The city is interesting to visit but the air company that flies there,has some isues.First they changed the departure hour so I got there at 4 in the morning. I left Bacau with 5 hours delay.Because of this a negative experience!

It was a wasted time my journey to Slănic Moldova and also the time spent there. Slanic Moldova has nothing to offer but poorly maintained buildings, bad roads, everywhere you look you see a For Sale sign - the town looks deserted and the old, beautiful buildings, with an attractive arhitecture are either for sale or closed and left to rot. There is only one grocery store. In the winter time you can ski at Nemira ski slope but make sure that it has snow (you can check it live on internet). I tried to save some of my holiday and went to visit Ghika Palace but it was also in a very bad shape, like the country has no Ministry of Culture.

A quiet city, but beautiful nonetheless.

A quiet city, but beautiful nonetheless. Getting around is easy, because the city is small, even without public transport. I love walking around the river banks. I traveled for birdwatching, so that was my favourite activity during my stay. It would be better if the rivers were cleaned a bit though.

We came for the bear dance.

We came for the bear dance. Be careful of the roma at the market. They stole our credit cards and charged away before we could get them stopped. Every charge was at the market. The bear dance festival was amazing and well worth the visit!

pros. Clean and comfortable room. Good food into the restaurant. cons. Because my room was on the first floor it was to noisy because of the restaurant placed into parter under my room. So, if you don't want to hear drunk voices till the middle of the night , select a room on the last floor or better with windows in another side of building.

Excellent location in downtown Bacau located in a quiet retreat. Spotless, A/C, extremely gentle staff and owner, cute terrasse, fog-cooled, secure parking. Breakfast onsite and delicious coffee, you may even order lunch. Good ratio quality-price.

Very clean, everything taken care of. The mineral springs area is fabulous. The restaurants in the area are excellent, at reasonable prices. Many products are from the area and cooked food predominates. I recommend.

Hello, as I already wrote you on both, messages on 29th of September 2023, and via email, on 30th of September 2023, the property was not available at all. when I called him on 27th, he told me that the property is not anymore on Booking, thus not available. In spite the fact that I payed in advance, I was forced to find, at very short notice, accommodation for 4 adults. You are urged to return my money, to delete this property from your books and to apologize.

Bacau is an interesting place, surrounded by lovely countryside. The traffic in the town centre can be very congested at times and seems to be a total free for all with every driver making up their own rules !

Great location for wandering around.

Great location for wandering around. The resort is mixed - there are refurbished hotels along with decrepit architectural jewels. There are good restaurants in the area. The main issue I experienced - during church masses they put out the loud speakers in the park and you end up being forced to hear the religious songs instead of birds :-(
