Everything: the rooms were very new and neat; breakfast was great with a lot of variety to choose from; the sunsets at the beach of the hotel were amazing; location was great, quiet area with different restaurants around; the pool was very nice and clean; Staff was helpful and friendly. Massage was also very nice with the sound of the waves in the background; Motorbike at the same price as outside the hotel.

Place was very nice, calm, nice pool, spa center and breakfast. shuttle buses every hour to the beach and the city. staff was very nice, special thanks to Hasan. He was very smiley and friendly. they gave us room when we arrived around 10am, even check in was at 14h. it was very pleasant stay, hope we will come back. :)

So there might be a cockeral who gets up at 5.40 every morning, you might get disturbed by monkeys having a dance on your bungalow's roof, you may even wake up to no electricity, water and heaven forbid WiFi! But all this is part of the charm, Tee, Marc, Pin and the gang are smiles all round and soon you will be too. The location really is in the jungle and to die for, plus as a counter balance you've also got the bustling resort of Ao Nang near enough.... I survived walking it, but scooters and taxis are also available. The bungalows are amazing, everything you need, nothing you don't. This place is special, and as long as you can cope with the odd bug and the above without freaking out, book it, enjoy it, you probably won't ever forget it......

I booked the room for 2 nights but ended up staying for 7 because I really liked the place. It has everything you need - cosy rooms, great location, good facilities, and close to the beach. You can also rent a motorbike if you want. The staff are friendly and helpful. I had a small issue with the shower, and it was fixed quickly.

First there was wrong location on the map. I called them and they came to pick us up. Then they were really kind for everything. Quiet place, you'll need a scooter to move but the night market is 5 min driving and amazing. The pier to take ferry is 2 min away and they took us there. Nice stay i would go there again with pleasure ! :)

The hotel is good value for money as the accommodation is spacious, well maintained, and designed for comfort. Their level of service is second to none in what we experienced in Thailand and in many places in fact. We start with a natural flower necklace and a welcome drink, plus a cold towel with lemongrass scent. Fabulous. The room was spacious, well stocked (around 6 bottles of their own water, minibar, toiletries, bathtub and shower, safe, roves, slippers, hairdryer), large balcony, perfect shower. We got two keys so one was powering the AC and keeping the room cool for our arrival each day. The staff were exceptionally friendly and genuinely cared to say hello ad we passed every day and to ask if we need anything. By the end of the trip we were on first name basis. Everything was a ten out of ten. Before we left they sent us the sweetest goodbye message on the app (download the app it is really good) and offered late checkout. They also left us flowers and a scent of Pimalai in the room on the last night as scent is the longest lasting memory. The dive centre on the grounds was a great bonus and without expecting to dive whilst in Koh Lanta, we managed to do two dives in one day whilst at Pimalai. The beach is long. We saw a couple get engaged and have a beautiful engagement dinner with tiki torches and a decorated covered area so if you're looking for something special they have that experience too. Note: we didn't encounter any mosquitos in Koh Lanta - unusual compared to what we experienced in other parts of Thailand. The experience at Pimalai made us want to go back to Koh Lanta again. A slice of luxury in a paradise location.

We had a delightful time at Koh Jum Resort. It is a very authentic place on a hill side located in a pristine bay. The staff, even for Thai standards, is beyond hospitable and accommodating. Upon early arrival they allowed us to join breakfast (although it usually isn't included on the arrival day itself) and made the stay with our toddler more than what we could wish for. A special mention for the resident manager Aom, she made sure we were happy and comfortable. She helped us out with our questions and requests, always very kind and customer oriented. Our accommodation was fantastic, the deluxe villa with a bubble bath, overlooking the sea, full privacy, was a true pampering experience on our trip through Thailand. We would 100% recommend it! Traveling as a family with a child of 4 years of age, all we needed was on premise. Building sand castles at the beach, all toys available to just pick up and play. Plenty of sun beds available. The pool. We also enjoyed the little library they have, with books to read during your stay. Delicious food, tasty cocktails. Rich breakfast, including eggs, pancakes, tuna salad, rice with chicken and vegetables, various sauces, sausages, bread with ham, butter, jams, various cereals with milk, various juices, coffee, tea. Seafood BBQ for dinner on the beach. Beautiful sunsets.

