A very calm and peaceful place to relax in harmony with nature. The staff is invaluable — for example, I have leg prosthetics, but everything went perfectly as they arranged food delivery directly to our tent. The food is delicious, and the service is quick. The sunrises are simply incredible! I can truly recommend this place!

We had an amazing time at Ihema Lodges! This place far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived until check-out we felt truly looked after. The rooms were clean and comfortable with nice details throughout. Enjoying dinner with a beautiful backdrop of the lake was a highlight in itself. The staff was very helpful and flexible and made preparing for our safari in Akagera National Park a breeze. We already miss the tranquility and calm of Ihema and will be sure to return soon. I cannot even express the gratitude I have for people and this place! They went above and beyond, do not hesitate to stay here, dont bother looking anywhere else, this is the place to stay, the rooms are immaculate, they washed our clothes, prepared our food which tasted phenomenal, I dream about the tilapia! They went all out for my husbands birthday, arranged for halal meat! Wow! Couldn't believe it! Best hotel ive ever stayed in, truly and I have travelled the world, they even organised our tour for the national park, exceptional! Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone!
