The rooms were tastefully decorated, providing a cozy sanctuary to unwind after a day of exploring the stunning surroundings. Every detail had been carefully considered to create a tranquil and comfortable environment. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's amazing spa. Situated amidst the serene mountainous landscape, the spa offered a range of luxurious facilities that left me feeling rejuvenated and refreshed, like indoor and outdoor pool, indoor and outdoor jacuzzi, wet and dry sauna and more other. The spa's tranquil ambiance truly added to the overall experience, allowing me to unwind and escape from the stresses of everyday life. The dining options at the hotel were equally impressive. The restaurant served a variety of delectable dishes, prepared with the highest quality ingredients. The menu showcased both local and international cuisine, providing a culinary experience that satisfied even the most discerning palate. Additionally, the attentive and friendly staff made dining an absolute pleasure, ensuring my needs were met and providing excellent recommendations. A beautiful city with plenty to do and see.

A beautiful city with plenty to do and see. People were very friendly and the food and drink is more than reasonably priced. The Christmas Market is a must. I only wished it was snowing. Still you cannot control the weather!! Thank you Sibiu, and we will be back.

I do not sky so I cannot say anything about this :) About Paltinis, they (as in the leaders of the city/comune etc.) should do more for it. The road to Platinis is great (quality but also the road itseld), the surroundings are absolute gorgeous (mountains, "alpine" plains ...), the other cities around it are also great and full of things to visit ... so indeed is a great place to visit !

Medias is an interesting city but definitely the local authorities could do much better. I was shocked enough to find out that there were no buses connecting the Saxon villages nearby, notably Biertan, where one of the most beautiful fortified churches of Transylvania is located. Not everyone travels by car and not everyone should afford the ridiculous prices of the local taxis.

Avrig in itself is not so great, probably the Bruckental summer palace is the best place in it. But the surroundings are beautiful, and there are plenty of activities and places to visit around (Avrig Valley, Sambata de Sus, Carta..) especially if you include Sibiu city which is really nearby (but then again you can also decide to rather stay in the city itself).

Very big and cozy apartment. Kitchen fully equipped. Bathroom was just great :) The Hotel was closed to some touristic attractions: Cisnadie Fortified Church, Tatu Sadu Trout, Saint Michael's Church in Cisnădioara, ASTRA Museum, Paltinis Sky resort.

location excellent- but be prepare for home made cooking! anyhow the location has all facilities including outside barbecue it was delightful to cook for my children's ...... as for the refrigerator, you have it naturally, the river is in the yard...it flows downhill!!!!!!!!! we cooled down beer, melons, sodas Kenzo Chalet it is wonderful choice in Porumbacu

Cute little village.

Cute little village. Lots of old renovated houses still (and a lot of new villa's on the outskirts) Beautifully situated in the hills facing the old citadel. Loved piscina (pool) Sunshine, you have to know its there cause you reach it over a short village road! A short drive to Muzeul Astra, which is beautiful and hughe. You can easily spent a full day wandering around the beautiful park. If you visit Sibiu you might want to download the questo app and buy one of their online city tours, they are fun and nice. The citadel isjust a short hike up from the village center and is well maintained, great view over the valley

we spend 2 splendid autumn days in Sibiu, a lovely city, with a very interesting historical center, with nice coffee shops and restaurants. we have also visited ASTRA museum: spread over an area of ​​96 hectares, the Museum of Traditional Popular Civilization "ASTRA" in the Dumbrava forest, Sibiu county, is the second largest open-air museum in the world, comprising over 300 buildings, as well as watermills, windmills, giant presses used for wine, fruit, oil and hydraulic structures with architectural features from various regions of Romania.

I love Paltinis!

I love Paltinis! It s the place me and my family learnt to ski 10 years ago, but we all return here with pleasure and joy. The air here is fantastic, clean and pure, the locals are great people always willing to help when need, the food is very tasty, the mountains do make me proud I m Romanian!
