We had a fabulous 3 night stay at Tesa. Nestled in the beautiful Romanian country just at the very edge of Targu Neamț. Tesa hotel screams luxury from start to finish. Check-in was a breeze and we were relaxing into our incredible room in no time. There is ample parking and due to the location, Tesa makes for an idyllic place to call home for a stay. The room and facilities are 5* there is little more to say. There has been no expense spared when it came to construct and design this beautiful hotel. The unexpected and delightful surprise of included breakfast was further bonus points for Tesa. The dining hall is regal and stunning, food is fresh and of high quality. We can’t wait to return on our next visit to the area. We’ll be back!!

I booked this hotel for my parents and sister, and they had an amazing time. The lady at the reception (night shift) was super nice and attentive. We couldn’t open the door, and she immediately came herself to fix it. The apartment was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. I wish they could have stayed longer because the hotel was truly amazing. The communication via WhatsApp was amazing as well. Until next time!

A beautiful, well maintained property facing the lake. We took the deluxe room and stayed here with our two teenage boys. The room is decent sized. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom is good size and has great fittings. The room & bedroom is decorated aesthetically. The view from our room was superb. It had a terrace. There was no AC in our room but the weather was lovely so we didn’t face any problem as we kept the door open. There is no elevator and that means you have to carry your bags up. They have their own restaurant and food was good. We were her only for 1 night unfortunately to enjoy the views. Breakfast was ok. No bread slices, only bun. All in all, everything is great just if the road is done well,

The location is great, the view in our balcony was superb! Indeed, the carpet is old, the bathroom is basic, but we had hot water & heating. Before you guys, give little stars to this hotel, think that the other 4 stars hotels are much more expensive. The area itself is expensive.

We had a lovely time at Lido , location is very good as we have the train station just behind the hotel and also the bus station is very close, about 5-10 minutes to walk to city centre and the staff was very nice and friendly.

Very nice city, surrounded by hills and great nature, wonderful weather - not too hot in the summer, snowy in the winter. Has few historical places and museums, nice coffee and cakes' houses, nice shopping places. You can have pleasant trips in the nature - on the hills or near the river, or city trips, in the nice parks, and great meals in the restaurants.

The host was available, but the missing cooking tools, no laundry detergent/ no pegs, it was very limiting to enjoy the stay. The host has also cut short our stay and couldn't even enjoy our last breakfast as she came at 6:30 AM overseeing us.

Perfect for a 3 days escape, we always make this 3 hours car trip to Durau to relax, as a getaway from the city, it is like a tradition. You have everything in place, always availabilities for room booking, great view and sightseeing, good place to eat, a whole day can be spent outside! You won't feel time passing by! Try it!

City close to do many places to visit: fortress, many monasteries with their tranquility and museums ( Agapia, Varatec, Neamt, Sihastria, Sécu, Sihla any many others) , bison reservation, memorial houses ( Ion Creanga, Veronica Micle , Vlahuta , Popa) . There is history at every step. You just need to be mindful of it. Very good food and terrasses . Near by are mountains with natural reservation parks if you like to hike .

The Bicaz Lake area is nice for nature lovers - a lake with an interesting history, surrounded by splendid mountains. You have the option to do everything by car, access nice restaurants or, at the same time, go into nature, hike, make tours by boat (also on your own).

July and August weekends are too crowded, better to come Monday to Friday on holiday months. The mountain routes are very beautiful, Bicaz and Bicajel gorges are fantastic and there are one or two decent restaurants

Lovely town, surrounded by hills.

Lovely town, surrounded by hills. See the historical town center and go to long walks in the nature right in the city - either on Cozla hill, Pietricica hill or near the river Bistrita (highly recommended). Nice Shopping Center, easily accessed by bus. Nice market, in the summer you can buy forest fruits that are picked by the locals.

The hotel is very nice, there is a parking place just in front of the hotel. Around the hotel, five minutes walk there are a lot of nice places to eat. In the hotel is a good restaurant, too. On my next visit I will ask a room that does not has a view to the national road E85. I am surprised that even the rooms have nice big insulated glass windows, you can hear everything even the voices of the youth that are spending the night in the park in front of the hotel. And all the night a lot of cars.

Durau is a good location for tourists who come to go hiking on the mountain trails on Mount Ceahlău. Accommodation in the area is very expensive compared to the services offered. The services offered by hoteliers and other service providers are disappointing compared to the price charged. uCompared to Vatea Dornei where the services are at least 2 times better than in Durău. I say this because I was two days after Durau in Vatra Dornei (Bucovina).

Nice small town next to the Neamt old fortress, and in driving distance to around 20 old orthodox monasteries. Also the town of Romanian author Ion Creanga, in the Humulesti village nearby it’s his memorial house museum. For quick shopping you have local small shops and Lidl. Good restaurants near the fortress.
