange a one-day trip to the desert. We can’t wait to go back and we want to sincerely thank him for making our vacation memorable!

The best accommodation. Brigitte and Mohamed are just fantastic, kind, pleasant, very helpful and amazing. Met them and stayed in their super villa was so precious and rewarding. Just go there and you will experience the beauty!

Very nice and kind hosts. The hotel is very new, it opened last year. Everything is very clean, rooms have AC. The place consists of a big garden full of nice plants and fruits with little guest houses. The best part was that they accommodated to our vegan diet, the food was so good. In Tunisia, finding vegetarian/vegan food is an almost impossible task. At this place, they understood what vegan means and cooked us some great food.

Faima is a recently renovated villa in Douz, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The property has inner courtyard views.

Everything Great! The apartment is big, spacious, brand new, super equipped. Extremely clean. A great place. The owner is a woman with a huge heart, and with great patience. She does everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I add one last thing; I am usually a model guest, but this time I was unbearable: she was always friendly and understanding. Absolutely recommended.

We had an unbelievable stay at the campsite and couldn’t recommend it more. Beautiful dunes in the Sahara desert, authentic tents which were comfy and had electricity. Brilliant staff who put on an excellent evening with traditional music, dance, horse dancing and cooking. A campfire to sit and watch the stars. This was a truly unique stay that you must try! I would pay a lot more for this experience, it really exceeded expectations.

The owner of this place was the nicest most accommodating host in Tunisia. He quickly and easily helped us organise a camel tour in Douz at an amazing price. Breakfast was fresh and delicious too. The location is great, about a 10-15 minute walk from the town center. The owner also recommended a great restaurant in town. The room was simple and had everything we needed for a short stay. Internet standard for Tunisia.
