The bed was amazing! Best sleep I had in my whole trip. I was supposed to stay 1 night, but ended up staying 3. Hot water, free fruit, coffee, tea, breakfast, water bottle, towel, soap,..a fan and airconditioning in every corner of the room and sockets at every bed. The owner helped me to extend my visa and brought me to the ferry. You can take a ferry for 10bth to the train station. Perfect location.

The best hotel I've ever done in Thailand. The rooms are great! It's very clean! It smells good! There is a beautiful swimming pool! The owner thought so well of this place. The staff is lovely. An excellent hotel with amazing staff, cozy rooms, great service, good breakfast, and a wonderful spa. The hotel was very comfortable and the rooms were clean, spacious, and offered a good view. In the evenings, we could enjoy the free spa which included a hammam, bath, jacuzzi, and cold pool - it was a wonderful experience. Moreover, the hotel was located in a great location and the staff regularly helped us with hailing a taxi. Additionally, the hotel offered a simple but tasty breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

What a classy room, it was like a mini Palace. It had a large bath tub, large room. From the front door we had a slight view of the ancient ruins across the river but walk down the steps to the pool area, WOW what a beautiful view of the Ayutthya. The lights which light up the buildings are just beautiful, we sat there in awe. Breakfast was included which was very nice too. Highly recommended.

Women owned and operated resort with kind and generous staff located in a charming tradition setting. Every question ( and there were many…) answered patiently. Transport to sights near: Historical Park, Night Market, to restaurants and far: Bang Pa-In and to Bangkok organised quickly and always with a smile. Do try to enjoy the restaurant. Their cooking is absolutely delicious!

Great location and great staff - we stayed only overnight but liked this place - the man on the reception was so kind and helpful, we liked the atmosfere very much. The bungalow was quite small,but we stayed only overnight so we do not have a need for a bigger space. The location is great,so close to markets and temples. Thank you so much!

The location was fantastic, a ferry takes you across the river and then there is a bike rental on the other side to get to temples quickly. And I was taking the night train so the short walk to the station was perfect. I was also allowed to take a shower before the train ride even though I had already checked out.

What a beautiful, relaxing place! The Thai decor is stunning, rooms have everything you need, even had a beautiful outdoor shower. And the grounds set on the river were gorgeous. All the staff were lovely and helpful. The floating restaurant was awesome.

wonderful place on a nice island, withe send beach only disturbed by the numerous speed-boat playing around the pier. Nice place for snorkeling at the opposed end of the Samae Beach. Hotel staff very nice and helpful.

It's an important historical town, and there are a lot of...

It's an important historical town, and there are a lot of interesting ruins scattered around. You need to know something - quite a lot, actually - about the historical Ayutthaya period in order to get something out of the visit, otherwise you're just looking at ruins; and as cool as they are, they won't mean much without context.

My favorite part was the garden!

My favorite part was the garden! I loved the little rabbit and the chicken, and the garden was so pretty with the waterfall, mist, plants, and pond. The room was very clean and quiet, and I got the pool view, which was really nice. They have a lot of amenities, including a pool and a cute cafe, Moakmai. The staff were very welcoming, especially Khun Aey, who showed me around the amenities and the garden. They also served Japanese breakfast by the pool, which was a lovely touch.

The ancient sites were truly amazing and not to be missed.

The ancient sites were truly amazing and not to be missed. It was a lot of walking, but we visited most of them. There are many tuk-tuks readily available in the area. We ate at the night market, and I had some of the best food of anywhere in Thailand.

Other than the obvious stunning remains, it was very very easy to get around on all forms of transport. Everything is laid out well and signposted. If you've never travelled before, make this a soft landing!!! Bicycle is the easiest way and all the hotels and guest houses had lots of them on hand. Top tip.. I was reliving my earlier days travelling and I turned off all social media and lived in the moment. We dont need thousands of photos and selfies guys!! Some people there can't have seen anything going on, glued to phones 😢 The temples are more spread out than it appears in internet. Bicycle is perfect, walking is possible but it's a long soulless walk with nothing to see.
