It was the best! The hotel is very clean and convenient overall. The room, the beach, the pool… the bed was I think the comfiest hotel bed I’ve ever slept in, the bathroom was amazing, wide, clean and practical. The staff was amazing! They were so friendly and all spoke very good English. The beach is really good too. At first I was scared because they warned us there might be jellyfish but we didn’t see any and everyone else was also enjoying the ocean, so I don’t think it’s common. The sunbeds get busy during the day but we always managed to find one. There are really nice restaurants/bars and massage places on the beach too next to the hotel. There is happy hours during the day at the pool bar and you get 1+1 on the drinks! The breakfast was good with selections wide enough. We haven’t tried the hotel’s restaurant but ordered room service once and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a top resort experience and we definitely want to come back.

We stayed at the Khao Lak Marriot on an opening deal and were incredible impressed to say the hotel hadn't even been open for a month. The staff were all superb and each restaurant offers something different. We loved the vast beach at the property and the adult only pool was a very welcomed amenity.

Everything was fantastic. The suite was clean, modern and spacious. The pool being over 2km, there was always a close entry and from anywhere in the resort. The beach was great, waves are small but still allow for boogie boarding or surfing. Supplying free rental on surf boards, boogie boards, kayak and paddle boards is a bonus. Staff is attentive always going out of their way to make sure you are comfortable.

Amazing buffet breakfast - fantastic selection and delicious. Very good wait staff, nice atmosphere and relaxed. Beautiful rooms. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which was very spacious, very nicely finished, clean and modern. Very nice, luxurious toiletries provided (Marlin & Goetz). Excellent housekeeping services. Beautiful clean beach, multiple pools and multiple restaurants - the pizza oven by the kids play pool was a favourite! Great kids and teens club with different activities and fun games. Gardens are beautifully maintained and bit of fun to see the chickens, ducks, turtle and rabbits.

Six Senses Yao Noi is set in the most stunning location, blending breathtaking natural beauty with luxury and sustainability. The wildlife and lush surroundings create a vibrant island vibe, seamlessly integrated into the resort’s design without disrupting nature. The level of food and drinks was unparalleled—honestly, the best coffee we’ve ever had abroad, and every meal was an unforgettable experience. There were plenty of activities, including a magical James Bond movie screening under the stars (as a part of the "Living Room" restaurant). The peaceful integration with nature made us feel like we were in a luxurious treehouse. Our Hideaway Villa was perfect, with a fantastic bath and thoughtful mosquito management through fogging and natural repellents. Pool was amazing and so as the outdoors seating and dining area. unmatched privacy!! The hotel staff was amazing, offering free ice cream and complimentary activities like paddleboarding and kayaking, always with a helping hand. Even the transfer to the airport was flawless, with staff escorting us all the way to the check-in counter, handling our luggage from start to finish. The overall vibe was intimate and familial, making the experience even more special.

The hotel is amazing! Everything was great - from the biggest swimming pool to Thai language classes, offered to guests. I liked pool the most - 300 m of clean and warm water :) The food was great both for breakfast and for dinner, with local and European options for every taste and huge choice of cocktails and mocktails. We had the dinner at the beach for St Valentine's day, and the arrangement was terrific - flowers, Chinese lanterns, music, 7-course meal, sparkling vine, etc. Spa treatments are a bit pricey, but of very high quality. Entertainment is very diverse - yoga, pilates, thai box, thai stretching, language classes, batik classes, and many more. The personnel was very helpful at all times.

Everything from room, service, environment, food I love it that the room is private yet you feel open, pool villa was surrounded by many trees, you can see squirrel, birdy and even frogs inside the room. The beach itself, although most if the time with rough wave, but yet it is fun to play with Food is good too! Only thing is I requested for anniversary decoration but they didnt do, but its fine. The staff there are all friendly enough to make this up. They dont have much units and it is attached to a private beach, so you can enjoy the sea and beach peacefully. Be sure to catch the pink sunset too!

