Very clean. Daily room cleaning. Powerful hot shower. Right on the beach. We like that it was a short walk to the pier, but far enough to be very quiet. Neem and her team were great. She gave us lots of tips on place to eat and a free ride to the port when we left. Highly recommend staying here!

We were group of friends and couples and we all stay at this amazing small resort. It felt like private resort just for us.
The rooms were super clean, bedding and towels soft and smelling amazingly. The interior is very tasteful designed with a great sense for decoration and some practical solutions for storage.
They welcomed me warmly with a hand-written message and some traditional Thai sweets. It was a nice gesture.
We enjoyed in our rooms and also in the pool area, which was also very clean and well maintained. Beverages and snacks on the pool terrace were tasty and always provided.
Stuff was very professional and friendly, helping me with my luggage and taking care that we feel really welcomed in every moment.
Thank you very much for a great time, hopefully we will be back!

Travel
We were a group of 9 people and traveled by ferry from Langkawi. The staff at Salisa already messaged me even before we left Langkawi and told us that they would be waiting for us at the jetty. They were prompt at receiving us and our bags were efficiently transported back to the resort and the rooms were ready even though we arrived before check-in time.
Chalets
We took 3 different chalets, the Bungalow with Sea View, the Bungalow-Sea Breeze, and the Deluxe Double Room. The Deluxe Double room and Bungalow with Sea View were facing the beach while the Sea Breeze was slightly smaller and just behind the sea view. All rooms were clean and well-maintained.
Food
There is a restaurant right at the resort that serves excellent Thai seafood and there was a BBQ every night for three hours with the freshest seafood. You can also walk to the walking street which is only about 10 minutes and there are plenty of eateries and bars there as well.
View
The view from this resort is excellent and the beach is very clean as well. We also managed to watch the moonrise on the first day we were there.

Out of over 50 hotel reviews here on Booking so far, today is the first time I'm giving it a 10 and therefore full marks for a review. This extraordinary small hotel with incredibly hard-working and friendly staff gave us a truly dreamlike and unforgettable vacation. Each room is in its own bungalow, all of which have a balcony or terrace with a sea view. The rooms are simply and functionally furnished, but that was more than enough for us, because the big highlight of this resort is the coral reef and white sandy beach right on the doorstep. This beach is undoubtedly the most beautiful beach on the island, quiet and perfect for snorkeling and swimming. A big advantage is that there are no long-tail boats here, so peace and quiet is guaranteed. The hotel's restaurant is excellent with a wide selection of local and international dishes and drinks. It really was a perfect stay and we will be back!

Our family absolutely loved this resort on our favourite island Lipe. This resort is terrific for families. Super clean abd large rooms. Our kids loved the enormous pool, which was nice and warm. The resort is beach front and we enjoyed many sunsets, whilst the kids played in the sand and swam. The 'Walking Street' is just a few minutes away, so the location is perfect. The staff were lovely and helpful and our children loved seeing the towel art that housekeeping left them each day. House keeping were great and very generous with towels. This side of the island has a lovely ambience and is protected from stingers. We suggest walking along to the other side of the beach to Sanom Beach. It's stunning, quiet and has no stingers there. It also a great spot for snorkelling. The hotel staff meet you at then port, take your luggage and walk you to the hotel lobby. We recommend for families.

I have stayed at many hotels before and Akira totally blew us away. The staff were so friendly and helpful and always greeted us with a smile while passing by. We had the Pool Access room which was perfect for taking a swim while also having drinks on the balcony after the sun went down. The room is spacious with a huge bathroom that also had a tub. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of options. The best part was that there were different dishes every morning so we never got bored of eating the same food over and over again. We only ate at the hotel's restaurant on the first night, because the Walking Street is only 5 minutes walk away along the beach with many options of Thai and Western restaurants. I would most definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodation on the beautiful island of Koh Lipe.

Beautiful resort in a idyllic location. Spent a wonderful few days diving there, and a special shout-out to Paul, Tos, Jenny, and Sergei at the dive centre who made it an unforgettable experience with some excellent dives around the stunning reefs. Paul is a fantastic guide and instructor, so would recommend diving with them whether you’re a beginner looking to do your certifications or more advanced and just want to spend time underwater in breathtaking surroundings.

Our stay was really great. The view was spectacular and the hotel was really worth it. They provided free snorkeling equipments, kayaking and paddling boat. even snorkeling nearby the shore, you can even see the fishes! Spend there for 2 nights and for me, I need more! The food was good and our premium dinner was amazing although it was quite expensive but it still worth it. I still remember the taste of the lamb till now! They provide free service to the town too.

WOW! This was beautiful! We booked very late (5 days before arrival) and got a beutiful appertement with a fair price. The appartement was not that close to the beach (10min walk, because the resort is very large) but up on the hill in our appartement we had a beautiful view over the sea. The stuff was friendly & helpful, the appartement very clean and the whole resort very well organized. We absolutely can recommend Sita Beach Resort!

We knew what to expect, but we spoke to several travellers...
We knew what to expect, but we spoke to several travellers who were disappointed. They expected pristine beaches and nature, and were taken a back how the locals are living on the island.
If you go prepared you won't be disappointed, and Ko Lipe should not be your only destination, 3 nights is more then enough. Enjoy!!!

It's no different from other coastal small towns with ample delicious and affordable local eateries but better still as a transit point to better interesting Kok Lipe and other islands for much more adventurous vacations.

I don't remember the city of Satun...
I don't remember the city of Satun... There is the Province of Satun. However, the city of Pak Bara is worth visiting, especially the waterfront and the nice (slightly crowded) cafes. The nearby "Mu Ko Phetra National Park" deserves special attention with a long jetty enabling a trip to the time of dinosaurs.

Very beautiful island with stunning beaches and breathtaking views. Lot of local people and not so crowded in october compared to Phuket or other islands. However, it can be a bit dirty and old outside turistic areas. Overall a great way to see the beaches while also understanding the local life. Lots of restaurants and nice places on the walking street. The island is small and can be done by walking from almost any resort

A good place to relax and stop over before you go to Koh Lipe or Koh Adang. I would recommend Papaya Mom 2 Restaurant for delicious HALAL AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD. A visit by walking or jogging near the Mu Ko Phetra National Park during sunset was awesome and great view.

I was there on business heading to Langkawi so only one...
I was there on business heading to Langkawi so only one night then the ferry the next day. With transport there is a lot to see in Satun. A quiet little backwater coastal town that has a ferry to Langkawi. If I had time I would do more exploring. I ate at the local shops a donut and a coffee. Main meal at my room as I brought it with me in my car fridge. I did go to a excellent coffee shop before checking into my room. Satun is developing but in not way touristic, No crowds

I was here in low season so 60% of bars and stuff were either closed or empty. Doesn’t matter there’s lots of nature to discover for the adventurous at heart. Diving, koh Adang, fishing, kayaking, snorkeling and lazy walks followed by legit massage

Good place to stay with your family on your vacation. Good eating place around the area such as: Papaya Mom, Rim Lay Kitchen & Restaurant, Nava Seafood, Bara Roti and few other restaurants. You can also go to Koh Lipe for the stay and some other water activities.
