There were big towels both for bath and swimming pool, robes and all what is needed for self-catering. The breakfast was simple, but good enough. We were lucky to enjoy tasty papaja, ananas and other local fruits. Room cleaning was at the highest level! The Mountain View is stunning.

From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality of the staff made me feel welcome and at home. The property itself is stunning, with beautifully designed rooms that offer breathtaking views of the lush surroundings and the ocean. Each morning, I was treated to a spectacular sunrise that set the perfect tone for the day.
The amenities at Chateau Elysium were top-notch. I particularly enjoyed the tranquil pool area, which provided a perfect escape after busy days filled with maritime activities.
Location-wise, Chateau Elysium is conveniently situated, making it easy to explore nearby attractions and beaches. Whether you want to relax on the sandy shores or engage in water sports, everything is just a stone's throw away.

Everything to be commented positively only - as there was nothing I would need to complain about. It all started with pleasant boat transfer from the jetty from Mahe, nice crew, lovely welcome, absolutely amazing staff (all of them!!!), we came in early, and they let us in our villa earlier, which was great. Also the last day as our flight was later in the afternoon, we were allowed to stay longer than the standard check-out hours. I had birthday on the thay we came, very nice surprise from the staff - a cake in the villa plus nice wishes on the freshly made bed. Villas are unique, as the whole island, food is of a great quality - the cook is simply professionalist. This is not a type of accomodation I could often afford, but i am very happy I have chosen this specific resort and island to be the "best for the end" to finish our anniversary holiday with my husband , as the expecience from all aspects was just fantastic. So thank you, people there, I will not forget! You are doing a great job! :) Sending greetings from the Czech republic - me, your satisfied and happy customer :)

We spent the last three nights of our stay in Seychelles here, and we truly enjoyed it.
The staff made our visit unforgettable. A special mention goes to Chamara Coorey, who was exceptionally kind, attentive, and professional. He genuinely took care of us, always made sure we were comfortable, and went above and beyond to make our stay feel personal and special. His hospitality made a huge difference, and we are truly grateful for his dedication.
Our room was beautiful—modern, clean, and very comfortable. The balcony with an ocean view was a lovely highlight and the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery.
Despite the renovation work, the hotel atmosphere remained welcoming and enjoyable. We felt very well looked after and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Seychelles.
Thank you to the entire team, especially Chamara, for ending our trip on such a high note—we would gladly come back!

It is a great hotel, with outstanding ocean view. It is easy to get there from the airport, by taxi or by local bus, which stops 2 minute walk from the hotel. It has as well nice swimming pool. The personel is very nice, friendly, always willing to help. It's location is perfect , a short walk from the Royal Anse Beach. There is also a nice restaurant in the hotel, serving great Indian food. I strongly recomend that place and for sure will book the accomodation again if ever again in Mahe.

We loved our stay at one of Fleur de Sel’s bungalows. It was very spacious, great for self catering and barbecuing (kitchen was well equipped and we didn’t miss anything) and Ms Tatiana took excellent care of us, checking in every morning to see if we miss anything. Location was great, close to the airport and also great beaches in the less populated side of the island. Stores and restaurants within walking distance, really couldn’t ask for more. Don’t hesitate to book this great property!

I had a huge room with outstanding distance from the ocean. The breakfast perfect, many selection and no limit (at least I could not reach), and there is a bar area 24/7 with lightning at night to chill and talk at night too.
Rockpool trail starts from here, the food is delicious and marvellous beach.
Everything closes at 8PM in Seychelles.

Unfortunately, my experience on Mahé was far from what I expected. The island simply didn’t leave a positive impression on me. Despite its natural beauty, I found very little that would make me want to return. The overall atmosphere didn’t suit me, and the destination felt overrated compared to many other places I’ve visited around the world.
I honestly wouldn’t come back to Mahé, and I wouldn’t choose the Seychelles again as a travel destination.

Absolutely not! 1. coCkroaches and ants in a room. Unpleasant welcoming. Was trying to solve issue asked for manager who never showed up. Not even one time we got a bottle of water at the beach. And you can’t swim as bottom is very stony (shoes do not help) so
Only do snorkeling but swimming is impossible and no one were swimming just chilling at shoe line. I would never back to this hotel again.

Port Glaud is a very nice part of Seychelles. Not as busy as the North East coast near Victoria which is nicer in my opinion. Driving around the Seychelles can be a bit of an experience - my advice is to let any ‘tail gaters’ pass you.
Park up and walk to the local beaches. Visit the waterfall near the picturesque church - very nice for photos etc.

Probably one of the best and nicest beaches I’ve ever seen. With white soft sand, clean beaches, plenty of places to hide in the natural shade. No seaweed, very few people and plenty of walking distance. Just perfect for a beautiful suntan and sunset.

Plenty of bars and restaurants to visit with choices from takeaway creole style dishes to mid budget Italian, Indian restaurants and higher budget restaurants with fish, Italian, Japanese options. Good snorkelling and scuba diving options available from the 6-8 dive centres. Also some water sport facilities such as paddle board.

Mahe is very busy so if you do not like a quiet getaway this Island is for you. There are various beaches to visit, museums and art galleries. Be mindful of public holidays, many places are closed. Saturdays are half day and Sundays they closed. Plan your stay and excursions so you are aware of what will be open and when. Food is great, visit the Boat House and Beach Shack at Beau Vallon.
