I have stayed there between 13th and 16th of January 2025. I liked the location, close to Bistrita and to many other tourist attractions that are in the area( Colibita Lake, Sangeorz-Bai, Etc.). The rooms and bathrooms are really clean. The staff is very friendly and eager to help or answer all of your questions. There is parking available in front of the Hotel and if that is full you have plenty of parking spaces next to the hotel in a dedicated area. The food was good, we have arrived hungry and the staff was able to provide us with healthy and tasty food, for which we are deeply grateful. The breakfast was also good with plenty of food to choose from. All in all I really enjoyed my stay at Hoterl Poarta Transilvaniei, I will stay there in the future if the need arises and I will recommend it to other friends and family.

I have stayed there between 13th and 16th of January 2025. I liked the location, close to Bistrita and to many other tourist attractions that are in the area( Colibita Lake, Sangeorz-Bai, Etc.). The food was good, we have arrived hungry and the staff was able to provide us with healthy and tasty food, for which we are deeply grateful. The breakfast was also good with plenty of food to choose from. All in all I really enjoyed my stay at Hoterl Poarta Transilvaniei, I will stay there in the future if the need arises and I will recommend it to other friends and family.

The most important for me/us, when we use a Hotel is, that its clean and the beds are good! I have travelled the World -next year, for 50 years, as a curious person and as a professional traveller, guidebook-writer and photographer, tourleader. I have to tell you, this Hotel, Ozana, is the best value for money, I have ever had. Everything was perfect, the roomsize, the painting, for storage, bathroom, fresh carpet, elevator. Breakfast was okay. But the best was the bed. The best beds, we have slept in in Years. Firm, clean fresh. Big and small pillows, So wonderful!! I dont understand why some hotels have very bad outworn beds. Ozana will be in my mind forever! Off course all hotels should be like this!

One of the most pleasant and warm experiences I’ve ever had! Situated in a beautiful place with great mountain and rural views, the Montana Resort offers great value for money. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the staff was wonderful. The pool and jacuzzi are top notch and the water was perfect. I haven’t tried the sauna though, but will do so when I come back. You can also spend time with outdoor activities like basketball, football or badminton, and they offer a boat toor on the lake. The food at the restaurant is very good. I recommend the Radauteana soup and the trout. Prices are more than fair, for the experience.

We've had a pleasant experience having booked two nights at Roser House -Colobita. First of all I would like to mention that the staff was very helpful and friendly as well as the hotel itself was very nice and clean, nothing to complain .The outside pool was amazing , we enjoyed it a lot. Another important aspect is that the SPA was absolutely fantastic, very clean and you could use it as much as you could as long as it was in the time schedule . Thanks and see you next time !

The owner was very friendly – he offered us an apartment that exceeded our expectations. He helped us with extra information about the restaurants in the area and what to visit and do nearby. Every time he saw us, he asked if we were comfortable. The comfort, cleanliness, beds, and especially the view left us pleasantly surprised. Everything was just perfect! Very friendly staff,clean room,good location. Even if the restaurant is full of people, you can't hear any noise once you are in the room. My bus was 5 hours late ,it was 4am ,I couldn't find a taxi and the guy from the reception came to pick me up!Didn't expect that. Thank you for an amazing stay!❤

Very clean, air conditioning, very comfortable beds and pillows, hair dryer, and the most wonderful shower conditions: a glass cabin, so you don't get claustrophobic, easy to make the perfect combination of hot/cold water, easily adjustable head shower and no leaking water into the bathroom!!! Close to the town center.

I was born in this city. I expected to be a relaxing city, which it is. But the traffic is a nightmare. Most people I guess are living outside the center, but everyone needs to travel through the town. The roads were jammed.

When we arrived, being Sunday, Colibita was quite crowded.

When we arrived, being Sunday, Colibita was quite crowded. We found a good restaurant, Hanul Colibita, the food was good, Transylvanian specialties, acceptable prices, friendly staff. The view is beautiful, imagine, the melange of mountains and below the lake (sea) with forest on the slopes.

A new building. A wonderful quiet, rural, mountain setting. Everything clean and in great shape. We were the only guests, but they still kept the restaurant dining room open for whatever hours we wanted our breakfasts and dinners. The food was terrific! Paul was a wonderful host, who catered to our every need, and even suggested some beautiful walks for us that started right out the door.

It is a beautiful lake and place at the bottom of mountains...

It is a beautiful lake and place at the bottom of mountains Cǎlimani in eastern Transilvania, the gate of Transilvania some call it! Some roads could be better but the location is quiet and beautiful. I've only been in October which is off season.

We went there to visit family.

We went there to visit family. Otherwise mot much to do or see( sorry). The whole city was dug up to re-do the road structure , so a nightmare to travel both by foot or car( done both). But you can find cheap, diverse, very tasty food in the city “ pe pietonala” ( as local people call the heart of the city)
