GreeceThe hotel rooms were very comfortable and had a balcony with an amazing view of the pool and sea. We lay in bed at night with the door open and listened to the waves and watched the sunrise. The hotel was just outside the town but there is a lovely promenade outside which leads into the town. Pool towels are provided and there is a small gym (which we didn’t use as preferred to run along promenade). Buffet breakfast was very nice. Car parking available on site. There was a lovely restaurant next door to hotel on sea front which was lovely in the evening.

In the city center, very close to the most famous cultural heritage attractions (churches, museums, botanic garden) to restuarants, shops and bars. It is also just 1 minute on feet from the beach and the port. The hotel was recently renovated but it keeps all the old fashion (but with the most modern comforts!!). The breakfast is amazing!! But, above all, the staff is ready to help you for any needs (transfers, restuarants booking, tours organization)!

Everything about this hotel met our expectations (as you can see by our ratings). While the location was at the top of a hill from the center of town (which meant going up the hill every time were returned from the city center), we were still very happy with its setting. It was on a quiet street off of a main road and at night the neighbourhood was exceptionally quiet.
There was an issue with our room. The one that we were offered was not like the one that appeared in the BOOKING.COM photos. The photos in the booking of our SUPERIOR room had photos of the executive suite (unbeknownst to us), which is what we were expecting. I think that this was an error on the part of Booking.com. Upon mentioning this to the hotel, the management ultimately decided to upgrade us to the executive suite.
The daily breakfast that was included was both copious and varied. Very good!
The staff were friendly and helpful without being intrusive.

This is an amazing place, you must stay here if visiting Terceira! Whole village, including architectural, gastronomic, ethnographic and cultural evolution of the island of Terceira. You can see different handcraft workshops as they used to be, you can se farming, orchards, chicken, you sleep in different houses. At arrival you get a map and then you explore the village. It is amazing how every detail is made with affort. You are transported back in time, but keeping all the luxury of the modern times. Amazing breakfast and great traditional restaurant on site. Kind staff, nice rooms and pool. Top stay!!!!

It's a small room, more a tiny house - but with clever ideas integrated and an awesome concept: Only 3 houses, so it's quiet and you feel like being completely private for yourself. That includes the pool and other facilities, which compensates the small room, e.g. you have your own terrasse with an awesome view on the ocean.
Breakfast was simply perfect - with the unique option to take it with you wherever you like.

I had a great stay here! The hotel offers excellent value for money and is located very close to the city center. You can even see the ocean at the end of the street, which was a lovely surprise. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and everything went smoothly. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful.
Beautiful. There are many fascinating old buildings, cozy cafes, great beaches, and steep hills to climb. Great nature reserve at Monte Brasil. The people are very friendly. Quite a few facilities in this small little town. Very relaxing.

A very comfortable and pleasant town for living and staying, with very nice people, and an overall good atmosphere. There is enough to see and to enjoy, from food, ice-creams, and cafes. It also has a lovely small market where you can eat as well, and opposite a garden with a nice sitting area. It has all possible shops, a large grocery, it's surrounded by hills, and much green. There are many very nice old houses, nicely renovated
We are not young, so I can't say. There is a very nice and spacious beach with fine black sand
The town is a little bit on a hill, but by walking down, you can enjoy a very nice view of the sea. This is also the heart of the town.
Another good trip is a walk the monup the hill to ument. It can be walked from both sides, both offering very nice views all around.
Moving around without a car is quite difficult

Go stay somewhere nicer on Terceira. I only stayed in the very windy village of Lajas for one night to be closer to the airport for my very early flight. There are some restaurants here but don't expect much. Praia do Vitoria is nearby if you like to hear airplanes overhead.

Its a small island formed from multiple volcano calderas. There are plenty of fantastic viewpoints. Its much less taken over by tourism than other bigger islands so you really feel authentic.
Food and drink is very cheap and even excursions/trips are fairly affordable. Car hire etc has less choice than a bigger island. We hired a 125cc scooter which was a great way to explore the island.
Many of the shops/bars speak English, but plenty of the locals do not. If you can learn a little Portuguese before you go it will definitely help.

There is not a lot going on in this town.
There is not a lot going on in this town. Most visitors spend only an hour or two at the shore. For the extra day Trilha Rocha do Chambra is an inland hike closer to Biscoitos than Angra. The shore walk to Quatro Ribeiras gives some good shore views. In late May it was cloudy every day; but no rain. There is one very food restaurant in town: Botequim o Baghulho.

Hilly nice little town with historical center and marina. Not easy to drive through and park, but excellent for walking. Not many souvenir shops, and lots of cheap Chinese fake products but comparing to other towns in Azores this one is quite big.
Bars, restaurants and bistros are there but these are not the best, they are sufficient though.
The natural reserve on peninsula with citadel and military base is extraordinary. Great view and experience, nice for picnic or hiking!

Praia da Vitoria is an interesting, clean, attractive town to walk around at any time of day. The people are friendly and helpful. The food outlets are varied, from quiet quality restaurants to burger bars and excellant coffee/cake shops. The transport links are good and the bus ride into Angra is not to be missed. Prices of food are a lovely surprise, for two people from €6 for latte and cake, €9 for coffee and sandwich, €20 for a main, beer and coffee to €50 for a three course with excellent wine. Beaches are clean and seem very safe.

I really liked Biscoitos because of the natural pools and the cafe where you can sit and enjoy the sunset. It also has bakeries and restaurants and a wine museum. The location is great for visiting the whole island. I would definitely choose to stay in Biscoitos again.

Small town on a great beach front. Safe waters for swimming and dedicated areas for watersports, surfung can be undertaken further down tiwards the port.
Good eating places and bars. Walk to the top of the Mirradour for fanastic views (its 283 steps)
