I had an amazing stay at Shiva Lodge in Koh Tao. The location feels like a tropical hideaway tucked into the jungle, surrounded by lush greenery, such a peaceful paradise. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from start to finish, which made the experience even better. The room was beautifully designed with so much attention to detail. Everywhere I looked there were thoughtful touches, and the overall design was just perfection. It truly felt like a little sanctuary. I’d highly recommend Shiva Lodge to anyone looking for a serene and stylish escape on the island.

Mae, Gem (hope I've gotten the spelling correct) and the staff are super friendly and very hospitable. They are always ready to assist whenever needed. Mae and Gem will give advise on things to do and where to eat. Location is perfect. It's by the beach and only a few minutes walk from Lomphraya Pier.and adjacent to the Songsern Pier. Restaurants, bars and convenience shops are a few minutes walk away. Full sunset view from the property when there are no clouds. Property rents out scooter. Good size decent clean room. Toilet a little small though. Bed is comfortable. Air con is super cold. Wifi works perfectly. Lots of power outlet in the room. Room could have included a few hangers. There is a small rear balcony.

We absolutely loved this hotel! The design is beautiful, we had everything we needed in our studio and it was just gorgeous. The surroundings are lovely and the hotel has lots of nice greenery and plants. The on-site cafe serves delicious breakfasts and pastries. The bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets were really nice quality. Shower is powerful and the water is hot. A lovely touch is all the locally made soaps in the bathroom and kitchenette. The staff are very kind, helpful, and accomodating. They sent a list of recommendations for the island before we arrived which was really helpful. It was a perfect place to spend Christmas and we would absolutely come back to stay again without hesitation! We didn't want to leave! Something to be aware of (which wasn't an issue for us as we had a scooter) is that the hotel is set away from the main restaurants, beach, and nightlife. So if you want to be right in the middle of things or don't want to ride a scooter, it may not be the best location for you. However, there are nice restaurants and a 7/11 within easy walking distance, and Mae Haad beach is not far.

The DD Hut is in a perfect location on the sea front but just far enough away from Sairee not to be noisy. The balcony was perfect with a sun lounger and table and chairs and wonderful sea views. The Seaview restaurant is excellent. The ambience is cosy and romantic. The food was excellent and there was some live music occassionally. The service was also very good. It is just a 10/15 minute walk into Sairee. You can walk along the beach or the path. There is a great atmoshere in the evenings as you walk in and some fabulous massage parlours on the seafront where you can spend a perfect hour having a leg massage whilst listening to the waves.

The best place to stay in Thailand! Really beautiful resort with ocean views everywhere, and the water was crystal clear blue, and so many fishes and corals to see when you snorkel! The bed was so comfy, the architecture was beautiful, and the food of the restaurant was so yummy. It wasn't so expensive - around 160 baht for a Pad Thai and 180 baht for 4 big mozarella sticks. There was also a pool and the staff were so outstanding. The service was really top notch, the hotel trains them well. Will highly recommend!

The views were outstanding, the staff very friendly and helpful. The food already in the fridge was so lovely and the leaflets for food takeaway made our lives really easy. Everything had been thought of which was great. C14 is actually a 3 bedroom villa. 2 bedrooms are in one part with a joint bathroom - ideal for families with Little ones and 1 bedroom is separate with its own bathroom. There was so much outdoor space, the dining table in particular was a beautiful space for the evening.

We came here to have a relaxing week during National Week in...

We came here to have a relaxing week during National Week in October. My husband and daughter had some of the best scuba diving experiences and they would definitely love to go back and do more dives (yet there are so many other places to go and see....). We stayed in the southeast for the first part of the trip, and found that to be a bit secluded - great resort, but a little too isolated and cut off for us overall. The second half we stayed in Sairee Beach area and it was amazing! So much going on and great restaurants and sunset views at your fingertips. We had wanted to rent scooters to explore the island more, but after seeing the condition of the roads (very steep and sharp turns), and so many people with "Thailand tattoos" from road rash, we decided against it, so we didn't get to see as much as we'd hoped. Maybe next time....

Excellent town and beaches stunning view's from my hotel right in beach , golden sands lots bars and restaurants available on beach and in town , excellent ferry service and transfer to hotel lots beach activities available crystal clear waters wonderful food in town excellent shopping mall and night market, great place to enjoy for all family very safe place highly recommended visiting recommended use the ferry service for all your transfer they very well organised and peace of mind
