It was incredibly clean and light. Very comfortable. The help from a very kind gentleman in the breakfast room with tea in our room( we English!) was over and above his duties whilst the breakfast was superb. Wonderful village on the Douro and wished we could have stayed longer.

What an amazing experience. We were to stay one night but decided to stay 3 😀 the swimming pool indoor and sauna and steam room were part of the price. Staff were so lovely and the restaurant food was totally 5 ⭐️. I appreciated the time here very much
