The villa we stayed in was amazing. The bed is super comfy and you have heaps of space, your own pool and your own rooftop terrace. The breakfast was exceptional, too. Everything your heart could possibly desire. The resort is like the perfect little bubble on all the Patong craziness, which definitely wasn’t our cup of tea. All the better that we had our villa. :)

Everything was amazing during our stay. Staff was great, the rooftop pool is very nice, overall the hotel has a nice vibe and is very quiet (apart from the cicadas). Rooms are big and the beds very comfy. The food at Saneha restaurant was the best that we had in Karon, the cocktails as well, breakfast also delicious.

The hotel is just few minutes walk to Patong beach, and shopping area. We could even walk to a nearby mall. We really appreciate receptionist, Aoddy we even showed us places to visit. The lady whom I forgot her name was also very much helpful. The room was clean, air conditioned and I may not think twice if I happen to visit the same area. It was home away from home.

The photos do not do justice to this place!! It is an incredibly beautiful place and I will stay there again!! The room was exceptional. The service, the quality, there is just that extra "that!" which makes it absolutely classy and superb! I loved where it is situated - by the ocean front. I loved the view, even from my room which was at the back. The pools were exceptionally clean! Breakfast had loads of selections from continental, to Asian. No other place has outdone this one yet.

Idyllic Island of International Fame

Thailand’s largest island, Phuket has a mountainous landscape leading down to lush, green palms, warm, turquoise seas and soft, golden sands. Patong is its most developed resort and is well known for outrageous nightlife. There are lots of clubs, bars and restaurants in the main town and it also has a fantastic beach lined with hotels and resorts.

To the south is Karon, home to the 2nd largest beach and offshore coral reefs that are good for snorkelling. Quieter Kamala also has coral reefs and good surfing conditions, as do the curved beaches at Kata.

The island’s airport is in the north and there are lots of Phuket hotels near the airport in Mai Khao and Nai Yang, where sea turtles come ashore to lay their eggs. In Bangtao to the south there is a great range of Phuket hotels with private pools on Booking.com, while around the corner in exclusive Surin there are often typical Thai long boats bobbing up and down in the rolling waves.

On the other side of the island Chalong has an impressive Buddhist temple and is a popular spot for kitesurfing. Neighbouring Panwa has shallow water coral and the Phuket Aquarium to explore. The Phi Phi islands are off Phuket’s eastern shores and their idyllic scenery makes wonderful day trips.

There's always something going on at this beach.

There's always something going on at this beach. It's not a quiet beach. You can go jetski... and all sorts of other activities are offered. There are designated areas for swimmers and boats. Bed and loungers are available for rent everywhere.

Phuket Old town had a charm of its own offering many options...

Phuket Old town had a charm of its own offering many options for cafes & food. We had Thai food at Raya which was super delicious. Beaches at Kata & Karon are fun too. As Patong is overcrowded, these places offer much relaxed life. Andamanda waterpark is a must to do for all ages. And recommend Catmaran rides to islands for those who dont like choppy high speed rides in the ocean.

Kata was nicer than Patong - less night life, We didnt enjoy the beaches the amount of rubbish in the sand and water is very sad- not just Kata we found the all the Phuket beaches the same, very sad or maybe we are very lucky in NZ to have beautiful rubbish free beaches

Karon Beach was just the right balance of peace and...

Karon Beach was just the right balance of peace and excitement. There were beach chairs and parasols for rent (about 200 baht per day), traditional massage services for a fee, and water sports too. But what I like most was that none of the vendors were pushy. They were there if you wanted them but otherwise you went about your day with no disturbances.

There are plenty of places to eat and drink close to the beach, parking is ample and the sunset is awesome! Two 7/11's provide your chilled wines, beers and spirits. Horse ridding along the beach is worth a go!

Kamala Beach is absolutely beautiful with stunning views! It can get a bit busy, so I recommend arriving early to secure a good spot. Also, make sure to stay hydrated because it gets very hot during the day. Overall, a great beach experience!

Really enjoyed the near by beach bars and restaurants.

Really enjoyed the near by beach bars and restaurants. There are some nice walks from the hotel along the nice sandy beaches. Enjoyed walking in to town there is a good selection of pubs with Thai and international dining options. We hired a car and there are lots of interesting places to explore.

Friendly Thai people, peaceful environment, and a great location near the new township and Nai Harn Beach—much nicer than the usual Patong area. Plenty of halal food and convenience stores nearby. A perfect healing spot.

Recommendation for restaurants = "My Front Yard" is a new location with several different types of restaurants. Ate at three of them and the food and service was excellent. Recommend "Home Sweet Home" as the close by go to coffee shop.
