PortugalThis is the perfect location to be in the center of the island! However you will have to have a motorcycle to get around. Nothing is walkable in the island. The breakfast had the essentials and was included in the price. One nice thing is that the family also have a car so they can pick you up - they give us a fair price to drop us on the pier. The staff was lovely even if they do not speak english very well sometimes. The have laundry too for a fare price. The room was basic but confortable and clean. The garden and breakfast area was lovely and rustic. The rent motorcycle for a fare price too.

This place was exactly what I was looking for. Together with the swimming pool area, the resort combines a quiet area with well-equipped bungalows submerged in a jungle-like garden. I really enjoyed staying there, since it felt like being just lost in a hut in the middle of the forest, while having the comforts of a hotel. That nap in the hammock while the raindrops were hitting the roof was just next level. The swimming pool area had more lively and festive/beach club-like vibes, and I loved it. Many young couples, groups of friends, families and also solo travelers seemed be having a great time, and even had the chance of getting to know other travelers if you felt like it. The sea views were also great, and the beach is well taken care of. Even lightened up during night time. Walking down the wooden dock was also super nice during sunset, or even for some star gazing later if the night, if the weather allows it. Food and drink standards were perfectly fine, and personnel was attentive and nice, but not intrusive. The value for money was probably one of the best ones I had in recent years in any accommodation.

We loved it here and we are definitely coming back. We were supposed to stay in Koh Kood for 8 nights and then move on to Koh Chang for another 6 nights, and so we did. After spending 2 nights in Koh Chang i called back to Highseason and booked another villa and came back for another 3 nights. The location is central, the beach is impeccable, the villas have great vibe and the stuff is warm and helpful. I wanna thank everyone for making this holidays perfect for our family and promise we will be back soon. Special thanks i want to give to Ice, the driver/butler/gentleman who made us feel like family. See you soon Highseason.

The staff was very friendly, and I got a free room upgrade. For snorkelers, this place is great for snorkeling, with lots of fish and very clear water. The hotel restaurant is not expensive.The ferry costs 600 bath per person for one way with company ( Koh Kood Express Ferry). The hotel is in Thai style and you have alot multiple options for photo shoots.

We picked this room because of the view of the beach. The resort is located on a public beach where residents from other resorts could come in freely. It may not be an option if you consider privacy but to us it feels quite natural to us. The beach seems popular on the island but it's not really busy, so it's very enjoyable to us.

What I've seen was fantastic.
What I've seen was fantastic. In so many ways, there are a lot of fun hideaways...that you can't mention them all. Feel free to get lost often. I know I did and loved it. After dark on a cycle...not as much. But day time...just go for it! Don't forget to stop by some of the road side restaurants for your favorite drink.

Koh Kood is a genuine hidden gem.
Koh Kood is a genuine hidden gem. The tropical beaches have crystal clear water and there are some great snorkeling spots if you look hard enough. Make sure you get down to The Fisherman Hut and mention Whimsical Tricycle to the owner, Tom. He will know what you mean. Enjoy! But keep it secret. Keep it safe.
