The rooms are amazing, the staff quick and attentive and made sure at all times that we were taken care of. SloveniaWe absolutely LOVED our stay here. The room was big with a nice view of the pool, the beach is beautiful with chairs and cabanas on the sand and in the shade. There’s a designated swim are in the sea where boats are not allowed. The staff was sooooo lovely. The breakfast was very tasty and a lot of choices - from fresh roti to noodle soup, curries and other local dishes plus all the western favourites. Next time on the island we’re definitely stay here again.

NorwayA really nice place, and staying here helps animals in need. You might be able to find slightly higher standard accommodation for the price, but I still think this is the best place to stay on the island. Waking up to a dog waiting by your door to be pet is a perfect way to start the day.
Walking distance from everything, and the nearby restaurants are much better than those on the main street. It's a lot quieter too. The location is perfect.

I was careful to book a bungalow with a sea view, it's a bit more expensive but it makes all the difference. There's nothing like waking up to the sunrise right in front of you and hearing the sound of the sea while you're sleeping or coming out to the balcony and seeing an incredible sea right there.
I loved the architecture of the resort and the overall good taste. The air conditioning is not needed because the fans do a good job, the hot water in the shower is not needed either because the days are very hot.
As for the lack of wi-fi in the rooms, it is easy to solve, buy a local SIM card. The restaurant is great and I ended up having many meals without having to leave the resort. The diving school is also top notch and I ended up doing two fantastic dives. From what I could see on my trips around the island, I can say that it is undoubtedly the most charming resort on the island and the best choice in terms of price and quality.

Our family absolutely loved this resort on our favourite island Lipe. This resort is terrific for families. Super clean abd large rooms. Our kids loved the enormous pool, which was nice and warm. The resort is beach front and we enjoyed many sunsets, whilst the kids played in the sand and swam. The 'Walking Street' is just a few minutes away, so the location is perfect. The staff were lovely and helpful and our children loved seeing the towel art that housekeeping left them each day. House keeping were great and very generous with towels. This side of the island has a lovely ambience and is protected from stingers. We suggest walking along to the other side of the beach to Sanom Beach. It's stunning, quiet and has no stingers there. It also a great spot for snorkelling. The hotel staff meet you at then port, take your luggage and walk you to the hotel lobby. We recommend for families.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and loved every moment of it. The resort's backyard beach, located on Sunrise Beach, was stunning – a real highlight of our visit. Its location couldn't be more perfect. The breakfast was not only delicious but also set the right tone for the day. While the on-site restaurant offered great dining experiences, it was a bit pricey. However, for those looking for more budget-friendly yet equally delightful options, there are several restaurants within walking distance (just a quick Google search away). The staff were the epitome of hospitality – friendly, helpful, and incredibly respectful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this resort and have no complaints whatsoever. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Adang is an absolutely wonderful hiding place that you would rather not reveal to others. You have an island almost all to yourself, beautiful coral protected by rangers. A real jungle all to yourself. Adang is nicely isolated from Koh Lipe, but with private boat transport to Koh Lipe when needed. But why go to Koh Lipe? Adang Island Resort is a very cosy place, everything works, the staff very friendly and service minded. And a fantastic Thai chef who can work magic with the food and prepare it very deliciously. Our hideaway.

Tucked up in the mountains, it overlooked the beautiful Pattaya beach with the longboats. The hammock and balcony was unlike any other honestly. One of the best part was you were close enough to walking street but far enough for peace and quiet. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, remembering little things about you and invested in your stay. The room itself was spacious, large bathroom with hot shower and AC worked well. We would love to come back again.

This resort is really beautiful. It is among palm trees, and you feel like you're on an island. The view of the sea is amazing. Breakfast was very good; you can choose 2 meals from the menu. Also, the employees were kind and nice. Our daughter was happy there. The sand on Pattaya beach is so soft and white, I think this beach is the nicest on the whole island.
I wish we could come back one day again.

Very beautiful island with stunning beaches and breathtaking...
Very beautiful island with stunning beaches and breathtaking views. Lot of local people and not so crowded in october compared to Phuket or other islands. However, it can be a bit dirty and old outside turistic areas. Overall a great way to see the beaches while also understanding the local life. Lots of restaurants and nice places on the walking street. The island is small and can be done by walking from almost any resort

A good place to relax and stop over before you go to Koh Lipe or Koh Adang. I would recommend Papaya Mom 2 Restaurant for delicious HALAL AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD. A visit by walking or jogging near the Mu Ko Phetra National Park during sunset was awesome and great view.

I don't remember the city of Satun...
I don't remember the city of Satun... There is the Province of Satun. However, the city of Pak Bara is worth visiting, especially the waterfront and the nice (slightly crowded) cafes. The nearby "Mu Ko Phetra National Park" deserves special attention with a long jetty enabling a trip to the time of dinosaurs.

I was here in low season so 60% of bars and stuff were either closed or empty. Doesn’t matter there’s lots of nature to discover for the adventurous at heart. Diving, koh Adang, fishing, kayaking, snorkeling and lazy walks followed by legit massage

I was there on business heading to Langkawi so only one...
I was there on business heading to Langkawi so only one night then the ferry the next day. With transport there is a lot to see in Satun. A quiet little backwater coastal town that has a ferry to Langkawi. If I had time I would do more exploring. I ate at the local shops a donut and a coffee. Main meal at my room as I brought it with me in my car fridge. I did go to a excellent coffee shop before checking into my room. Satun is developing but in not way touristic, No crowds

Koh Lipe is a tropical gem with stunning beaches, turquoise waters and a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for snorkeling, diving, and relaxing. However, there is noticeable plastic pollution, some roads are in very poor condition with deep potholes and puddles, and trash can be seen along certain areas. After about a week, you’ve pretty much seen the whole island, so it’s ideal for a short stay.
