We loved the staff, the vibe and the food. Breakfast was very delicious - The best we had so far in Thailand. You could chose between 6 different dishes - so it never got boring - and you always got extra fruits. The two managers, Henri+Chris, are very nice and helpful - as was the rest of the staff. If you need something: Just go to the reception and they will do their best to make you happy. It was very easy to rent a scooter. You could do your laundry and if you didn't feel like doing anything, you have a nice pool area to chill out and just be. You could even have a swim in the evening-nighttime, what was so nice, after a long day on the road. We didn't go there for fishing but we talked to some other guests who did and they loved it. It looked very exciting - big fishes to catch. And if you're lucky you'll see part of the lizard family. We were staying in a double room next to the pool and were very satisfied. I heard the houses right on the lake are even nicer and also worth staying as a family. So I would recommend this place to two sorts of people: If you're a fishing addict or if you want to get a good cost - performance ratio and like to stay in a clean-modest-place with everything your heart needs for a good vacation.

The view is absolutely breathtaking, and the staff are incredibly warm and accommodating. When we encountered an issue with the air-conditioning in our original villa, the team promptly upgraded us to a more spacious one, which was a wonderful surprise. Palm Trees and Pristine Seas

One of Thailand’s most famous islands, Koh Samui (or Ko Samui) is a tropical paradise whose palm trees emerge from the pristine white sands at unbelievable angles, and whose offshore reefs make for great diving.

The most developed resort is Chaweng, though most bars and clubs are set back from the beautiful beach, so the views are still wonderful. Slightly less lively is Lamai, though its beach is no less impressive. Both of these resorts are home to a large number of Koh Samui hotels with private pools, a popular requirement of many visitors, despite the wonderfully warm waters.

Lipa Noi in the west faces Thailand’s east coast and has some beautiful sunsets, while the northern fishing village of Bo Phut is gaining in popularity. Nearby Mae Nam and Cheong Mon both have sweeping beaches that gently shelve into the sea, making them popular family choices.

Travellers don't go tot Koh Samui for its sights – but interesting attractions include the Big Buddha at Bangrak’s Wat Phra Yai temple, and the Wat Khunaram Ko Samui temple inland from Hua Thanon.

our stay in this hotel was absolutely perfect. everything is great, starting from the location which is close to the fisherman’s market and many other hotels/restaurants, the hotel is in front of a very nice beach with private area and a pool that looks right to the sea, the food was great starting from the breakfast and the dinners. Rooms are just dreamy and the staff is very collaborative and kind. complementary yoga and Pilates lessons and they are also organized to support with tours and motorcycle rentals.

The public pool and the private beach are also awesome. Breakfasts are great. Do not miss the long stewed pork meat station at the entrance :) It is also worth noting the option of a golf car ride from the restaurant to your room - it is not just comfortable, but also fun :)

Staff was so amazing from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. We had dinner at the 'Escape' and it was delicious 10/10. highly highly recommend to get the coconut creme brulee. We were in villa S1 and the space and detail they put into it was incredible. Felt very luxurious. the cleanliness was great. Honestly will be back to this resort because we loved it so much and would highly recommend this to family and friends.

I read a lot of reviews about the amazing beaches of Koh...

I read a lot of reviews about the amazing beaches of Koh Samui. I tried many of them and I can tell with confidence that Chaweng was the best by miles. I was based in Chaweng and I though to check the other beaches. I walked all over Lamai, which is very panoramic, but there is a constant stink wherever you go and the beach inside has a lot of corals/rocks that will probably hurt your feet. Crystal Bay was tiny, not comfortable because of the corals and overcrowded. I didnt see Fisherman Village beach while the others on the east side looked dirty. Choose Chaweng

Lamai is for those who like things to be bit slow and quiet.

Lamai is for those who like things to be bit slow and quiet. You will do everything that is possible on the Island in less than 4 days, after that you either enjoy the sun, pool, beach or numerous cocktail places. It's at bay s you wont have to worry yourself about natural disasters such as Tsunami.

We really enjoyed this area of Koh Samui.

We really enjoyed this area of Koh Samui. Our resort (Hansar Resort & Spa) was perfectly located and very comfortable. Fisherman's Village was in easy walking distance from our resort and gave us easy access to plenty of restaurants, bars, convenience stores, pharmacies, massage, etc. Unfortunately, we were down for the count most of our trip with stomach issues so we did not venture outside the Bophut area. Even with the illness, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and plan to return soon and explore the rest of the island.

Mae Mam beach is lovely.

Mae Mam beach is lovely. Two very nice chillout bars with beanbags and deck chairs. Couple of restaurants you can walk to along the beach. Our favourite was The moon but. The food was really good, music on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday it would be great if there was a crowd of you.

We spent our vacation staying with family at a truly exceptional resort. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Every moment was a pleasure, from the incredibly diverse and delicious breakfasts to the spotlessly clean rooms and grounds. The breathtaking views were enhanced every day, and the availability of amenities like yoga and the gym added the perfect balance to our stay. Without hesitation, I’d recommend this place to anyone seeking a beautiful setting paired with outstanding hospitality.

Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui. It’s incredibly beautiful — soft white sand, calm turquoise water, and a peaceful atmosphere that feels like a little escape from the busier parts of the island. I loved how quiet and relaxed it was, perfect for swimming or just lying under the sun. The view with the green hills around was stunning. That said, it’s not the best during low tide — the rocks and coral can make it tricky to get in the water. Also, there’s not much going on nearby in terms of shops or nightlife, and some areas can get a bit pricey because of the luxury resorts. Still, for a calm beach day with amazing views, I’d go back in a heartbeat.

There are only two bungalows facing the beach and they are...

There are only two bungalows facing the beach and they are AMAZING!! We did not want to leave our hotel. Some of the other rooms looked nice too but faced the garden walkway. One bungalow faced a concrete wall. You get what you pay for. Loved this place so much.

Loved our room! It was very spacious,clean & comfortable. The bed and pillows met our expectations. The pool was huge! Great for children or grown ups. A very ambient,quiet resort set on the beach front. The beach chairs are very comfortable and the best place to chill with a book or take in the amazing views. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is very peaceful and we ordered a taxi or grab to go to dinner in the evening. We had drinks at the Hotel pub one evening. Overall a great stay & value for the rates. The breakfast was sufficient …eggs and fresh fruit/toast/pastries. Handy if you have a motor bike to get around the Island as grab is expensive. .

Great location in a quiet area of the island. Massage , supermarket and restaurant facilities nearby. Relaxing vacation surrounded by nature. Friendly staff at the hotel and nearby commerce. Waterfall near by.