It was a great spot. Close by to everything but far enough away to not be in the main hustle and bustle. All the staff are super friendly and welcoming, life guards are great with kids. My teen son had a fab time. It was really clean, breakfast was lovely, pools were clean and well maintained. Pool bar was great with quick service. We stayed in 2 rooms here for 2 stays due to changes in our plans. The first room overlooked the slides pool and we preferred this as more space and seemed more updated. Second room overlooked the quiet pool, again still clean but seemed a little more dated. I would definitely stay here again, perfect spot for pick up for many activities. Ao nang beach seemed a little dirty but Nopparat beach also close by looked really nice but we didn't get chance to visit. Great hair salon just by the hotel aswell and a helpful pharmacy. Restaurant food is really nice aswell, could do either more vegetarian options but great pineapple rice.

Its a bit chaotic and touristy. There's a decent amount of traffic. It isn't necessarily a place that you would want to come back to. After you go on a few island tours, that's about all you need. Railay is awesome so definitely go there from Ao Nang.

The island is very beautiful.

The island is very beautiful. It's suitable for all types of tourists. The beaches are nice, although the best ones require at least a 20-minute walk. I was pleasantly surprised. Maya bay definitly worth a visit (only acessible by boat). The food is good and varied. The viewpoints are spectacular. Viewpoint 3 is quite far and a bit muddy, but if you're in good physical shape, you can get there easily. Those traveling with children or who have mobility difficulties should avoid accommodations in the mountains. Eat and drink places: THE COFFEE CLUB - Best coffee shop Anna's Restaurant - One of the best places to eat Garlic 1992 - Best restaurant Activities: Day snorkeling trip (if it's not raining). Reggae Bar Phi Phi to watch tourists fighting for fun (not recommended for young children) Beach fire parties (if you want to drink and maybe flirt). Less positive: It would be better to have less polluting and noisy local boats available to reduce pollution and noise. Perhaps with eletrical engines.

We love Bangkok for its busy craziness, but Koh Lanta is our favourite place for chilling out. Hire a scooter, explore the island, try the restaurants, swim, snorkel, watch the sunset - its that kind of place.

The night markets in all over Thailand are great for...

The night markets in all over Thailand are great for exploring good food, no doubt. Krabi Town in general is filled with so many food options, random stalls in every street for much cheaper price than most night markets. As happening as the town is in general, it is also quiet and peaceful. Easy to rent a bike for 350-450 THB per day. Best to rent from places that are near bus terminals or at bus terminal itself. Almost everyone understands basic English here, easier to talk and navigate than major cities like Bangkok. Loved our stay. Would visit again.

Really beautiful area with SO much to explore on foot and by boat. Walking street is amazing. Phra Nang beach is gorgeous but a little busy at times. Tonsai beach is worth the walk to get there. Amazing trip we loved it and would absolutely go back. Do a longtail boat tour private to see some islands, take a climbing lesson!

On a rainy day it is boring as f... Very early morning at sunrise is the best time to walk on the beach and take pics. There are very few small shops and mostly mediocre restaurants and massage places

I’m completely biased.

I’m completely biased. I loved everything and everyone involved in the place. No favourite thing. Many favourite things. Jungle, sea, boats cars tuk tuk and all. Most importantly I had the best guided tours on offer. Thank you. One and all. Appreciated and greatful ❤️

Although the staff and location are great.

Although the staff and location are great. They double charged for our room as we reserve through Booking with our Credit Card but then we paid cash( yes I kept the receipt) then later after I reviewed my statement they had charged my CC. I reached out to them 1st per bookings police’s but they didn’t respond. I spent hours on the phone with booking uploading documentation, etc and still nothing is resolved. I am also frustrated with Booking!

We visited in early December and it was still pretty quiet. Beautiful beach and snorkelling. Trip to emerald cave was brilliant! We booked our tour and speedboat through the lady just outside of Koh Ngai KaimukThong Resort and she was brilliant! The resort staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was good and cheap compared to other restaurants (though they were also great, just a bit more $).

Ao Nang is lively, convenient, and beautifully set between limestone cliffs and the sea. It offers plenty of good restaurants, casual beach bars, and reliable food options, though it lacks true high-end fine dining. Service is generally friendly and efficient, but rarely exceptional. The beach itself is better for sunset walks and atmosphere than for long, comfortable lounging - for better swimming and relaxation, nearby Nopparat Thara or Khlong Muang are stronger choices. That said, Ao Nang excels in energy, access to island trips, and picturesque sunsets that never get old.
