We were supposed to stay for 3 nights but we ended up staying for 9 nights! We loved it so much here, we were gutted to leave. Staff so lovely, helpful they make you feel right at home from the minute you come here. They are like one big family.The room was lovely and bright, bed very comfortable, good aircon. We did OW20 course while here with Zach who is amazing in every way! We hope to come back here again sometime. Definitely our favourite stay while travelling!

Great stay! Very nice hotel, quite new, very clean. The staff was always available and the room was cleaned every day. Chill out area by the pool. The room was big, the bathroom was nice. Was our 2nd best bathroom in 30 days traveling. They left 2 waters every day and there was a kettle. The location is great but you need a scooter. Would stay again but on the 1st floor

A little piece of paradise – perfect for nature lovers and Muay Thai enthusiasts! We had a truly unforgettable stay at Sai Daeng Resort. The location is absolutely stunning — a hidden gem nestled in nature with breathtaking sea views and direct access to crystal-clear waters. It’s a snorkeling paradise, perfect for exploring vibrant coral reefs just off the beach. We were lucky enough to spot harmless baby reef sharks and an incredible variety of colorful fish — right from the shore! The staff is exceptional — incredibly kind, courteous, and always available to help with a warm smile. The entire resort is beautifully maintained and impeccably clean, with thoughtful touches that make it feel both luxurious and welcoming. The food is excellent — fresh, well-prepared, and with enough variety to satisfy any craving. Of course, prices are a bit higher than your average Thai street food, but totally reasonable and expected in a resort of this level. A very special mention goes to Kru Def, the Muay Thai instructor, who offered private sessions tailored to our needs. He’s a great teacher — professional, passionate, and patient. Training with him was one of the highlights of our stay! We’d recommend Sai Daeng Resort to anyone looking for natural beauty, relaxation, and a touch of adventure. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

Wow, where to begin. First off, we were pleasantly surprised that the team was waiting at the pier to pick us and other new guests up. Super convenient. The staff was SO INCREDIBLE, cannot stress this enough. We were greeted with a big smile by Zay, who has helped with the heavy luggage and made sure we had everything we needed through our entire stay. He went above and beyond, and even went to the pier at our last day to check us in advance so we didn’t have to queue. He is amazing!!! Lidia at the reception and other staff were so friendly and helpful arranging everything from begin to end! She helped us organize a private tour around the islands by boat, this was so fun! May at the restaurant was so lovely, always a big smile on her face! The rooms- oh wow! Honestly don’t know where to begin, so I’ll keep it short: MOST BEAUTIFUL TROPICAL DESIGN . Really felt so dreamy, the interior and the best view over the pool and Sea! This was by far the best hotel we have stayed at! The beach bar had the best cocktails, the pool was so beautiful, aesthetically I would say this hotel is a DREAM! We’ll 100% be back. Top notch

Koh Tao Montra Resort was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed our stay in this resort very much. Beach villa was newly renovated and very comfortable. Also food was very delicious. One of the advantageous for divers is that the resort has its own diving centre so you can easily book and arrange your dives without necessity to visit other diving centres. All diving instructors were very helpful and good company. We definitely wish to come back as soon as possible.

The villa is amazing and the views are breathtaking. Best snorkelling spot with corals and lots of fish just in front of it. They provide a free shuttle service to the town and beaches to have dinner. The pick up time for returning is at 21, but could be an hour later. We were very happy about this service anyway. The stuff was attending and very helpful, spoke good english. We were loved our stay in the villa. It was the highlight of our stay in Thailand.

The location is perfect, with the hotel situated right on the beach and close to the pier. The room was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed, including complimentary bottles of water provided daily. We had a beach view, which was the cherry on top. The breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful and kind. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked clean.

Loved Koh Tao the ocean was beautiful to swim in. It is definitely very popular with the younger crowd we were travelling as a family of 5 and we had the best time. One daughter got her diving ticket the rest of us hired a long boat and went snorkeling it was fantastic

We came here to have a relaxing week during National Week in...

We came here to have a relaxing week during National Week in October. My husband and daughter had some of the best scuba diving experiences and they would definitely love to go back and do more dives (yet there are so many other places to go and see....). We stayed in the southeast for the first part of the trip, and found that to be a bit secluded - great resort, but a little too isolated and cut off for us overall. The second half we stayed in Sairee Beach area and it was amazing! So much going on and great restaurants and sunset views at your fingertips. We had wanted to rent scooters to explore the island more, but after seeing the condition of the roads (very steep and sharp turns), and so many people with "Thailand tattoos" from road rash, we decided against it, so we didn't get to see as much as we'd hoped. Maybe next time....
