The location is great, the view in our balcony was superb! Indeed, the carpet is old, the bathroom is basic, but we had hot water & heating. Before you guys, give little stars to this hotel, think that the other 4 stars hotels are much more expensive. The area itself is expensive.

The place is amazing. The owner and his family are amazing worming people. The place is really like heaven. It's a new place, quite and beautiful. When we came to the place, they offered us an alcoholic drink that is produced there. They offered us hunny from there bee's farm. They offered us something to eat. The brearkfast is very very good, all the products are made in the farm, sll are natural. They are really wonderful family and we became like a family to them. They got into our hearts. I told them that we will come again for sure. I can't think of one thing that i didn't like. Everything was super and amazing. Don't think twice, just book the place and you will not be disappointed. We love the owner and his family. See you the next time.

I've never stayed somewhere so tranquil before. It was beautiful. So relaxing and cosy. We had a BBQ which we used to make dinner and had everything we needed in the tiny house. The bed was super comfortable and the place was cleaned to perfection. We would definitely stay again. Oh and the dog that lives on the grounds was the sweetest little guy I love him.

We really enjoyed this family run business, the natural friendliness they offer was very nice.We enjoyed having dinner and breakfast at the location, very good food with vegan options as well.The dining area has a beautiful fireplace, paintings on all the walls, a piano... and a lovely view. The rooms are comfortable, ours was overlooking the lake, truly amazing. will stay here again for sure!

We very much enjoyed our time at Pensuinea Almas. It is situated in a beautiful, quiet area, walking distance to visit the nearby monastery. The staff were incredibly kind when we arrived with a sick baby and took such good care of us. The food was delicious and well priced, and a great place for kids with friendly animals and a playground. We were sad we only got to spend one night.

I felt very good and amazed in the same time. The stuff is so friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. The room was so spacious and the bed so so so comfortable and to be honest I've slept better than home, also everything was clean as i wished. I recommend the tea as it's just what you need in a very cold winter.

Very nice city, surrounded by hills and great nature, wonderful weather - not too hot in the summer, snowy in the winter. Has few historical places and museums, nice coffee and cakes' houses, nice shopping places. You can have pleasant trips in the nature - on the hills or near the river, or city trips, in the nice parks, and great meals in the restaurants.

The host was available, but the missing cooking tools, no laundry detergent/ no pegs, it was very limiting to enjoy the stay. The host has also cut short our stay and couldn't even enjoy our last breakfast as she came at 6:30 AM overseeing us.

City close to do many places to visit: fortress, many monasteries with their tranquility and museums ( Agapia, Varatec, Neamt, Sihastria, Sécu, Sihla any many others) , bison reservation, memorial houses ( Ion Creanga, Veronica Micle , Vlahuta , Popa) . There is history at every step. You just need to be mindful of it. Very good food and terrasses . Near by are mountains with natural reservation parks if you like to hike .

Perfect for a 3 days escape, we always make this 3 hours car trip to Durau to relax, as a getaway from the city, it is like a tradition. You have everything in place, always availabilities for room booking, great view and sightseeing, good place to eat, a whole day can be spent outside! You won't feel time passing by! Try it!

At some 7 km of each Varatec (village) and Targu Neamt (small town), Agapia is a small village neighboring many orthodox monasteries. Clean, with many flowers, good roads, lots of guest houses, some groceries and a few restaurants.

An incredible area to travel for holiday.

An incredible area to travel for holiday. Book a house, then enjoy the mountain. There are lots of places to go, among them I will mention the lake (obviously), Cheile Bicazului and Lacul Rosu. You can buy food from Bicaz and make a meal in your kitchen, or a BBQ. You can ride a boat on the lake, or a kayak. Eat fresh fish on the side of the lake, love the view.

Lovely town, surrounded by hills.

Lovely town, surrounded by hills. See the historical town center and go to long walks in the nature right in the city - either on Cozla hill, Pietricica hill or near the river Bistrita (highly recommended). Nice Shopping Center, easily accessed by bus. Nice market, in the summer you can buy forest fruits that are picked by the locals.

The hotel is very nice, there is a parking place just in front of the hotel. Around the hotel, five minutes walk there are a lot of nice places to eat. In the hotel is a good restaurant, too. On my next visit I will ask a room that does not has a view to the national road E85. I am surprised that even the rooms have nice big insulated glass windows, you can hear everything even the voices of the youth that are spending the night in the park in front of the hotel. And all the night a lot of cars.
