I went with my partner, my parents and my brother and his partner. They made sure we had 3 bungalos next to each other. The rooms were lovely and clean and comfortable. The beach was lovely and quiet and a very short walk across a pretty small quiet road. Minnie was an amazing host, we were on Koh Samet for Loy Krathong and got to meet her family and friends they were all so friendly. It was the end of our holiday in Thailand for my partner and i and it was the perfect end to it. We would definitely come back to Minnie's again!

This hotel is in a very convenient place - right next to the pier, a shop and a cafe. It is easy, as when you get to the island, you do not need to get a taxi and can easily rent a motorbike close to the hotel. We booked the hotel for 3 nights and then booked for three more. The room has Netflix and Youtube, they also provided an additional bed for our 4 year old. The ladies provided water and clean towels every day and cleaned the room once in two days. We are not fancy travelers, we really enjoyed the stay and also Koh Samet.

Very nice room with a very good bed. The bathroom should be renovated. But great for a short stay as the location is excellent. It is a very small boutique hotel. I felt very well. 3 nights on the small island of Koh Samet are enough to see everything. Beaches are very beautiful, the water is crystal clear, the sand is snow white and Ao Wai Beach, located a little south, can be reached in 15 minutes by scooter, in my opinion it can compete with the best beaches in Thailand and I've been almost everywhere

It was our 4-th stay here. I think its the best hotel/resort on Koh Samet tho. The price is a little bit high, but its worth it. Breakfast was good, like in many 4-star hotels. The beach is clean, sand is white, water is crystal blue. And the bonus is another quiet beach on the other side of hotel, that was very quiet . We liked it the most. The beach bar is good too!!! they have coffee/food during the day, and dinner options and fire show in the evening ! 7/11 is 3 min walk from the property.

The location of this resort is amazing, right at one of the beaches of Koh Samet. The resort offers a nice terrace and beach beds were you can chill and relax (without paying for the beach beds). They offer a wide variety of menu items, basically what you would expect in Thailand. The staff was friendly. The rooms were basic but contained everything what you would need.

The hotel was absolutely perfect for us. The rooms were beautiful and in a premium location. Beds were comfy and the area is quite calm, so we could sleep perfectly at night. Breakfast had quite a lot of options and cocktails at the bar were spectacular. We will come back for sure next time we are at Koh Samet!

Set on the quiet beach of koh samet about 4 km from the main pier. The manager and staff are wonderful and an excellent breakfast full of choices was provided. WIFI was excellent the bathroom was plain but clean and the hotel provided many accessories. The beachfront was set up for a very “chill” vibe.

The location was perfect! Not far from the pier or the beach! Quiet and had a feel like you were in a lil resort village! The comp breakfast very good and staff very friendly and accommodating! We will definitely book Barbados Terrace again on any return trip to Thailand/Koh Samet!

First trip to Koh Samet and I feel like we picked a great place. Beautiful, uncrowded beach, the hotel restaurant was good and reasonably priced, and you have more choices a short walk down the beach. Highly recommend Vongduean Resort if you’re going to Samet.

A nice and clean hostel, close to the pier/the beach/restaurants and bars! The hospitable host Golf recommended me several quiet local beaches, which made my trip to koh samet memorable :) Thanks for everything and I’ll definitely come back again!

Right on the beach, with lounge chairs under umbrellas and trees. A small shop on site was so handy. In a perfect location of Koh samet. We rented a bike from the hotel. Very friendly and helpful service. Will be back!

One of the few hotels that also has a swimming pool on Koh Samet. We got a good rate compared to some of the other hotels. Right next to the lovely beach although not actually fronting the beach.

I think it is the best value in koh samet, cheaper than all other hotel we found, the room are very clean and new, 5 min walking from the beach, 7eleven and all restaurants. Nice staff.

very cute hostel and good value for money. other then a resort it’s pretty much the only place to stay in Koh samet. staff was nice and air conditioning was a plus!!

Hotel is located in one of the nicest beach in Koh samet. Staff is super friendly, and overall is great value for money.

Great set up right on the beautiful beach with easy access. We stayed with my mom who has dementia and the staff was so good to her. The food here was fantastic and they had the best beach hang spot and fire show. Definitely will stay here again!
