It was the best! The hotel is very clean and convenient overall. The room, the beach, the pool… the bed was I think the comfiest hotel bed I’ve ever slept in, the bathroom was amazing, wide, clean and practical. The staff was amazing! They were so friendly and all spoke very good English. The beach is really good too. At first I was scared because they warned us there might be jellyfish but we didn’t see any and everyone else was also enjoying the ocean, so I don’t think it’s common. The sunbeds get busy during the day but we always managed to find one. There are really nice restaurants/bars and massage places on the beach too next to the hotel. There is happy hours during the day at the pool bar and you get 1+1 on the drinks! The breakfast was good with selections wide enough. We haven’t tried the hotel’s restaurant but ordered room service once and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a top resort experience and we definitely want to come back.

The whole experience at Khao Lak Marriott was wonderful from the moment of arrival, parking our car, assistance with our bags, and an easy check-in. An electric buggy whisked us to our room, which was delightful, immaculately clean, with comfortable beds and bedding. The sandy beach was clean, overlooking the quiet and inviting Andaman Sea, plus the choice of resort pools allowed for some serious or playful swimming. All resort staff were exceptional, helpful, knowledgeable, and always with a warm greeting and a smile. Good buffet breakfast included in the price and wide food choice otherwise available all day at the resort. Thank you, Marriott, for a lovely stay.

Hotel environment is fantastic, Breakfast very nice. Celannes was exelent around the whole Hotel. Beach is nice, there are enough sunbed too. The sea is very warm, but not suitable for snorkeling because of the visibility.

One of the most incredible things about Thailand is how friendly and welcoming its people are. Casacool and Kai, the owner, are living proof of this! I felt so well taken care of and welcomed that I extended my stay from 4 to 8 days. The place has everything you need (dryer, shampoo, water, washing machine, umbrella...), the staff is efficient and friendly, the rooms are super clean and spacious, the bed is comfortable, the location is excellent, the breakfast is delicious and Kai helps you with everything (booking tours, taxis, and even takes you to the beach ;)). I really felt at home. Thank you, Casacool! Hope to see you soon!

Great staff, good to great breakfasts, with enough food assortment to satisfy the kids. Bicycles for free to move around, shuttles to Khao Lak from 10.00 to 16.00 and back from 10.30 to 16.30. Pools and a mini aquapark across the premises to enjoy when the sea is too wavy. No limitations on what you can bring and consume in terms of food/beverages. A good example of staff/management kindness was a case where both shuttle buses for 11.00 were full booked, yet I was granted a shuttle to buy some mangosteens and beers at our last day. Basically, no complaints about the staff, food (breakfasts only since the low season), or spirit of the place - reasonable, clean, comfortable, kind, safe, calm. Recommended for fams with kids.

The hotel is amazing! Everything was great - from the biggest swimming pool to Thai language classes, offered to guests. I liked pool the most - 300 m of clean and warm water :) The food was great both for breakfast and for dinner, with local and European options for every taste and huge choice of cocktails and mocktails. We had the dinner at the beach for St Valentine's day, and the arrangement was terrific - flowers, Chinese lanterns, music, 7-course meal, sparkling vine, etc. Spa treatments are a bit pricey, but of very high quality. Entertainment is very diverse - yoga, pilates, thai box, thai stretching, language classes, batik classes, and many more. The personnel was very helpful at all times.

First of all, a hotel on a beautiful sandy seashore. The beach is very clean. Lots of beautiful Instagram spots. A long beach, it is very pleasant to walk both in the morning and in the evening. The hotel itself has a modern industrial interior. Small but very cozy. Staff with a smile and very helpful. Breakfast for picky eaters, minimal, but definitely enough. If you want more, the main street is full of cafes. Right next to the hotel is an unreal cafe with excellent cuisine and very favorable prices. Next door - laundry, travel agency. Best greetings ! Recomend 100%

So serene and beautiful. The moment you enter Kalima resort its like your dream come true in terms of nature, comfort and peace. Staff is very polite friendly always ready to assist and service is awsome. We heard a lot that food is not good but we got exceptionally excellent food. Breakfast is full of delicacies. We wish to visit Kalima resorts again and again. Crowd/guest are also good. So much of greenery, pool bar, water park slides for childeren, private beach, very clean and good hygiene.

Location is great just a few steps to nang thong beach. All staff is very helpfull and smiley especially Yaya the girl at reception. She helped us for every problem we have and her English is very good. Thank you to her again. The hotel is wonderful, it is planned in such a way that it feels like there are almost no people around, even though there’s no available room in the hotel. Pools are big and clean. Very quiet area, you hear only water splashes and birds singing, so relaxing for your soul and body.

Would have liked to do Khao Sok, and because there's a lot...

Would have liked to do Khao Sok, and because there's a lot to do around Khao Lak, would probably have enjoyed an extra day or two to actually stay on a beach and relax. We hired bikes, perfect for the area, and accessed Surin and Similan islands, snorkelling and scuba. Personally thought Surin and the snorkelling was better. Have fun with the 7-elevens.

This is the place to be if youn want to experience the awesome scuba diving in that area. Khao lak is a quiet laid back little town. You can walk to some of the beaches and they are nice. plenty of restaurants and shops. Not super touristy or loud.
