The room was small but comfortable, the bed good, the pool very nice and the view of the ocean wonderful. The owner was lovely and we were very pleasantly surprised about the excellent dinner at the hotel’s restaurant.

THE place to stay if you are looking for something near St. Rose!
The appartment is cute, comfortable, spacious, clean, perfectly equipped and is 3min off the main road at an absolutely idyllic and quiet place.
Your are the only guests on the property. The hosts, Valérie and Jean, share their beautiful garden and surroundings with you.
It is located perfectly! You have near by restaurants (by car 2-8min) and many things to see.
Highlight; start the coastal trail in direction to Anse de Cascades right in the back yard from this place! It is a must do while you are there! Also; culée de lave 2007, lava tunnel tour, museum of the lava coulées,...and more!
Last but not least; the hosts are amazing! Very kind, extremely helpful.. and open for a chat and drink if you feel like it.

I arrived Sainte-Rose on a Christmas evening when everything was closed. Hungry and tired after hours of driving, I asked if the host was able to provide me some simple bread as dinner with my mere few words of French. They were so friendly and concerned, and after 15 mins, they showed up in my room again with a full spread of toast with foie gras, made a few cheese tarts, fruit and shared some fizzy drinks with me - most heartwarming Christmas dinner ever! They did all they can to make sure I feel comfortable though we speak different language. They even woke up early and showed me the beautiful sunrise at their garden at 6am when I said I am a photographer and I love sunrise. The location is very convenient too if you are visiting the Lava Church nearby. The guest room (2 bedrooms, large kitchen, living room and cosy bathroom) is very spacious and homey, accompanied with a beautiful courtyard and garden.
