I had a fantastic stay at the Boutique hotel owned by Alex. Despite being in a wheelchair, Alex's courage and determination shine through. Carine's friendliness and assistance with boat transfers and taxis were invaluable. Susan, a lovely Thai lady, added to the charm. With only 5-6 rooms, the hotel feels like a secluded paradise reminiscent of Melrose Place, ensuring privacy while still offering opportunities to meet other couples. The hotel, accommodating up to 14 persons, is perfect for private rentals with family and friends. The location, just a 2-minute walk from the beach, is ideal, and the affordable and delicious beachside food adds to the overall experience. I look forward to returning in the future. Highly recommend!

People from Art of Nature are going to be the best you will ever meet! Hlaing and Maung They were the ones who took care of me! And they really took care! we became friends very easily! I would go back just to see them because they really treated me very well! Hlaing became my great friend, he really is an exceptional professional, he genuinely wants to help you in any way he can! the resort itself is spectacular! So far the best I've ever had! It has an incredible view, super modern decor and I think the best thing about this resort is the details! In addition to shampoo and shower gel, they also give you hair conditioner, they provide a yoga mat and they also provide you with a super good speaker so you can enjoy your music! And if you're hungry they've put a bunch of snacks and drinks in the fridge! would go back again! Art the nature resort take good care of these two boys Hlaing and Maung! See you one day in the future boys! ❤️

We arrived to kupu kupu from Sunday to Friday, there are no words to describe our stay at this hotel. If you want to arrive at heaven on earth, this is the place for you. From the moment we checked in - we were greeted perfectly, with Andy that was very nice and kind man, we sat down in front of the perfect view of the hotel with drinks and wet towels for refreshment. We arrived at our villa which was decorated for our honeymoon and received a gift voucher for a dinner at the hotel where every meal there is a creation in itself. Our amazing and kind waiters - AED, Foam, Noe, Bank, AD, May, Ziny, Micky, Lin, San were the most wonderful team we have met!!!! They are such kind-hearted people, pampering, always smiling and doing everything to make you enjoy yourself to the maximum. We all love them!!! They completely made our stay! In addition, the breakfasts were really excellent and delicious and varied! This hotel also has a private beach which is a perfect paradise, what more can we add? Every minute here is a sweet dream and thanks to everyone who made this happen!!!! If I return to Pha-Ngan- only here!!!!we can’t wait to come back ❤️

Wow! Just wow! From our Arrival till we left - everything has been great, more than great! The super friendly and always helpful Staff, our wonderful Pool Suite, the Food, the Service, the Kindness we felt - whenever someone out of the Staff crossed our way, the whole Hotel Complex - so lovely with Plants just everywhere... This has been an absolutely "jackpot" Trip to wonderful Koh Phangan! And there has been nothing more to ask for! We just loved to be there, felt warmly welcome and more than super cared for! Our stay at Santhiya was really nice. The room, pool, and facilities are superb. Breakfast was nice and tasteful. The staff and personnel are wonderful and kind and helpful. I love communication via Whatsapp, because it's quite a walk/drive to the reception and it makes everything easier. Love the ride with the wooden car, our daughter enjoyed it. Restaurant at the beach is great, maybe some more language skills would be appreciated with the staff there. Main pool in nice and big, beach is wonderful. 10min walk to the nice city nearby with lots of bars and restaurants.

Haad Rin is a beautiful beach with plenty of bars and...

Haad Rin is a beautiful beach with plenty of bars and restaurants lining the shore and lots of shops, restaurants around the strip. During Full Moon week, the atmosphere gets wild—every venue competes with fire shows and loud music, creating a chaotic but energetic vibe. I imagine the off-season must be much more relaxing, though I haven’t experienced it myself. Personally, I found the Full Moon Party a bit disappointing, though that might be due to my expectations. I'm 40+, and I was hoping for a more organized event with better music and a diverse crowd—people of all ages from different parts of the world. Instead, it felt more like a chaotic gathering of mostly very young partygoers (early 20s), primarily from England, Germany, and Denmark, whose main focus seemed to be drinking and drugs. In November 2025, the original party was canceled due to the passing of the King’s mother, so I can’t speak to the usual experience.

I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location.

I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location. There are much nicer locations on the island to stay, however if you are like me, and like to explore, then this location is best as its in the middle of the coast line, and its close to central heart road ways that take you to any part of the island quickly.

The night life - bars, cafés, markets, and I enjoyed getting a massage after all the walking around. There are many massage parlors and massages are so affordable here. Also, the service at the massage parlors is very good.

Amazing place on the island. Lots of cafe's, restaurants and more. Nothing is too far really, jump on the bike and go 15min to another spot, be very careful in the corners when riding your bike......lots of people get a "Koh Phangan" tattoo there meaning they crash and the scars. Sand in corners means, slow down!!! I recommend Papaya Massage for great Thai and oil massage. Enjoy a great beautiful Phangan.

I was in haad rin beach, it pretty much is a village. A nice one, but no sidewalks, everything is cheap, a bit dirty. Compared to Phuket it really is a small village. But the full moon party was amazing, so much fun! So it definitely was worth it!

It feels mostly private and is surrounded by resorts. The beach is beautiful, shallow waters, a nearby reef, plenty of fish to spot while swimming or snorkeling. It completely changes from low tide (early morning) through high tide (from 11 to 5pm). During high tide, there’s not much sand left, but the resort’s sunbeds are perfectly positioned for relaxing just in front of the beach. Nice sunset views too (not directly but close)

Location - it was like a dream.

Location - it was like a dream. And they had a broom right outside our door so when the inevitable sand was tracked into our room, we could clean it up. We never ate in the restaurant so I can't say how it was, but the other options nearby were excellent. If you're staying longer than 3 nights and want to see more than just the hotel and its surroundings, you'll want to rent a scooter.

This crescent shaped beach is probably my favourite on the island. NOT a party beach, no jet skis, no techno bars… it’s perfect It is, however, rather far from Thong Sala pier, and quite isolated, and the road is a treacherous one, but once you’ve checked in you probably won’t want or need to leave.

Great location , lovely village great restaurants, not over crowded , family friendly. We ate in many local restaurants , the food was superb and very reasonably . Good variety of shops and supermarkets , we didn't travel outside the resort as didn't need to but plenty of taxis if needed

Lovely area on Koh Phangan.

Lovely area on Koh Phangan. Many local and also westernised food places (Ann's and Shish Kebab were our favourites!), shops and of course pristine beaches. Worth hiring a scooter to explore around and enjoy the island vibes.
