We liked very much the location. The size of the room was big enough and the view was wonderful. The beach was very nice just in front of the hotel. The sand is white and soft like walking on flour. The sea is cristal clear.The area is not too busy. We had a room with sea view and it was quiet. The owner and his wife were very nice. We enjoyed our vacation there and plan to return.

I travel a lot and this place is outstanding - the best resort I've stayed in. Beautiful villa, beautiful resort, wonderful white-sand beach and turquise water. Very pampering, everything thought of down to the smallest detail. The villa is very spacious, very well designed, the shower was a real treat. Great complimentary drinks at sunset upon arrivsl, daily afternoon tea. Nice breakfast buffet. Dinner on the beach was a great experience. Very highly recommended!

Amazing hotel location our room was right on the beachfront looking out to sea. This is the second time we’ve stayed at this hotel this time we had an upgraded room. The last time we stayed here our room had no wardrobe or drawers to store any clothing in this room had a wardrobe and drawers which made all the difference. Also my partner didn’t like the fact there was no full length mirror in the room..

It's one of my favorite beaches in Thailand, close enough to...

It's one of my favorite beaches in Thailand, close enough to Bangkok that you don't have to fly, but far enough away that the water is beautiful and the sand is white and soft. I always stay at the same resort on Tubtim beach (Tamarind), and it never disappoints - I don't even leave for food because their food is always delicious!

Loved the Viking Holiday Resort where we stayed.

Loved the Viking Holiday Resort where we stayed. It was very peaceful and just what we needed - good access to beaches and quiet. However there are problems on Ko Samed as many resorts have gone out of business and are derelict - unfortunately with rubbish piling up outside them and nothing being done about that. So it really depends where you stay!

A great island to go and chill, small enough to walk around...

A great island to go and chill, small enough to walk around and still large enough to explore. We walked from our resort into the main town one afternoon to explore and had a meal, great local food offerings and so inexpensive.
