Slovenialt’s a second time we have been to Hiša Ančka. We love to come back. We feel like they caressed our souls after daily routine.
The host is extremely kind, the service is above the level of expectations !- standard of the room, special unique amenities, the food delicious…The open buffet breakfast is a paradise for tasting home made Slovenian food. l highly recommend it, especially for skiing escape, spa relaxing or cycling around. We are definatelly coming back.

The farm is located in the middle of nowhere, at the end of a long and winding road and in a stunning location at the top of a hill close to lots of forests. The property is ideal for MTB, mountain bikers who want to ride the Jamnica trails as it lies maybe 300m from the trails and we kept passing by every time we went up to the top of the hills to start another ride. We were also able to call in to change clothes or charge eBike batteries. This is a good alternative to the Eco bike hotel, if that is already fully booked etc. Our hosts cooked us a 3-course meal each evening and gave us a hearty breakfast each morning and there is a fridge full of local drinks e.g. Beer, Wines, Apple juice, Schnapps etc for the evenings and a terrace to sit and chill.

The breakfast was included and was very fulfilling. Breakfast time was agreeable on site. Dinner was pre-purchased through e-mail - the menu included traditional, delicious Slovenian food. The interior was very traditional and antique (smell of antique furniture was present but nothing too intrusive), left a big and lasting impression (please, keep the hotel interior like that!). The communication with the staff (owner) onsite and through e-mail was very easy and quick. Their kindness was appreciated. Highly recommended if you want a getaway or stop between Lake Bled/Maribor or just hang around close to the ski fields.

Spectacular view from the apatment.Perfect choice if you want to escape from the noise and people. You can hike nearby, no need to go anywhere by car. Your dogs are welcome. Lenart is very kind and live next to the apartment.

Very small but lovely town.
Very small but lovely town. Came here for the surrounding hills, mountains, and forests, so we got what we wanted. On the negative side: restaurants. They were fine but we couldn't find Slovenian cuisine. I can eat Neapolitan pizza or American BBQ anywhere in the world but here we found the first real authentic restaurant offering proper Slovene mushroom soup, local dishes, and pear-filled dumplings in Sentanel (Gostisce Marin - Miler - Awesome, 10/10! - you should book in advance, the village is so small they don't run an open kitchen)

However, the room service was poor (no room service during our stay), and the person handling the rooms worked at very odd hours. We didn’t receive new towels, so I had to ask a waitress, who brought us some. They should not raise the prices before they solve room service and breakfasts.
The breakfasts were not to our taste—there weren’t enough vegetables, and there was too much white bread.
Shops were close and good enough.
Tip: There’s a more affordable restaurant at the end of Prevalje village that offers good food. (good Burgers, good pizzas, just dont try Rice) The waitress there is exceptionally attentive and provides excellent service, making the experience even more enjoyable. (check the Photos below for burgers)
This place is quite close to the epic bike park Petzen.
Traveling to the rest of the Slovenia is quite demanding from here.

We stayed here for one night. It was amazing! The house is newly renovated and it is a combination between modern and old. The kids had a lot of room to explore the surroundings of the house. The host was very very friendly and helped us a lot. He went above and beyond for us to feel welcome and have a great time there. He even got us ice cream, because ours melted :D
A great experience, would definitely recommend it.

Small and quiet town with hospitable people. A green place surrounded by high and unique mountains that are worth visiting, but what makes it special is the K24 Ultra Trail event that is held every year. Just worth a visit.

My husband and I recently had the most incredible time at this place. I cannot express how wonderful our experience was!
Firstly, the owner, Peter, is an absolute gem. His kindness and gentleness added a personal touch that made our stay truly special. He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.
The food at the hotel is nothing short of AMAZING! Each dish was a delightful culinary experience, and the variety on the menu exceeded our expectations.
Moreover, the level of cleanliness and comfort at the hotel is exceptional. Every corner was immaculate, and the cozy atmosphere made it a pleasure to come back to our room after a day of exploration.
Our stay at this Boutique Hotel was, without a doubt, the best time ever. We're already planning our next visit to Slovenia and eagerly anticipating the warm hospitality, delicious food, and the overall wonderful experience.
