The breakfast is out of this world. Great local food, all fresh and super trendy. From the healthy juices to the oat banana pancakes, this breakfast is top notch. The hotel is well designed, trendy and focused on details. Staff is very kind and attentive. They do everything to make your stay wonderful. The view from the pool is amazing, the big swing is a nice instagram-worthy picture place and the bar gives you probably one of the best views over Bangkok. I work in the hotel industry and I know when a hotel is a zero or a hero. This one is definitely a hero.

Fantastic Hotel with Amazing Staff – Highly Recommended! Warmest Welcome Ever! I stayed at Amara Bangkok with my two children – first for 3 nights before heading to Koh Samui, and then again for 2 nights before flying home, because we felt so incredibly comfortable and well cared for here. As a mom traveling alone with kids, I’ve honestly never experienced such a warm and heartfelt welcome in a hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and truly went out of their way to make us feel safe and at home. A very special thank you to Raggae, Tong, Toey, Amosin and all the others whose name I don't know – wonderful team members who made our stay absolutely unforgettable. The rooms are spotless, the beds super comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is excellent – with plenty of choice for both adults and kids. The rooftop bar with the infinity pool is a real highlight. And the best part: there’s no pressure to order anything. You can just sit by the pool in the evening and enjoy the breathtaking night view over Bangkok. Without a doubt, the hotel itself is top quality in terms of comfort and facilities – but what truly sets it apart is the amazing staff. They make you feel genuinely welcome and valued, which makes all the difference. We will definitely be back. Amara Bangkok is a fantastic hotel with amazing people. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay and are very thankful since we were met by wonderful service by the friendly staff. We got upgraded to a great room, since the one we got originally, smelled of smoke. Very cool design hotel with lots of interesting interior in the middle of the shopping district in Bangkok. Nice infinity pool. Great breakfast. Since we had to leave before breakfast we also got a nice breakfast bag when we checked out.

The Hotel location is very good. The entrance lobby is very large with a huge chandelier. It is close to so many shopping centers, restaurants and has direct access to the train station via the 2nd floor. The room is large and always kept clean and tidy, with bottled water and other amenities supplied daily. The staff are very helpful and courteous. I will certainly recommend this hotel to all my friends and relatives

I honestly LOVED the Amari Hotel at DM Airport. The hotel could not have been closer to the airport. It is just a one minute walk and you're in! You don't even have to leave the building. The rooms were extremely nice and the hotel was very quiet, comfortable and a great price for the convenience.

Bangkok is a great city!

Bangkok is a great city! The Thai people are kind and welcoming. We ate everywhere from Street food in China town, to Mom&Pop restaurants, and upscale places. Everything we ate was delicious and we never had stomach problems once. The public transit was easy to use and it's affordable to call a car via Grab. The air quality and heat can be a concern at times but we enjoyed our stay in December which is the best time of year.

The location was centralized for the areas I wanted to go and visit. It’s important to keep in mind where you want to eat and where you want to go and see the ancient cities were all around. It was perfect. The location had a beautiful view and the room was excellent.

Wat Don Muan is a nice temple. Beautiful and peaceful. There is a local market near the temple. Interesting to watch around and taste local foods and fruits. People in the market who are selling foods are friendly and kind. Good to observe local people's life even while transit time of the flight.

I stayed near the Victory monument , area which is like a...

I stayed near the Victory monument , area which is like a hub for public transportation so it was very easy to get around for cheap. There s a nice little park nearby the hotel to get away from all the traffic and relax or do some jogging. Not many big shopping centers , around the victory monument the bigest one was the One center which has a few decent restaurants on the 3 rd floor. The hotels are cheaper around this area and you can go anywahere with bts or bus or grab/ bolt or motorbike taxis etc

I had lived in Bangkok for > 10 years, and chose Bangna due to it's easy connection to the airport, good facilities and transport links to the city centre. This stay was at the end of a 3 week road trip covering 3000km. Next time I would plan to stay a few more days in Bangna.

not recommended to book in this hotel. much under...

not recommended to book in this hotel. much under expectation and less standard than the rate and photos in booking. all was bad. Especially the hotel charged me with extra night for the checked out day and withdraw from my bank visa without justification, or mentioning this in the policy of the hotel. when I copmlained to hotel and booking, my money never return back to my bank account for one extra night though the booking.com followed them and they lied saying we transferred the money to my bank account after booking complain without transferring the money for the checked out night they took, or providing providing bank statement of the transfer. I am still trying to get my ony back hopeless since they do not answer my messages sent to the hotel through booing and booking is not replying back to me, no valid number I can contact, or message after several trials. both the hotel and booking does not reply, or have easy access for communication to return the money back and send supporting document of the the transfer. BAD SERVICES FROM BOTH HOTEL AND BOOKING.COM who ignored my request after following it up with the hotel at the beginings and promised the money with be transferred back to my account that had been withdrawn from it the check out night as per their complain and communication with the hotel.

Bang Sue is a nice, offbeat area.

Bang Sue is a nice, offbeat area. It is home to Chatuchak, my favourite market in Bangkok, and the Grand Central Station, where you can catch the train to Vientiane (Laos). Overall, far from the crowds with the true beating heart of Bangkok.

We chose the place for the location quite close to the airport. This would be the only reason to stay here. The rooms are clean and spacious, the price is fair. We would stay again for the last night before leaving Thailand.
