A large, classic Serbian city. Relatively clean.
A large, classic Serbian city. Relatively clean. I noticed the young women who were very nicely dressed and beautiful. The city is not worth more than a night's transit. The city center is a pedestrian street and a circular square, and that's about it. I don't know of any tourist attractions, I stayed in Cacak for an afternoon and a night. There is no mall for shopping, but there is a shopping area called Stop Shop, about half an hour's walk from the city center. I was impressed by the footprints of children painted on the sidewalks leading to the school and kindergarten.

Amidst the verdant landscape, numerous monasteries beckon with homemade delights, while locals tantalize palates with traditional Serbian fare, best savored at places like "Kod Odje." A highlight not to be missed is the enchanting Banjski potok spring, a true marvel of nature. Guca festival was a fantastic experience. The hotel took advantage and raised the price to an astronomic level. That is OK - but then I expect the room to be like the pictures shown on booking.com.
We found a worn down, downright stinky hotel room with horrible beds.
Breakfast was included. W arrived 40 minutes after breakfast was opened - and found that nothing was left. They offered us to pay for a nice breakfast at the hotel's restaurant. Of course we declined.

The accommodation was pleasant. The hosts are very friendly and open to conversation.
Čačak is interesting city for a walk arround the city. They have a large city park with a rampart and plenty of sports fields. The city museum is worth a visit and the tickets are extremely affordable (less than 1 EUR per person). I'm still shocked by this price.
Near the accommodation there is a restaurant and pizzeria, as well as an excellent supermarket that also sells cooked meals (KMN store). Of course, there are also fast foods and cafes nearby. We had the option to borrow bikes to enjoy riding on flat Čačak, but we didn't use it because of our other commitments.
There are a lot of exchange offices in the city, and some are open even on Sundays. ATMs are everywhere so cash is easy to come by. Most places accept all cards.

This is our third time in Guca!
This is our third time in Guca! We are really into this kind of music, Serbian culture and food! We highly recommend this destination for all those people who love being and feeling alive😜This is a life long experience and as locals say"Jednom se zivi i zivot nema repriza ".... Once in Guca you should try the cooked cabbage /kuvani kupus /and роштиль🍴🍴🍴🍴

We stayed only one night, didn't had time to visit. I recommend Gostionica Mladost - really good food. Even though it seemed that nobody from the staff knew English the waitress that served us was really experienced and took good care of us and made sure that everything is ok.