First of all, a hotel on a beautiful sandy seashore. The beach is very clean. Lots of beautiful Instagram spots. A long beach, it is very pleasant to walk both in the morning and in the evening. The hotel itself has a modern industrial interior. Small but very cozy. Staff with a smile and very helpful. Breakfast for picky eaters, minimal, but definitely enough. If you want more, the main street is full of cafes. Right next to the hotel is an unreal cafe with excellent cuisine and very favorable prices. Next door - laundry, travel agency. Best greetings ! Recomend 100%

We liked the peace and quiet. The layout of pool access blocks works really well, and there is good space in the pools. The location is great for shopping and food at night outside. The staff are considerate. The breakfast is adequate to enjoy each morning. We had two stays here within 3 weeks, the first about a week, the last three nights. Both times, we were very happy. The shorter stay we were further from the main pool, but we liked this as it was quieter away from the street bat music.

This was the most beautiful resort we have ever stayed resort in! We couldn’t fault the food, staff, rooms and location. The wooden car buggies are great and a bit of fun to drop you directly off at your room. We stayed in the Sea view room with bathtub and wow it was amazing! Such friendly and helpful staff - always with a smile! They offer so much to do on the island and within the resort. We most definitely recommend this resort for couples or families. Absolutely loved it.

This location truly is paradise. It's in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by Jurassic Park like cliffs and a white beach with tall palm trees. It is out of a fairytale. Hornbills flying over daily. Everything at Koh Yao Paradise is thought through and well designed. From the mosquito repelling shower gel to the hidden airco unit. The rooms are big and tidy. The personal was so nice and helpful. This is a must stay.

Would have liked to do Khao Sok, and because there's a lot...

Would have liked to do Khao Sok, and because there's a lot to do around Khao Lak, would probably have enjoyed an extra day or two to actually stay on a beach and relax. We hired bikes, perfect for the area, and accessed Surin and Similan islands, snorkelling and scuba. Personally thought Surin and the snorkelling was better. Have fun with the 7-elevens.

Such a gorgeous little island, which feels more untouched...

Such a gorgeous little island, which feels more untouched and away from the masses. Friendly locals and just the right amount of shops and resteraunts to try. The perfect island to relax and unwind. A shot long boat trip out to nearby islands for some snorkelling was a great activity with our smaller kids. So many fish to look at!

The island is fairly small, with good road infrastructure...

The island is fairly small, with good road infrastructure that can take you around any point. People were friendly and calm in general. Lots of things to do around, easy to get to Ko Yao Yai even with your scooter and explore the island, probably need another full day there or more. We recommend it strongly to everyone who wants to spend a quiet week in Thailand on a affordable price.

Lots of things to photograph here. Street photography, landscape, seascapes, drones, portraits, temples, wildlife. The Elephant Cave was awesome, and we even arranged to photograph it with our tripods. Lots of monkeys were running around. We took our scooters about 20 minutes away to a dock and launched drones to capture beautiful river deltas. About an hour away was a nice sunset spot called Samet Nangshe.

If you want to visit a clean beach for swimming and water activities, this is not a good option. there was plastic and other rubbish every where, both on shore and in the water. The resorts locally are lovely though and still worth staying at. We stayed at Santhiya and it was wonderful. The best thing about this area is it is not overcrowded and the locals are lovely

Beautiful beach with soft sand, safe warm sea. Very quiet.

Beautiful beach with soft sand, safe warm sea. Very quiet. Have to hire a scooter or taxi to get around. Can walk along the beach to other resorts but too far to walk elsewhere. No shopping or night life!

Trips to the islands are a must Ko lak is a cut above Phuket more refined better restaurants excellent choice of hotels and all in all nicer people No gangs of young Indian lads it was a joy to return to the old Thailand

Must visit island in thailand.

Must visit island in thailand. Must visit for atleast 4 days, serene islands, very less population, all essential and necessary things are available. Great experience. Laem Had beach during low tide, loh chak for activities, Loh pared for great sunset at the pier. Great food and seaside culinaries available at every doorstep.

We went in May with a group of friends and found it a low key and relaxing island. Beautiful beaches and a few places to explore. I think scooter hire is a must-have to be able to get around...that was a highlight for us just cruising around the island! The hike to the 'big tree' was way harder than expected but the gorgeous secluded beach at the end made it worth it. In low season it seems like at least half the restaurants and shops are closed so you can't rely on google to tell you where to go, sometimes you just have to drive around and see what's open.

You should visit the crazy (and a bit scary) Wat Tham Ta Pan Temple, which offers both a great cave and a super observation tower. In Somdet Phra Sinagarindra Park right in the city there are beautiful caves and wild monkeys. Phang-nga is also the best starting point for great boat trips to James Bond Island.
