United KingdomWe had such a wonderful time in Kozana. The apartment is beautiful and spacious, with sprawling views over the Brda region and a huge terrace for eating outside. Erika was a fantastic hostess, providing us with fresh apricots and local wine and a top restaurant recommendation for dinner. Couldn't recommend highly enough for couples or families wanting to stay in the Brda region. Our only regret was not staying for longer!

HungaryIt's a place of wonder. There is a beautiful landscape all around you with grape everywhere. The guesthouse is like an old curia. The hosts make you feel like you were real princes or princesses. Make sure to taste their own wine. It's one of the best we've ever tasted. Hopefully we could come back sometime.

AustraliaLocation was amazing!!! Great view, and privacy was good. My partner enjoyed the satellite tv for sport. Bathroom was luxurious and spacious. Bed was super comfortable. Extra pillows and blankets available in the cupboard. Host was super helpful, particularly with local advice. Close to two really nice restaurants and a few wineries (would recommend checking out Aleksander wines, they were a short walk away and very generous with the tasting experience). Would have stayed longer if the property was still available.

We loved everything about it. The apartment was lovely - fully equipped kitchen, air con in every room, comfy beds, good WiFi, nicely decorated. Bathroom was spacious and modern with a great shower.
We had a double room with a terrace that overlooked the vineyards. It was amazing to sit out there for our morning coffee and again in the evening with a glass of wine.
Location is near to all the local wineries, but you definitely need a car to get around. There are restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk down the road.
The host was really friendly and helpful.
This place is perfect for a romantic getaway. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the Slovenian wine region.

The views of the wineries in the region from the pool and restaurants were amazing.
The Bužinel Rebula wine was our favourite from a few of the different wineries that we tried.
The whole operation is a small family run business and it was great getting to know a few of the hosts as they were so friendly.
Both restaurants Bužinel Bistro and Tavarneta had amazing food and wine. The breakfast at Tavarneta was an amazing way to start the day

The location is great. You can park in the town square and have a 1 min walk. The property is beautiful, very private, great big room. Very clean. Pool is just as you need it. You have amazing view on Brda- town Biljana straight ahead when you are sipping on a coffee. The breakfast options are all you need. The both ladies were so nice and they are really hard workers. I would highly recommend visiting this place.

We had an amazing stay at Zoi Apartments in Goriška Brda, often called the "Slovenian Tuscany." Luca, the host, was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Our No. 5 apartment offered a breathtaking private view of the vineyards and rolling hills, and the ample parking space made everything convenient (we arrived with a bigger van). Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway!

Amazing property, the best view of the wonderful vineyards in the area, beautiful modern rooms and furniture, AC, lively pool and poolside area, spectacular breakfast and the best host you could ask for. We thank you for a wonderful stay and we will for sure be back!

The host was very nice and helpful! Delicious breakfasts. Nice and specious room. Shared fridge so no noise in the room. Air conditioning was working fine. AMAZING VIEW. You really go there to rest and chill out. You can go for a walk to Sabotin. Really nice place :)

We really liked our stay! Great experience staying there for a night in a beautiful vineyard, there is a small restaurant with delicious food and winepairing that we really loved! Also the view from the balcony is marvelous!

Dobrovo was a very nice area with some nice wineries, highly recommend Edi Simcic ~ Felix was amazingly fun. It was rainy during our stay, so we will unable to do ebikes, however this would be a great activity in better weather. Belvin was a nice restaurant nearby with grilled meats and vegetables, along with salads and pizza. Maravida House is a great Airbnb with a wonderful property (3 rooms) and a very kind and helpful host, Jacob!

Super quaint and tiny.
Super quaint and tiny. Loved it and the views but super quiet mid week - the town was pretty empty except for other travelers. Resto options limited mid week - so plan ahead and do your research. There’s a grocery store ~2 miles away and a bakery en route to the grocery story so you can stock up there if you need to. I’d def recommend Šmartno - but shoulda planned to be there on a Thur or Fri evening (not Tue and Wed) to get a different vibe. Wine bar in town is wonderful, as is the olive bar restaurant (tiny!! All home made!). We also hired a private wine guide one afternoon (Slocally) thoroughly recommend!!

The nature was stunning, and the locals were amiable and calm. The local wine and olive oil were delicious. I suggest you try a Briška Hiša for dinner or late lunch. Just plan your trips ahead, and don't trust Google Maps, as it has led me through some very wrong turns.

A beautiful village in an amazing location.
A beautiful village in an amazing location. If you want Tuscany without the crowds, come here! We stayed for a week and I'm glad we had this much time as there was so much to do. Every day we went for a long walk or we rented e-bikes so we could explore even more of this beautiful region. Also recommend the wine tasting at Klet Brda in Dobrovo as it's great value. A few things to note: Public transport isn't frequent, so our host graciously picked us up from the train station and we hired a driver to take us to the train station on our departure. Groceries are availabe in Dobrovo and Kojsko.
