A spacious and comfortable apartment with everything needed for a short or long stay. Beautiful location on top of a hill with a view of the center of Cerkno. Very kind hosts who are always available if you need anything.

Super clean, very spacious, well equipped appartment with a lovely big garden to sit outside, both shade and sun and an AMAZING view across the mountains. Comfortable beds. The owners are super nice and friendly. If you are looking for a relaxed, quiet holiday with lots of nature and hiking possibilities, this is the place to be! Make sure you buy your groceries in Cerkno before coming up the hills though :) When in the area, make sure you visit the following two super interesting places: 1) Franja Partisan Hospital (Slovene: Partizanska bolnica Franja), a clandestine hospital from WWII. You can drive to the parking or reach it within 1 hour by foot from the appartment. 2) a guided tour through the mercury mine in Idrija There is a public beach spot at the Idrija river which is super cool to swim and hang out. Clean water! It is called Območje Lajšt.

Booked well in advance with the full payment being processed at the time of making reservation. Price included cleaning service fee, but excluded local tourist tax, which is payable at the check in. Extra charge for a dog applies at the cost of 16 euros per night. All information regarding any additional payments provided when making payment, though it requires to read everything carefully before proceeding to payment, which is quite obvious, but not for everyone after reading some reviews. If planning to arrive after it gets dark, make sure you get an electronic tracker from the reception at the Cerkno Hotel in Cerkno, which is located around half hour uphill / downhill drive from Alpska Perla. Trying to arrive to Alpska Perla in darkness without this tracker or knowledge of local roads is almost impossible, because all satellite navigation redivert through either gravel or non-existent roads. Roads are narrow and curvy, but this is what to expect from accommodation that is almost 1300 metres above see level. Outside skiing season reception is opened at Alpska Perla only on weekends. During our stay in the biggest apartment at Alpska Perla, which could host 10 people, staff at the reception appeared to be very helpful and understanding. We could check in, and make adjustments to our booking the day after our arrival. Passports or other form of photographic IDs are required to get checked-in, and this is very straightforward process. Our two-leveled apartment was very spacious and had enough room to accommodate 10 people. All beds appeared to be very comfortable apart od foldable sofa beds, of which quality is a little bit questionable, but okay to sleep for someone of the light body built. There were two bathrooms with shower cabins, one of them had two bathroom sinks, and well equipped kitchen block. Hob in the kitchen block was slow to warm up but good enough to heat up food or prepare basic meal.

Perfect locaton for us ( we came from Trtnik-Podbrdo- Dom na Poreznu- Hospital Franja - House GostisceGacnik v Logu ) and who is near this place I recomanded to stay here and see the beauty nature and eat home made food and specialitets, so WE STAY ONE MORE NIGHT HERE Perfect and kindly personal Excellent food-HOME MADE WITH NOFORGET TASTE Perfect room with own bathroom .....

Very nice place. Everything is extremely clean. There is a lot of space. We were with 4 children. Sauna and jacuzzi complete the experience. We will definitely be back.
