The first thing we liked there was the reception area , very nice and very clean and quiet in the same time
The staff was very polite and very frendly
About housekeeping was spotless and our room where we stayed for 2 nights was very tidy and wonderful with a nice view on the mountains, we have only good words about the property and staff , we look forward to come back soon and spend a lot of quality time in there with family and friends

The breakfast was amazing, prepared by our host herself. The room and bathroom were big, clean and comfortable. The overall feeling of the lovely building was very nice, the kindness of the host shining through. The starting point of the route to Setea Mare peak (and also to Paring for those who like longer hikes) was well withing reach by car - a few minutes maybe. We had a great time. Thanks for all!

It is really nice placed close to amenities. Really nice view from the balcony, big, nice and clean room. Also bathroom big enough and clean and the hotel provide needed toiletries.

Quiet resort in the mountains of Gorj county, Romania.
Quiet resort in the mountains of Gorj county, Romania. Not many "attractions" in summer, but if you are after the mountain view and fresh air it is perfect for couple days stay. Farmer market on the way up from Novaci to Rânca (make sure you bring cash, as the shepherds don't take cards- yet. LOL).

Nice place, pretty simple, clean air, quiet (when no motorcyclists around). Not many "attractions" end of August, but as a busy person in a big city I do appreciate a little slow living now and then, to recharge my batteries. Very good food is available in the area. Organic stuff, homemade style.
