Everything! Kenito is really helpful - knows everything about Sao Tome and speaks perfect English. This place is a great deal and probably too cheap. It is spotless clean, amazing bed and A/C. Lightning wifi. Great pool. Breakfast for 10euro is worth it.

Alex, the owner’s daughter, is an extraordinary host, she helps with all possible questions. Her help is valuable especially for non-Portugese speakers. The hotel is very well run and kept. The room was very clean and comfortable. AC worked without problem. Good Wi-Fi. Very tasty breakfast. The hotel has a nice garden. The hotel is in walking distance from the center of São Tomé.

The employees always smiling and very polite with good recommendations. We felt really welcomed! The swimming pool is beautiful and the breakfast was also very good. Overall we had an amazing experience, also received an upgrade as we were on our honey moon.

The place is perfectly clean. The people in reception were very helpful, although the frequent blackouts in Sao Tomé make their life rather complicated. A place close to the airport. Good breakfast despite of early time of our departure.

Great value for money. Central location, good room size, A/C worked perfectly, clean room with good water pressure...nice balcony to watch the life below. The lady owner didn't speak English well but nothing Google Translate can't resolve. The staff were very helpful and friendly. On one day I found complementary pastries in my room which was a nice touch. There is a nice supermarket next door that has everything you may need. I was able to walk in the night to get some food. It is safer than it may look at night. Some guests have reported noise feom cars on the street...didn't really affect me as I always carry ear plugs. It is easier to wear them than silence the world. Overall a pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel.

I had a throughout positive experience at Miramar! Later during this trip, I also stayed at the other Pestana hotel (to my great regret!), and after checking out both of them, I would definitely recommend to chose the Miramar. Airport pick up was swift and smooth. The room was basic, but super clean and sweet, with all commodities (including toiletries) and a VERY (I mean VERY) comfortable mattress. The staff was accommodating and friendly, as well as knowledgeable and helpful including when I had to ask some extras due to food restrictions, or seeking directions. I loved the fruit plates (great variety of fruits) and generally the decent choice of foods in the restaurant (way richer than the other Pestana Hotel in STP!!). I also appreciated the tranquillity, unlike at the other Pestana. Last but not least, the coconut mousse was a delight, hugely recommended. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
