Beautiful hotel in a very central location. It is right on the main town promenade. There are many restaurants, shops and cafes nearby. The hotel has a classic look on the outside and then is tastefully decorated in a more modern classic look inside. Breakfast was quite good, parking was good, spa was beautiful and staff exceptional throughout the hotel.

Excellent location, incredibly attentive staff (in particular, the doorman and reception staff!) Our room was magnificent - spacious, clean and exceeded our expectations. Lovely and warm welcome by reception staff, the young man was very friendly. Hotel is very clean and fresh, rooms very cosy and clean! Communication with hotel about the booking was very professional!Although it was just a short stay I will definitely come back again!

Large very old house but modernised to high standard whilst retaining antique features, including 21cm long cast iron door locks. Good sized room with equally good sized bathroom with best shower that I have encountered with overhead and hand controls and seating area. Although no air-con the thick walls kept the room relatively cool, the temperature only slowly rising to 28° during my 6 day stay in an intense heat wave of 42°. Room had fridge stocked with drinks, wall safe, excellent WiFi and multi-channel t.v. but signal was lost on last 2days. Easy outside on-site parking. Friendly host. Although 2km from town centre the road to the hotel is straight. Well established swimming pool with children's pool next door (800din/7€ entrance)
