The staff at Sunrise are very friendly and helpful. This was an inexpensive stay that provided me with a clean room and all necessary amenities. Location is convenient access to the pier , water taxis and places the eat. Side note - the staff is caring towards the stray kitties and dogs which is a major bonus for me ❤️

All the staff is incredible. Very very kind and helpfully. They have a shuttle from the port and they have the option to bring you back to the port. Perfect position, rooms are very cozy and clean.

The hotel is hidden in a small "jungle" they have created around it, which makes it a very special experience to stay in. The host is very nice and sent us a lot of information about Koh Tao (restaurant recommendations, places to visit etc.). Furthermore, the cafe that is part of the hotel serves really good breakfast (incl. good coffee), and we also had lunch there as well. The room was very clean, we've also used their laundry service, which was only little more expensive than if we washed by ourselves in a laundry room.

Our recent stay at Jamahkiri Dive Resort in Koh Tao was an experience we will cherish forever. This resort isn't just a place to stay; it's a destination that offers a unique blend of luxury, relaxation, and adventure. The staff at Jamahkiri were the heart and soul of our experience. Their extraordinary friendliness and attentiveness made us feel valued and well-cared for. They seemed to anticipate our needs, adding a personal touch to our stay that was truly exceptional. Dining at the resort's restaurant was a culinary delight. Each meal was more than just tasty; it was a feast for the senses, especially with the picturesque backdrop of Shark Bay enhancing our dining experience. While snorkeling in front of the resort, we were struck by the changes in the underwater world. The once vibrant coral reefs showed signs of environmental impact, with many corals not as lively as they used to be. Despite this, we were fortunate to see a variety of fish, some sharks, and even some turtles, which was a memorable part of our adventure. Our diving course, led by the skilled and reassuring instructor Neo, was a highlight. We felt safe and well taken care of, making our diving experience enjoyable and stress-free. The room service at the resort deserves high praise. On days when we were too tired to dine out, the quality and promptness of the service made our in-room dining just as special as eating at the restaurant. The reception staff were incredible, efficiently taking care of our needs with a level of service that made us feel like they could almost read our minds. And the massages – they were heavenly. Each massage left us feeling rejuvenated, relaxed, and ready to enjoy our next adventure. In summary, our stay at Jamahkiri Dive Resort was an unforgettable blend of luxury, comfort, and natural beauty.

The pictures do not do this resort justice. The location is absolutely perfect - right at the north end of the main strip of beach, the rocks that some of the villas are built on are perfect for snorkelling, and the beach is beautiful with a shallow walk out. The view of the bay from our room was fantastic, perfect for sunrise and sunset. The resort facilities were great, although we spent so much time on the beach we never made it to the pool. Our room was way bigger than we expected, well laid-out and had everything we needed. The breakfast was lovely and the dining area also had great views of the bay. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and the resort was easy to communicate with.

My friend and I stayed 3 nights and loved every minute! We ate most of our meals at the restaurant and they were all very delicious, we never had a bad meal. The massaman curry and fried tofu in particular were superb. The bar staff also make delicious drinks, we drank frozen margaritas every day! The workers were all very lovely and it was nice to see them having fun at work whilst still tending to us. We loved the family friendly atmosphere and it made us feel very much at home.

Koh Tao Montra Resort was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed our stay in this resort very much. Beach villa was newly renovated and very comfortable. Also food was very delicious. One of the advantageous for divers is that the resort has its own diving centre so you can easily book and arrange your dives without necessity to visit other diving centres. All diving instructors were very helpful and good company. We definitely wish to come back as soon as possible.

Very good breakfast, they have something for everyone and it kept me full for hours after eating, bonus for the omelette chef. The beach is cleaned every day so it is very nice. Running showers outside make it easy to go from ocean to pools which were very nice as well. The room was in good condition. We took the shuttle bus from the pier and it worked wonders. we also rented a Seakayak for two, it was in great condition and we paddled to the next bay.

The location is perfect, with the hotel situated right on the beach and close to the pier. The room was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed, including complimentary bottles of water provided daily. We had a beach view, which was the cherry on top. The breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful and kind. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked clean.

We came here to have a relaxing week during National Week in...

We came here to have a relaxing week during National Week in October. My husband and daughter had some of the best scuba diving experiences and they would definitely love to go back and do more dives (yet there are so many other places to go and see....). We stayed in the southeast for the first part of the trip, and found that to be a bit secluded - great resort, but a little too isolated and cut off for us overall. The second half we stayed in Sairee Beach area and it was amazing! So much going on and great restaurants and sunset views at your fingertips. We had wanted to rent scooters to explore the island more, but after seeing the condition of the roads (very steep and sharp turns), and so many people with "Thailand tattoos" from road rash, we decided against it, so we didn't get to see as much as we'd hoped. Maybe next time....

Excellent town and beaches stunning view's from my hotel right in beach , golden sands lots bars and restaurants available on beach and in town , excellent ferry service and transfer to hotel lots beach activities available crystal clear waters wonderful food in town excellent shopping mall and night market, great place to enjoy for all family very safe place highly recommended visiting recommended use the ferry service for all your transfer they very well organised and peace of mind
