This is a beautiful hotel. The food in the restaurant is really good and the breakfast was great every day. The staff went above and beyond for us, serving us drinks after hours when we arrived late and gave us loads of good places to visit. We cane for the therme spa but it was far too busy so we left and went into the old town to soak up some culture. Location is not great for getting into town but if you take an uber it's not so bad, rougly 18pound. They gave us late check out until 4 for free and everything was spotless

Loved everything about this hotel from the minute we arrived at the doorstep! The decor is absolutely beautiful and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful! We got a room upgrade and it was so beautiful, we really enjoyed the Rituals products in the bathroom, such a nice touch! Amazing value for money in a city like Bucharest. Easy 15 minute walking distance to all the main attractions.

I really was surprised in a nice way buy the quality of service. Receptionist Cristian Sibiseanu had helped me in quite stressful situation. I was traveling buy bus from Ukraine and stuck in a longline there. I missed the check-in time and arrived to the hotel really late. But Cristian treated the situation with understanding. He have made a check in for me so I had opportunity to rest before my flight and he was friendly and polite. Another advantage of the Sir Gara de Nord is its location - only a few minutes by walk from Bucharest Nord Railway station. So it’s quite easy to get to the airport but train.

The room I stayed in was clean - that's the main thing. The carpet was replaced, the bedside tables, dishes, chairs and dining table are new (I have something to compare with, I stayed at this hotel for the 3rd time). Special thanks to the staff who cleaned the rooms every day - very neat guys and to the administrators at the reception - issues were resolved promptly.

This was a birthday vacation for my father, Daniel did everything to make parents stay amazing, even a nice celebration surprise. We are grateful we had Daniel as our host at CARO. Most important things for me are location and quietness, and I had them both in this hotel. The location is close to a metro station and to the bus to/from the airport. The rooms are quiet and I could sleep well without disturbances. Also it was nice to have the local sports channels on tv.

Big city with a huge diversification in society, though it can be quite gritty with dirty streets and many people screaming or sleeping in the open. However, the transport system is good; the metro, buses, and trams work very well, with the buses and trams being particularly comfortable and frequent, changing every 7 to 9 minutes. It is a great historical place with a fascinating mix of culture and architecture, though the social contrast between different areas is very noticeable

The hotel was warm, friendly welcoming and convenient. The shuttle to and from the airport worked well. The hotel was clean and there were helpful amenities such as tea/ coffee and water in rooms. The restaurant was good value with a varied menu , food was great, served promptly. All staff spoke English, and all were friendly and keen to help. Location was perfect for prompt connections to flights. There are good public transport links into the city too. There is no lift, but this was not an issue as staff helped to carry bags. No noticeable noise from airport or main road with windows closed. No noise from other guests.

Immaculate property, easy to get in and out, great location for the US Embassy, zoo close by and very good location. Great, great beds and pillows, two balconies, 3 air conditioning units, restaurants within walking distance. Easy to get in and out, underground parking, great wifi. Easy to get in touch with owner. Super safe location. I would come again and stay longer.

Therme was amazing got to recommend, don’t bother going for Elysium the palm is the best part! Close to the shops, nice affordable shops to visit and easy to use public transport, I’d recommend downloading bolt for your time there.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious. It’s a good location as everything is within a 20 minute taxi ride. The staff were so friendly and accomodating. The owner, Victoria really went out of her way to make sure you had an amazing stay. We loved every minute of our stay there and would definitely come back!

The hosts were extremely kind and responsive. They allowed our group to use all the amenities. I strongly recommend. We took advantage of the snow and made a snowman in the yard. It is extremely nice to be greeted with a smile, warmth and responsiveness. The hosts don't speak English well, but we used a mobile app and everything was fine.

The airport is not great at all, the staff are not friendly, and the available food is terrible. the food is so overpriced for an airport and does not look fresh. In the Duty Free, the staff are on their phone and do not want to help. The toilets are disgusting and covered in faeces or broken locks. Would not recommend at all.

lovely location and good communication to begin with, with the owner however when showing faults of the inside room they did not agree although there is proof. There is mould in bathroom and the smell is very overwhelming despite leaving the windows opened. I could not stay for more than the weekend with dust/dirt of the room honestly. They just need to clean the inside of the room to the good standard that is in the lounge area and put a nice air fresher in the room, same as outside. :)
