Quiet location, but not too far from eateries and shops. The hotel is immaculate and the host is very proud of his hard work, and it shows. We had a fantastic nights sleep in very comfortable beds. If you're staying in Laxå, you must stay here.

Everything!! The location right at the train station was excellent for us. The after hours checknin was easy, theres a lift if you have luggage and thr rooms are spacious. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was good. The breakfast ans breakfast area were incredible. The staff person was friendly and gave us tips on where to visit in our short time here.

The design, vibe, the location and people who receaved us were outstanding. When we arrived it was the afternoon allready and tje most pleasant greating was a cake with coffee or tea served, which was ( we didnt know) included in our stay price. The decent brekfast and dinner aswell.

Jan, our host, was one of the nicest people we’ve ever stayed with and truly went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome, comfortable, and completely at home. We really loved the self-service breakfast and the flexibility of being able to enjoy it at any time. It made lazy mornings and “morning afters” feel relaxed and totally stress-free. The hot water was excellent, and the heating could be easily adjusted to suit our own comfort level, which made a big difference. One of the highlights of our stay was stepping outside on our first day to see three beautiful deer in the garden — something we certainly don’t see back home in England, making it a truly exceptional experience. The views over the garden and river were lovely, and despite the nearby road, the property remained peaceful and quiet throughout our stay. Really good communication and recommendations for Salon for a wedding we were attending. We would definitely stay here again.

The unique architecture style, well preserved. A combination of old and new. People's diversity and nature! The down side: there are many things in construction or under reparations at the moment. I believe the government should invest more as Örebro has the potential to become a 'Disney Wonderland' kind of adventure.

Nora is a small town which I have visited on a number of occasions visiting family. I have traveled there in all four seasons with summer being the best by far as there is a lot more to do. The town is extremely quiet out of season. Its location is easy to access being 30 minutes from Orebro and 2 hours 30 - 3 hours from Stockholm and Gothenberg. Flights from London Stansted to Orebro by Ryan Air are as cheap as £14.99 each way so if traveling on a budget have a loo at this option.

We arrived in our foreign car. Please be mindful of where you park. Adhering to parking rules will ensure everything goes smoothly. Fines in Sweden can be quite severe. You will find markets where you can buy everything you need.

It is difficulty to review Degerfors as a holiday...

It is difficulty to review Degerfors as a holiday destination because I look upon the town as my Swedish home. I came here on an international student exchange to work at the steelworks 60 years ago. I arrived as a stranger and left feeling like a member of the community, such was my welcome both at work and by the friendly folk of Degerfors. Since then, I have returned regularly, sometimes alone and often with members of my family. On this visit my wife and I celebrated our 57th wedding anniversary. Visitors do need to be aware that bus travel is the only regular public transport during the day. Extensive rail works at Karlstad have limited the train service to one morning and evening service to Stocholm and Karlstad with rail replacement buses during the day and all weekend.

Beautiful clean city 😩 lovely people and great places to visit. I’ve stayed in both the Scandic Hotel near the station (lovely and modern) and The Elite Stora Hotel (central, older building, clean and friendly staff) The castle is wonderful and so are the cakes!

Nora is a lovely typical old Scandinavian town. Various things to see including a small railway museum, several antique shops, boat trip to the island(free) and only about 1/2 hour by road to the city.

The timeline monument of Örebro and Sweden history at...

The timeline monument of Örebro and Sweden history at Järntorget really got me. In swedish though, but still fascinating. The statues and artwork around The city - a giant duck made by old Rubber wheels! Have to come back and explore Wadköping that I visited as a Youtube...
