Receiving a great service from before arrival is what made me rush into reviewing this hotel before our vacation was over. Now that it is over, I can say that the staff of Millennium Al Masar is the perfect reflection of what personalised 5-star service feels like. Everybody recognized us daily and knew of our preferences by heart. I would like to pay special thanks to the boys at the pool, life guard Hashim, who knew we what we needed daily during our pool time, for example a bow of tissues, and every time he saw us he was bringing what we wished for to us without waiting for us to ask. Also, Hashim Ashraf is the one who rushed into bringing us a bowl of rice when one of our phones dropped into the swimming pool. Both of these gentlemen were a huge contribution to making our vacation special and personal. Moreover, Mrs. Fatmah, the front office manager, was extremely friendly and helpful at all times, especially a day before departure when because the occupancy of the hotel allowed her to, she offered to help us with a late check-out as our flight back home was not until very late the next day. When we needed to find trips and nice beaches in Jeddah everybody came to our help, including the general manager, Mrs. Mashael. Reem and Razeed (front desk agent and concierge) were there for our needs finding locations outside the hotel. Mr. Hassanin from the concierge department was always greeting and welcoming us with a smile, which means a lot during your vacation. It is extremely nice to find a place where everybody knows what true luxury is and should feel like, and no matter how beautiful the hotel is, and it’s rooms, if the staff does not treat you right, it would be for nothing. Every time we would call housekeeping they would be right at our door with whatever we would ask for. Thank you Al Masar team for making our stay an unforgettable one.

Most welcoming staff I have ever come across - specially the receptionist Abdullah Al-Ghanem made us feel very comfortable :) Service: The delicious Arabic coffee and dates available at reception anytime - made our day :) Location: Great location! Next to a big Mosque. Super close to Haram with taxi (10min) - and local bus (5 min walk from hotel which cost 4riyals!) Many restaurants and shops around! Made it easy to try local food :) Room: The room was spacious and clean! There was no cleaning routine - but they cleaned anytime you wanted and very neatly! Nevertheless the hotel had great scent at all time ☺️

They took immediate action to address the issue and went above and beyond to ensure that I had the best experience possible. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and the general manager, who were attentive, courteous, and genuinely committed to providing exceptional service. The flight was Saudia flight SV260 travelling from Istanbul...

The flight was Saudia flight SV260 travelling from Istanbul Airport (IST) to Jeddah (JED) on the 16th of December 2025 Booking reference BUK-34469268. On the day of travel, I was already ready and within the boarding zone prior to gate closure. Due to congestion inside the gate seating area, there was no available space to remain directly at the gate, and passengers were required to use nearby seating areas. At no point was my name or my family’s name announced over the public address system. This is important because loudspeakers are installed throughout the boarding zone, including within toilet facilities. A final boarding announcement would have been clearly hearable to us and would have allowed us to proceed immediately to the gate. Also, the flight information display screens did not show a “Final Call” which is the standard visual indicator that boarding is about to close. My daughter was suffering from a urinary infection on the day of travel, requiring urgent and repeated toilet use. We were therefore in the toilet facilities directly opposite the boarding gate, close of the departure area. I can provide evidence of prescribed medication if required. Upon realising the gate was closed, we were directed between multiple desks and locations by airline and airport staff, who were and unhelpful. This caused distress for me and my family, resulting in financial loss including missed onward arrangements and rebooking costs. When we approached Saudia gate staff for assistance, we were informed that they could not help us further and were told to buy an alternative flight with Turkish Airlines. No rebooking assistance, options, or guidance were given by Saudia staff. I respectfully ask that you try recovery or compensation to the fullest extent possible on my behalf. Nope. Not the Jeddah I lived in 30 years back. Things are so bad that they no longer have face tissue boxes. Instead they have napkins. Roads are just as I saw them 30 years back. Bad, pathetic and at best filthy.

Variety of foods and very tasty. Khayal restaurant is very nice and highly recommended. Moving around is very easy especially using Careem (similar to Grab). The drivers are very accommodating to our request.

The receptionist ask me we are for checkout after 3 days of checkin even still we have 5 days remaining in our booking and he argue with us i show him the reciept of my booking then he realized its not us and he even not say sorry for us.And the bathroom is so dirty we are the one clean and kettle is not working we need to tell them not working

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly,

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly, Hotel is in a narrow, uphill dead end street hard to reach,, it is only 15 mins away but slope makes it difficult, Shuttle service is not reliable, very limited food options in breakfast and dinner (arabic taste only), no good food options available around the hotel. Would not recommend .

It's good to have a place to stay where staff are...

It's good to have a place to stay where staff are accommodating and people nearby the location are great which they were of our same nationality(actually some of them) so at least to inquire for some info since we were a first time visit on the said place

I am not going to recommend this place to anyone because no...

I am not going to recommend this place to anyone because no customer service and you have to wait for elevator for long. Room is so dirty and bathroom was not good at all. Bidet was leaking whole time we asked them but they failed to fix it too. We have to ask so many times for toilet paper but they don’t want to give us and shower situation was bad too. In simple words they don’t care about anything even you ask them to help or fix anything

MECCA IS NOT A TOURIST DESTINAITON. IT IS A GREAT RELIGIOUS PLACE WITH ALL FACILITIES SO CAN NOT COMPARE WITH TOURISTIC AREAS- VERY WELL EQUIPPED BUT AS ALWAYS AL HAMDULILAH VERY CROWDED- HAVING A HOTEL NEXT TO HARAM IS EXPENSIVE BUT WORTH IT SO YOU ACTUALLY PRAY IN HARAM ALL PRAYERS
