Everything: the rooms were very new and neat; breakfast was great with a lot of variety to choose from; the sunsets at the beach of the hotel were amazing; location was great, quiet area with different restaurants around; the pool was very nice and clean; Staff was helpful and friendly. Massage was also very nice with the sound of the waves in the background; Motorbike at the same price as outside the hotel.

When I arrived I was greeted by a gentleman who spoke perfect English, which isn't a common thing in Thailand but very pleasant to have. I was able to rent a scooter from the hotel right away and made it easy to go to stores and explore the island. The room was very spacious and shower was actually made for the taller people and had comfortable pressure. The bed was a little bit on the harder side, but not like concrete which I have read somewhere. It was still comfortable and pillows were also very good. The curtains were decent and kept the light out properly. The balcony was huge and for me being on the third floor, was able to see the sea and, if the weather would have been better, likely to have seen the sunset for there if I wanted to check it out from the room. Swimming pools (24/7 accessible ) were very good and also had a massage, which was very nice as well! Overall I would highly recommend people staying here as this place is amazing and also located in a Central spot on the West Side of the koh Lanta island. People who work here are incredibly friendly and would like to thank the people working in the accommodation for this! They have that true Thai friendlyness which I sometimes had missed in the Southern parts of Thailand 😊

What a fantastic find! Beautiful place with beautiful staff, so helpful. Very peaceful surroundings but close to everything you need. Beach 3 minute walk. Restaurant on site, motorcycle rental and your ticket booking or transport if required. Super relaxing stay. This was formerly part of Sea Sun Bungalows but has started under a new name. Family run resort with exceptional service and care. I love this place so much. I've extended my stay for a few more days and will definitely be back.

The team were exceptional - every encounter was amazing and nothing was too much for anyone. The bungalow was so delightfully designed and chique in an authentic Thai style with all the modern comforts. We chose the beach front and essentially we didn’t leave the lodge because so captivating - food, breakfast, cocktails, beach, massage, views etc. The ratio of guests to lounges, beach side was so lovely you could always find a spot.

We travel as backpackers and as a couple. We just loved it here. The staff is so nice and they do their best to help you! There were only three more guests staying in Cicada Lanta and only us having booked the stay with breakfast, so they opened their kitchen every morning only for us. Very cute! We even booked two more nights, as we felt so comfortable and on ease. The huts are very basic. You'll find everything you need. They are exactly how they look on the pictures and it's very clean. I loved it that the huts are made of wood. And there are so many handmade details everywhere - absolutely fantastic. We do have enough concrete at home. So this just fits so much better! I also love how they created the garden area. We would often sit on our little porch in front of the huts and enjoy the garden or do Yoga. I really don't like all these big resorts coming up. So if you look for a more authentic place but still kind of like to have it clean and nice: This is the place to stay! 🫶🏽

Their level of service is second to none in what we experienced in Thailand and in many places in fact. We start with a natural flower necklace and a welcome drink, plus a cold towel with lemongrass scent. Fabulous. The room was spacious, well stocked (around 6 bottles of their own water, minibar, toiletries, bathtub and shower, safe, roves, slippers, hairdryer), large balcony, perfect shower. We got two keys so one was powering the AC and keeping the room cool for our arrival each day. The staff were exceptionally friendly and genuinely cared to say hello ad we passed every day and to ask if we need anything. By the end of the trip we were on first name basis. Everything was a ten out of ten. Before we left they sent us the sweetest goodbye message on the app (download the app it is really good) and offered late checkout. They also left us flowers and a scent of Pimalai in the room on the last night as scent is the longest lasting memory. The dive centre on the grounds was a great bonus and without expecting to dive whilst in Koh Lanta, we managed to do two dives in one day whilst at Pimalai. The beach is long. We saw a couple get engaged and have a beautiful engagement dinner with tiki torches and a decorated covered area so if you're looking for something special they have that experience too. Note: we didn't encounter any mosquitos in Koh Lanta - unusual compared to what we experienced in other parts of Thailand. The experience at Pimalai made us want to go back to Koh Lanta again. A slice of luxury in a paradise location.

10/10 experience in Lanta Sand. The hotel is well taken care of in every aspect. Rooms are spacious and clean, the hotel surrounds are green and quiet. During the low season it's very calm and peaceful. Nice beach and good restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful in every situation. Always smiling and giving good tips what to do in Lanta. Special thanks to View at the beach bar to make the stay memorable for me. I truly enjoyed the stay, thank you! Everything just works at Lanta Sand and it has been the best hotel I have stayid my travels all-around Asia. It is clear that the management do great work to keep the hotel top tier.

Breakfast was excellent. Fresh tropical fruit, egg station, crispy bacon, Asian food and Western breakfast foods. Staff very attentive at clearing and refilling food. Loved the grounds, clean and manicured. Neat to see the monitor lizards. Some more flowers planted throughout the grounds would be a nice addition to the established beautiful plants/trees. The main ozone pool was clean and sparkling, nice and cool with a gorgeous view. Our kids loved the slide. Restaurant/bar had a beautiful view, food was tasty and reasonable. We had two tropical rooms, they were roomy and had great proximity to the main pool.

Cozy & clean room. Well-managed swimming pools. Flawless gardening. Beautiful sight from beach (You can see Koh Phi Phi directly from Layana beach.) And you can see wonderfull sunset from beach. All hotel staff was super kind, and moreover they are all genius! What I surprised was, they remember every guest's preferences in 1~2 days (like beverage preference, seat preference... all!) Restaurant in the hotel was good, and you can also have a few more restaurants nearby hotel which offers you nice foods with afordable prices.

Beautiful resort with a gorgeous pool, palm trees and direct beach access. The rooms are nice and spacious, big and comfortable beds and a balcony. My room was facing the sea and the pool and it was wonderful. The food in the restaurant is good and very affordable. I rented a bike from the hotel with no issues. The beach is great for walking and swimming and there are a few restaurants and bars along the beach as well as on the main road. I loved my stay here!

We love Bangkok for its busy craziness, but Koh Lanta is our favourite place for chilling out. Hire a scooter, explore the island, try the restaurants, swim, snorkel, watch the sunset - its that kind of place.

We enjoyed the laidbackness of Koh Lanta. Klong Dao beach is recommended for families wanting to relax, but also close to island tours, Phi Phi islands and more. Klong Khong beach is recommended more for backpackers, and had a lively nightlife with the beach bars (freeway, and freedom bar were our favorites for the sunset) it was overall very relaxing, with very good local restaurants and plenty to do. We wished we could have stayed longer to explore more, it was an absolute paradise on Earth.

Gorgeous location.

Gorgeous location. Great for families or people not needing a party outside their door. Plenty of tour providers to keep your days well occupied (shoutout to Goodtime travel for being the best service I’ve seen in a long time). Highly recommend Mons cooking school too - so much fun. Take a trip down to beautiful beach for the most crystal clear water.

Various secured beaches, lots of greenery but also a little run down in places. Trips to Koh Rok and Koh Haa excellent for snorkelling. Nothing to see in sea here sadly. Lovely food from many restaurants. Klong Nin I felt was the perfect choice in middle of island, quite but lots to see. Easy to explore but tuk tuk more exp. National park and monkeys worth seeing as is old town. Drove to Lanta Noi across bridge, very rustic and traditional. I’d highly recommend spending some time here

Beautiful small island with many beaches to swim.

Beautiful small island with many beaches to swim. Lovely restaurants. Small & safe enough to hire a scooter & ride around the island. Lovely old town which is laid back & relaxing. Good shopping. Go in high season as many places close in low season.
